Is it impossible to improve your manager's WWY attribute?

Hi there. I've done a great deal of searching and it looks like nobody has an answer:

Is there really no way to improve your manager's "working with youngsters" attribute?

 

Everything I've seen suggests it's impossible, and I'd love to get confirmation from a staffer.

I'm not sure,, but I think if you work with young players a lot, it will increase over time but a slow process.

Be involved in the u23 and u18 training, sign younger players etc etc.

As I mention, it will be a long process but  I think it's doable.

You would think so. But reviewing others' experiences that doesn't seem true.

Likewise here, notice all stats improve except LoD, Adaptability, and WWY. We know how to improve LoD and Adaptability, but not WWY (

I will add my opinion as you linked to my topic.  I have also recorded my stats on the dafuge Challenge this season.

In my time of recording my games on the forum, around four years or so, my LoD, Adaptability & WWY have never increased.  Bug or working as intended?  Only SI can answer.

If you look on the fifth page of the first topic @50-pence links, I have relinked below, you will see my stats after my sixth season.  LoD, Adaptability & WWY have not changed in the six seasons I have been playing.

Thanks for bringing this up. From what I've read, LoD can be increased by disciplining/fining your players for suspensions, performances, etc. (See the discipline contract at the start of the season). And adaptability can be increased by taking a job in a foreign country/a country where you have to learn a different language. I'm inclined to believe those reports.

WWY, however, doesn't seem to change, even when someone works with plenty of young players (23 and under). As a last ditch effort, I wonder if it is only increased if you coach a youth team (such as an youth nation in an international competition).

I have quite a harsh Code of Conduct and have fined my players tens of times each season.  Yet my LoD remains the same.  I am only in England so Adaptability won’t change,

Might be worth uploading your game saves and raising the issue in the bugs forum.  @Seb Wassell is there anything you can share here in terms of certain manager attributes (eg., working with youngsters, level of discipline) not increasing?

They are dynamic, Level of Discipline changing based on actions such as fines for example, so as @herne79 says there may be an issue here. If you could post your example/s in our bugs area with the save that'd be great cheers.

@Seb WassellWould you say the way WWY is *supposed* to rise is merely by incorporating youth into the first team? Or training youth? Developing youth into full regulars? Working as U19 and U23 intl coach?

What's the path to it?

If you don't mind me being coy this once, I'd rather we investigated to discover why (/if) it isn't functioning as intended before detailing how it works.
