I also added a number of Canadian media sources and prominent soccer journalists. Victoria, Calgary, Winnipeg, Grand River, and London have been filled out with rosters from their respective PDL teams. CPL: Victoria Highlanders, FC Edmonton, Calgary Foothills, Regina Roughriders, Winnipeg Wolfpack, Hamilton Steelers, Toronto Blizzard, Quebec Royals, Halifax Wanderers, Grand River Union, Forest City London; Four team playoffs, winner qualifies for CONCACAF Champions League Voyageurs Cup: CPL teams, MLS teams (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver) and the champion of the second division league. Winner qualifies for CONCACAF Champions League Canadian Second Division: Made up of League1 Ontario, Premier League Soccer Quebec, and Pacific Coast Soccer League -Various BC/Prairie amateur teams moved to PCSL, and Quebec/Maritime-based teams moved to PLSQ -Thunder Bay moved to L1O -Round robin playoff between 3 respective champions -To keep things realistic, there is no PRO/REL between leagues and the three MLS teams remain with MLS -Had to make changes to Concacaf Champions League - switched to a summer schedule, with the Caribbean receiving one less team and the CFU Cup has become an earlier stage in the champions league -CPL Logo designed by me (Edward Hon-Sing Wong), team logos designed by GuillermoDelQuarto Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am leaning towards realism though. The Canadian Premier League is a highly anticipated proposed league, rumored to begin in 2018. There has been one confirmed club: Hamilton, one ownership group in Halifax declaring interest publicly and 12 rumored ownership groups declare interest. The owner of Maccabi Tel Aviv is a Toronto native and is interested in a team here, MLSE interested in turning FC London into a CPL team. Other interested parties include ownership groups for various CFL and NHL teams. Realistically, the league will start with 8 teams. This mod initially involved a ten team league, but expanded to 12 after supporters groups from Kitchener-Waterloo messaged me on twitter asking to be added. Wage budgets are a touch higher than anticipated (league rumored to be $1.5m per team, but I went with $2m to correct AI behaviour), but the foreign players AI sign are realistic ( a lot of English league 1, Croatian/Bosnian league players). FC Edmonton, and Ottawa have their existing NASL squads, and Victoria, Calgary, Winnipeg, GRU, and London have their PDL squads (all players have correct DOB, height (the 3% I couldn't find have random heights), ethnicity, position etc.). Admittedly, the PDL squads have been a touch overrated (3,4 players with 90CA, 6,7 with 80CA..) at USL levels, but this is to correct AI behaviour of gutting entire teams and signing 25 players (which I find unrealistic). Other fantasy elements: -reshuffling of second division, with a number of amateur clubs either promoted, or in case of semi-pro Thunder Bay relegated to L1O -Reshuffling of Voyageurs Cup to allow entry by CPL teams and one second division champion -2 spots for champions League instead of one So, as you can see, there's definitely fantasy involved; however, it's a realistic interpretation I am going for. I am also considering fleshing out L1O, PLSQ rosters, and may release another mod focused on a completely realistic L1O. Not sure if its a database issue or my skin issue but when playing as Hamilton Steelers the goals # is blank in the top bar of the game and in the stats overview screen... again it could be my skin or its the database not squad sure.. Werid i went to go play my next game and it showed up.. it only disappears after we score goals,, either way still playing the database minus that small error isnt going to stop me, love the database keep up the good work Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
