The number of additional leagues, cups etc down at Level 11 can cause it to drag a bit. You could always try starting with the Level 10 patch although if your machine was slow even in the first season, starting with just Level 8 and above might be best.

nice daemonic im currently fighting relegation in my 1st season of the prem , stadium is up to 12k now though and expanding my youth network :D got 8 mill to spend but cant get no one good enough lol and im making 2-3 mill a month .

Congrats maff. I was the same the first season or 2 in the Premier League so signed youngsters and wages were very low so the money rolled in. Now I'm losing 2-3 million a month, just the CL & PRM prize and TV money keeping me in the black. If you're looking for talent, Argentina, Brazil & Spain in that order have been the best for me. France has produced a couple of gems as well. I don't even bother scouting England anymore, poor players and overpriced.

Hi all i saw this challenge yesterday while i was doing anything but my work at uni, but i had to wait until now to start it due to work and more uni.

I am going to start at Whittlessy United in the English Peterborough & District League Premier Division, they are valued at a high flying $425 AU, reminds me of the local team i play for, we might even be worth more (mind you though it is the 1st time my team has entered the amateur league).

Most MoM: David Haggerty, 8

Highest Avg Rating: David Haggerty, 7.70 (32 apps)

Fans Player of the Year: David Haggerty - Has every right to this award, he came into the team when we were conceding 2 a game but still winning and then we had a period of 8 games with out conceding. As you can see he also starred up front being the clubs equal highest scorer, all coming from corners.

Congrats on promotion Rignal and best of luck next season. Presume you've gone semi-pro now?

BTW, the links in your post are 'broken', they seem to have one too many 'http//' in there.

Did you have any luck with the Windows Snipping tool? You may need to switch to Windowed mode to use it but it works well if you can do this.

Yes we are now semi-professional and as a result the board wanted to build a new stadium but the local council's response was a NO there is no space.

As for the windows Snipping tool, i couldn't find it on Vista so i just ended up taking a photo with my camera and then uploading it to my computer.

I have also fixed the links, it was late at night and i forgot that Google chrome includes the http:// in the address bar even though it doesn't show it

Hi all, been away for some time after a great start with the English small club to big club challenge. Stopped playing for some weeks due to a heavy schedule but picked it up just a week ago.

The challenge is going great so far! Still amazed by results of Daemonic and TAOD, and am nowhere near that, but still managed to get an promotion each year so far. Now playing in the League 2 division and am now in early January. Standing 4th in the competition now, but played a few less. New foreign players taking time to gell made it a hell start, losing the first game 1-6 at home :D (Losses in fixture #1, #3, #11, #18 and #24. But won 8 of last 9 games).

Cheers mate. Just found out i got 132 under contract, never really paid attention to the youth squad contracts which means i could release a lot of them to push the finances a bit higher.

Still no sign of a stadium expansion or new stadium though, asked for it since the 2010 year but it never came trough. Minor is that the club doesn't own the stadium and they say there is no money to buy it. Got my hopes on the end of this season cause the 2500 capacity (280 seats) is fully crowded like almost every match now (finally).

Any ideas how i should handle to get a new stadium trough? Or how much money there will be needed on the bank to buy the stadium?

Cheers

edit - table after a 1-4 win at Yeovil Town :Dhere

I started with less than 1000 capacity so from reading other stories I think getting into L2 triggers a new stadium with such a small stadium. If it's anything like last FM10 then it might be a season or 2 yet before you get the stadium announced....then another 2 to build :(

That's a lot of time.. let's hope for the best. I would be happy if i could get close to 10K in the championship. But maybe that is to much to ask for.

PS - My quality (foreign) signings finally look to pay of their our expectations! Seriously needed blending striker Paul Hayes scored a hattrick last game (9 goals in 12(12) games now) and Defender Jesús, with amazing length and jumping, is starting to score from corners as well.

Only thing i do not understand is why top-signing CB Byron Anthony keeps playing rubbish.. He is blend in to the squad, but never seems to be able to get to his level.

In some ways its better to get the new stadium later as it starts bigger and has more expansion capacity. This year I got a new stadium announced in L2, opened when we got to the Championship but it's maxed out at 14,300 seats. On FM10 I had to wait until our season in the Championship for the announcement and it eventually expanded to around 30k. Swings and roundabouts :)

That information is ace =) Cheers daemonic.

Now standing first in the competition in begin February and just won the JPT on a 1-0 and 1-4 result against Crystal Palace. over 19K people showed up at their stadium which gave me 90K + the 24K for winning the trophy. Makes up a little bit for the early Arsenal draw (2-3) at home in the FA Cup ^^

*w00t*

PS - The team doesn't win a season undefeatened, but they perform like beasts against higher rep teams!

Hey just wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to overcome the situation of the local council rejecting your boards plans to build a new stadium, my board have planned to build a new stadium twice now and both times the local council has stopped them. The only reason this annoying me so much is the fact we don't actually have a stadium we just a pitch.

Weird, I've seen the message about the council blocking planning permission to expand a stadium but not blocking a new one. Which level are you at now? It's very rare to get a new stadium before making it to L2 so it might just be the games way of saying 'not yet'.

I am still in level 10, so yea maybe. The board might just been responding to the fact i have generated in excess of $1M Au is 3/4 of a season for them. But won't let me improve training or youth facilities.

i had the same rignal , think its due to the fan base and your chairman not getting a loan to fund the stadium , when they did build me one it was 8 or 9 k , expanded it twice and now its 18k but cant expand no more , finaly doing well in the prem , 1st at the minute on the 3rd or 4th try lol so hoping i can keep it up make Europe or champs league and get a new stadium built :D

Assuming FM11 follows the same rules as FM10 the 2nd new stadium will take a while. On FM10, Dafuge discovered in his game that there is a hard limit of 15 years between the opening of one stadium and the announcement of a new one so if you moved to your first new stadium in 2020 it will be 2035 before a new one is announced and 2 more years before it opens.

To expand that there also appeared to be a 2nd rule that you must be selling over half your capacity in season tickets because on my FM10 game I got to the 15 years in a new stadium mark and despite playing to full houses in almost every game it was a few more seasons before a 2nd new stadium was announced and it tied in with the first season where we sold +50% of capacity in season tickets.

Was announced as a 90,000+ stadium but FM11 arrived before we got to move in :(

just finished the season 11/12 end would you believe we are getting that new stadium after all; uploading screen-shots of everything, stadium has a capacity of 4275, 1068 seated, and we will paying it off until 2042 :/. But it beats the nothing we had before

20k spend and 95k received, sold a lot of young players on a free with the 50% transfer clause.

npower League 2

Predicted:24th | Final Position: 2nd

Very sad to have not won the league for the first time in the challenge. Started with a struggle, fought back into first position but Stockport were just to strong in the end and finished above the 100 pts mark.

FA Cup - 3rd Round

Winning first two games with easy, but Arsenal was way to good for us, even though playing at home and despite a 24th minute Arsenal red card.

League Cup - 1ste Round

Pretty much outclassed away from Swansey as well, Really a shame cause the team really got themselves together after gelling in the first 2 months.

This year i got a board-takeover by a local businessman. He didn't pumped any money in to the club or so, but he accepted really anything i asked for! which was a new youth training ground, A-team training ground, and, oh yeah, a new stadium. (half-way in the L1 season).

Now it said to be planning until the end of may 2018 (the season i am currently in), but now this season is finished as well, and he said constructions began to start on the youth + training ground, but no news on the stadium. When i look back in the boardroom section, it now says the new stadium is still planning, but now untill the seasons '2021'.......

Is this definite? Or will there still be a possibility of the chairman saying in the end of the next season (2019) that the plans are ready by then? Found it really odd that there is nothing said about it by anyone.

Nice work Daemonic, so close to 150 goals in a season, Bacardiboy i had something similar with the normal team I manage, Thurrock, but it was for a relaying of the pitch had to practically beg for it and then the planning stage took for ever kept being pushed back, I think it was a season and a half later planning was over and then it happened in a day, probably will a bit different for your stadium with the actual building process.
