Never Say Die
...ray houghton, ferguson, and houllier have retired along with capello. After winning consecutive titles I've been offered England role and guardiola has left barcarole to manage Spain. My top scout tord grip announced he will retire at the end of the season but won't sign a one year deal and has left the club. It's a little unrealistic si, especially as houghton was doing really well.
Carmi88
ending a career on a high is unrealistic?

StevoRobbo
ray houghton? do you mean roy hodgson?
Never Say Die
Yeah I do mean hodgson. I don't think he would retire, especially considering he'd only been there 2 years and was starting to make things work. Let's see when he retires irl a? Same with houlier, tho fergy I admit is more realistic.

wally13
The older managers retiring is't a problem for me its the recently retired players like 34 getting good manager jobs just had aron MClean take over rochdale in my current save hes only 30
lil ole me
Gary Neville took over the managers role at West Ham in the 2nd year in my save btw Hodgson, ferguson and Houillier all retired in my 3rd season too
Never Say Die
Oh dear is the players taking over at clubs thing still happening? I thought that was a glaring error in fm2010 that si would have ironed out first with this edition. Hodgson is only 64 in my game when he retires, a lot of managers go a lot longer than that. I guess I'm just upset cause Liverpool were making good opposition.
