Northernpilgrim
A couple of Friendlies, and the start of the Rio State League and the Copa Libertadores, and it was a perfect January but we are only second in our group, and need to win it to make the final
Northernpilgrim
February was very nearly perfect, with 7 wins out of 8 and we finished top of our State Group, so will face Flamengo in the Final and here is the Copa Libertadores table

Sankalan
One of Amerigo's life goals was to discover a sea route to India, and Vasco da gama was the one who achieved that. And now Amerigo is managing Vasco da gama. World is such a small place.

I'm kinda glad I ended up at Vasco da Gama now, even if it was completely unintentional
Northernpilgrim
Six wins out of six in a perfect March and we're looking very well placed to win our group in the Rio State Championship and going nicely in the Copa Libertadores too
Northernpilgrim
April was another month that was one match from perfection and we topped our Rio State Group with 6 wins from 6 as well as winning our Copa Libertadores group
Northernpilgrim
May started off with a difficult run of games, and we lost three times including the Rio State Final, but we responded magnificently and we end the month in the top four, despite having been bottom after two games
Northernpilgrim
Only one match in June as there is a mid-season break for the World Cup but despite winning, we drop out of the top four I've also been busy in the transfer market, making five new signings since the window opened in May
Northernpilgrim
An unbeaten July in the league, the only defeat came in the Copa do Brazil and that leaves us second in the league
Northernpilgrim
August was a huge month. We came through the league games with a 100pc record, couldn't overturn the Copa do Brazil first leg defeat, but progressed in the Copa Libertadores after overturning a narrow first leg loss and we remain second in the league, but the gap is now 5 points as Corinthians also had a perfect month, and have played an extra game. Northernpilgrim
We were great for 6 games in September. Unfortunately there were still three games left and those three defeats cost us a place in the semi final of the Copa Libertadores, and left us 4 points adrift in the league
Northernpilgrim
A solid, if unspectacular October but it was enough to put us 5 points clear, with 8 games to go
Northernpilgrim
November was another good month and we sit top of the table, with two games left, a game more than the rest, and a two point lead.
Northernpilgrim
We won both games in December so we're Champions and here's the final table, with us winning the league by 5 points

Northernpilgrim
Very nearly a perfect first month in charge (I took over after the Guarani game) and the Sao Paulo State Championship looks like this but we have work to do in the Copa Libertadores
Northernpilgrim
March was another unbeaten month and here is how the Sao Paulo State Championship looks now We have also repaired the damage in the Copa Libertadores, and now top the group
Northernpilgrim
April was not quite as good, but not terrible either which leaves the Sao Paulo table looking like this and we topped our Copa Libertadores group
Northernpilgrim
May was a tough month, as we lost the second leg of the Sao Paulo State Final, and got off to a slow start in Serie A and we're already 5 points off the top, and worse, behind my old club Vasco
Neotropolis
I suppose the Serie A isn't too much issue. It's the Libertadores that you need

Northernpilgrim
June was ok but not great though we definitely should have beaten Fortaleza and that has cost us a little in the Serie A table, as a win in that game would have seen us end the month top

Northernpilgrim
In terms of transfers, we've added two players during the transfer window Barrera was a bit of a panic signing when Arsenal triggered Letlotlo's release clause, leaving me three days to sign a replacement goalkeeper but Popo was a player I wanted to bring in from my old club, although he can't play in Serie A because of the number of games he's already played for Vasco this season, so he'll be used in the Copa do Brazil and Libertadores

Northernpilgrim
September was great, apart from a shambolic defeat away to Vitoria which left us still third, but with no chance of the title.
Northernpilgrim
We had a poor October, but that was in part due to me serving a touchline ban against Paranaense which, if we'd won that game instead of losing it, would have seen us back in the title hunt
Northernpilgrim
November was a very nearly perfect month which saw my team win the Copa Libertadores and with one match left, we are remarkably in with a chance of the title, and would be top of the table but for the draw with Coritiba
Northernpilgrim
We won the final league game, and the semi final of the Club World Cup, but came up just short against Man Utd in the final but that final day victory wasn't enough to pinch the title, although it doesn't matter as I've won it with Vasco already
Northernpilgrim
And with that I've won everything I need to at club level.
