Pre-Season Friendlies

1-2 Oxford: Knight

5-1 Bishop's Stortford: Knight (2) Dunn (2) Smith

7-0 Leigh: Knight (2) Dunn (5)

2-0 Burscough: Dunn, Knight.

15-3. Average of 4-1. I'll take that!

Oxford are League 1

Bishop & Leigh are BSN

Burscough are Non-League.

On to the proper games!

He has impressed me so far in 3 pre-season friendlies.

August

Game 1, Forest Away.

By half-time we were 4 down. I was speechless we had 60% possession and better pass completion and the shots were level! Why were we 4 down?! The team had mainly 6s, couple of 5s and a 7. What have I got myself into? By the hour mark James Dunn had made it 4-2 (really?icon_biggrin.gif) and with 6 minutes of ordinary time we were 4-3 down. I was fixated on this game and in the 94th minute Nep sent a corner in which was turned in by James Dunn!

Full time score 4-4 Dunn (4)

I won't make each match this long but as it was my first and was so eventful! Also, Dunn went from a 6 at HT to a 10 at FT, I'm good! icon_biggrin.gif

Game 2, Peterborough 1-2 Dunn

Game 3, Charlton 1-2 Roche

Game 4, Morecambe 1-1 Roche

Game 5, MK Dons 3-0 Knight (2) Dunn

Quite an up and down month but I'm impressed by the Dunny Monster!

End of an era.

No chance of offering him to other clubs and trying to cancel it, or is that slightly unethical?

You know the worst things about this?

Not only did we lose our goal a game striker, the Board in their infinite wisdom bumped up the transfer budget to precisely £95,920.00

Ahh yes Paul, his 'padawan' as you mentioned is doing very well indeed, shame about his stand in manager!
