hrbfcrule
April 2051 League: Tord 3-0 Skarhamn Rickard Persson (YP81) got us off to a great start with 2 goals in the 1st 10 mins. Axel Nordgren (YP71) added a 3rd in the 2nd half before Rickard Persson (YP81) missed a penalty that would have got him his hat trick. League: IK Sirius 1-2 Tord A tough game which we luckily won. Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) scored for us straight away but IK Sirius equalised just after half an hour. It looked like it was heading towards a draw but Rickard Persson (YP81) got the winner in the 95th min. League: Tord 1-1 IFK Goteborg This time we got off to a terrible start as Goteborg scored inside a minute. We struggled to recover as Eddie Rubin (YP72) equalised for us. Goteborg should have had this game wrapped up though. League: Syrainska FC 0-2 Tord Syrainska were tough to break down but when we did they fell apart. Axel Nordgren (YP71) broke the deadlock in the 73rd min and Rickard Persson (YP81) scored another in the 81st min.
hrbfcrule
May 2051 League: Tord 2-0 Vasteras SK Rickard Persson (YP81) was again on the scoresheet this time accompanied by Stefan Zhubi (YP76) as we recorded another league win. Could have had a lot more but chances were wasted. League: Vasby 1-1 Tord A disappointing draw, Rickard Persson (YP81) got our goal unsurprisingly. We failed to kill the game off with a 2nd and paid the price when Vasby equalised. Swedish Cup 3rd Round: Atvidaberg 2-4 Tord There's something about the cup that makes us really struggle. Should have been a relatively straight forward match but we conceded twice in the 1st 15 mins. I went more attacking and that seemed to do the trick. Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) got 1 back just before half time. Olle Andersson (YP84) scored a brace in the 2nd half and Rickard Persson (YP81) finished things off with our 4th. League: Tord 3-1 Atvidaberg We played them again in a matter of days. The outcome wasn't any different but we looked just as uncomfortable this time around. Atvidaberg netted against the run of play in the 1st half. In then took us until the 77th min to get level as we missed chance after chance. Axel Nordgren (YP71) levelled then Erik Fahlman (YP74) gave us the lead before Axel Nordgren (YP71) added a 3rd in injury time. Not all good news as Rickard Persson (YP81) went off injured for 5-6 weeks. League: Tord 0-0 Malmo FF How we didn't score in this match is beyond me. We dominated Malmo and should have won by at least a couple of goals.
hrbfcrule
June 2051 This was a disaster month as we were forced to play despite having 7 people off on internationals as well as 3 major injuries. We ended up playing the matches with just 15 players in the squad. League: Tord 3-0 Ramlosa Sodra Despite having a paper thin squad early goals from Phillip Nilsson (YP70), Oskar Svedberg (YP69) and Eddie Rubin (YP72) secured the win. As expected we faded as the game went on due to the lack of impact players on the bench. League: AIK 3-1 Tord Struggled to compete with our superior opponents. It was imperative we got off to a good start and we did as Karl Jawo (YP80) put us in the lead after 6 mins. We couldn't hold onto it though. An equaliser at the half hour mark really dented our confidence. Then 2 late goals gave AIK the win as our fatigue got the better of us. League: Assyriska 1-2 Tord We got a fantastic win considering the circumstances. Olle Andersson (YP84) gave us a deserved lead in the 1st half. Assyriska levelled 5 mins into the 2nd half but Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) grabbed a late winner in the 86th min.
hrbfcrule
July 2051 League: Tord 3-1 Helsingborg Adam Karlsson (YP65) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) got us off to a quick 2-0 lead. Helsingborg got 1 back just before the 30 min mark against the run of play. Axel Nordgren (YP71) then added a 3rd to make the points safe in the 2nd half. Swedish Cup 4th Round: Malmo FF 1-1p Tord Again we were dominant but struggled to score against Malmo. Extra time came and Malmo netted almost straight away. We went all out attack and it paid off eventually as Stefan Zhubi (YP76) equalised with 4 mins left of the match. This penalty shootout was a lot less depressing to watch as we came out 4-2 winners from the spot. League: Mjallby 1-0 Tord A very poor performance as we slump to a bad defeat. Mjallby scored in the 8th min and we just didn't do enough to try and get back into the game. League: Tord 3-0 Orebro A good reaction to our 2nd league loss, Rickard Persson (YP81), Stefan Zhubi (YP76) and Karl Jawo (YP80) all were on target in the 1st half. Would have liked us to pile on the misery in the 2nd half but 3 points is good enough. League: Tord 3-0 GAIS A 2nd 3-0 win in a row. Rickard Persson (YP81) again got us off the mark. Erik Fahlman (YP74) made it 2-0 midway through the 1st half. Eddie Rubin (YP72) made it 3-0 in the 2nd half, we could have had more but again 3 points is good enough. League: Skarhamn 0-4 Tord We added to Skarhamn's poor season as we demolished them at their home ground. Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Erik Fahlman (YP74) made it 2-0 at half time. Karl Jawo (YP80) made it 3-0 before an own goal completed the rout.
hrbfcrule
Just at the start of the month we got a new chairman: Of course no new investment not that we need it but thy did cancel our lnk with Roma which was pretty annoying. August 2051 Champions League Champions 3rd Qual Rnd 1st Leg: Lillestrom 1-2 Tord Rickard Persson (YP81) gave us the lead in the 8th min but it didn't last long as Lillestrom equalised 3 mins later. That was all the action from the 1st half but the 2nd half was much more end to end. Rickard Persson (YP81) gave us the upper hand in the tie with his 2nd goal of the game. There were plenty of scares along the way but they struggled to find the net. League: Tord 2-1 IK Sirius Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Rickard Risberg (YP86) scored our 2 goals in a very even match. IK Sirius were really unlucky not to come away with anything as they were the better team. Champions League Champions 3rd Qual Rnd 2nd Leg: Tord (2) 0-0 (1) Lillestrom Lillestrom came out all guns blazing in the 2nd leg but we held firm. We struggled to threaten their goal but we did enough to go through. In the Champions League IFK Goteborg managed a creditable home draw against Besiktas before succumbing to them away, losing 5-3 on aggregate. In the Euro Cup Syrianska eased past Neftci of Azerbaijan with 2 1-0 wins before beating Ulysses of Armenia 3-0 on aggregate. Malmo beat Dinamo Minsk 4-1 on aggregate to join Syrianska in the 4th Qualifying Round. League: IFK Goteborg 1-0 Tord IFK Goteborg were definately the better team and deserved the win. Unfortunately the win came in controversial circumstances as Goteborg were awarded not 1 but 2 dodgy penalties. They converted 1 to take the 3 points. Swedish Cup Quarter Final: Hacken 0-0p Tord We started the match with just 13 eligible players due to international call ups and injuries. Not the ideal time as we faced 5 matches in 14 days. We struggled all the way through this match until we just about scraped through on penalties. League: Tord 2-1 Syrianska Somehow we made it past Syrainska but again the opposition had the better time. Rickard Persson (YP81) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) both got goals as we limped past Syrainska. Champions League Champions Playoff 1st Leg: Buducnost 1-4 Tord A truly stunning performance considering we had no fully rested players and most of the starting 11 were around 70% condition. Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) got us off to a flyer as they both netted within the first 6 mins of the match. Rickard Persson (YP81) bagged a 2nd half brace and Buducnost grabbed a late consolation. However we had complete control of the tie and looked big favourites to get into the CL Groups. League: Vastaras SK 0-2 Tord We played well and deserved our win. After playing for a while without playing particularly well in the league it was nice to win and deserve it. Eddie Rubin (YP72) got both our goals. Champions League Champions Playoff 2nd Leg: Tord (7) 3-2 (3) Buducnost We completed our path to the groups with a relatively straight forward win which we made really difficult for ourselves. Olle Andersson (YP84) and Fredrik Eriksson (YP82) twice gave us the lead in the 1st half but both times Buducnost levelled. However a 3rd time was too much as Axel Nordgren (YP71) made sure of a double victory over the Montenegrans. It was disaster for other Swedish teams as all 4 failed to make the groups. All four were in the Euro Cup 4th Qualifying Round. IFK Goteborg went out 3-0 to Panathinaikos and Malmo went out to Dundee Utd by the same scoreline. IK Sirius drew the short straw when they got AC Milan but they did ok. Getting a 1-1 draw at home before losing 3-0 away. Syrianska had probably the best chance when they got paired up with Austria Wien. They won the home leg 2-1 but then lost the away leg 2-0.

hrbfcrule
Loving this career it's absolutely great. I know I'm being a bit blind but can I ask who the second international player was. Thanks, the 2nd player was Joakim Hjelm (YP73). He has made 6 appearances for Sweden but at the moment isn't Sweden's 1st choice keeper.
hrbfcrule
September 2051 League: Tord 2-0 Vasby A comfortable win, Axel Nordgren (YP71) scored the opening goal in the 36th min before a fantastic lob by Olle Andersson (YP84) made it 2-0 in injury time. League: Atvidaberg 1-2 Tord A close game which we probably just about deserved to win. Axel Nordgren (YP71) again opened the scoring and this time an own goal doubled our lead. We gifted Atvidaberg a way back into the match with a soft penalty but they couldn't make the most of it as we held on to the narrow victory. Champions League Group C: CSKA Moscow 2-0 Tord The easiest of our 3 opponents in the Champions League but we struggled to match them. The scoreline reflected the match fairly I feel, maybe we could have got on the scoreboard but CSKA definitely deserved the 3 points. League: Ramlosa Sodra 0-3 Tord Back to the league and another 3 easy points as we just about stay in front of the chasing IFK Goteborg. Rickard Persson (YP81), Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Stefan Zhubi (YP74) were all on target as we cruised past a lacklustre Ramlosa Sodra. League: Tord 1-0 AIK A much tougher game in the league but we upped our performance and nicked the 3 points in the final 15 mins of the match. Eddie Rubin (YP72) got the winner, it was a vital 3 points to keep us 3 points clear of our rivals.

hrbfcrule
October 2051 Swedish Cup Semi Final: Tord e3-2 IFK Goteborg A reasonably dull 1st half which livened up towards the end when Goteborg got a man sent off in the 40th min. This paved the way for a thrilling 2nd half. Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) took advantage of their 10 men when he found space in the area and was able to head home a cross in the 50th min. Against the run of play Goteborg scored twice in 5 mins to take a shock lead. We battered their defence but they held firm until the 80th min when Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) again found room and again scored to take the game to extra time. By this point Goteborg were desperately holding on for penalties but we were having none of it. Our pressure finally told when we forced them to put into their own net in the 105th min. This goal was enough to book or place in the final for the 2nd time in 2 years. Champions League Group C: Tord 1-4 PSG Due to a mixture of injuries, fatigue due to the extra time win 3 days ago and international duty we barely had enough 1st team players to make up a starting 11. The ones who did start were absolutely knackered by half time. Not that I'm making excuses or anything . We were soundly beaten by PSG our only consolation was Rickard Persson (YP81)'s goal in injury time. League: Malmo FF 0-1 Tord Another big match and another big performance. Just like the AIK match a few weeks ago we just about deserved to win and did so late in the 2nd half. Igor Pettersson (YP87) got his 1st goal for the club and what a time to get it. League: Tord 3-0 Assyriska A more straightforward victory. Rickard Persson (YP81) got us off the mark in the 22nd min then 10 mins later an own goal doubled or advantage. 2nd half was more of the same as we continued the domination. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) added a 3rd in the 79th min. We stay 3 points clear at the top of the table. Champions League Group C: Man Utd 5-0 Tord We received an absolute pasting from the English side. We never got near them in terms of performance and they thrashed us. We did have a few opportunities which on another day we would have scored. League: Helsingborg 1-0 Tord A shock loss to mid table Helsingborg. It opened the door for Goteborg to go level on points with us with 2 games to go but they went and lost 4-2 to IK Sirius. So we stay 3 points clear with 2 to play.
hrbfcrule
Cracking month dude . Thanks I think your players take literally the old LLaMa saying: (domestic) cups suck ass I go along with that too. £8,750 prize money for winning the final is just not worth it. Especially as it adds in games (which have the possibility of going to extra time) in the busiest months.
emgergo
Yeah, I remembered that it was something pathetic for a prize money from my (quite frequent) Swedish saves. I don't really remember times when I sent out an A-team before the semifinals, it was not worth the risk of injuries.

Yeah I don't bother with a 1st team before semi finals if I can help it but this year international (U21, U20, U19) fixtures have been at awful times resulting in me having to put out a relatively strong team for the Swedish Cup. hrbfcrule
November 2051 League: Tord 1-0 Mjallby We played well but without the 2nd goal we always left ourselves open to conceding and losing a couple of points. Eddie Rubin (YP72) got the only goal of the game as we edged our way ever closer to the title. We just needed to avoid defeat in the final game to guarantee another title. Champions League Group C: Tord 0-0 Man Utd A fantastic point against a top team and a much improved display over the last time we faced them. A win against CSKA next match would put us in a great position to go into the Euro Knockouts for the 3rd consecutive year. League: Orebro 0-2 Tord It took us a long time to break the deadlock and when it came it was thanks to a lucky decision from the ref. We were awarded a dubious penalty which Stefan Zhubi (YP76) converted. Rickard Persson (YP81) then sealed the victory and the title with our 2nd of the match. Swedish Cup Final: Tord 4-0 Hammarby TFF One of the most one sided final ever. We were up against a midtable side from the division below. Not only that but half their players were on international duty (so were ours) the only difference being that our missing players were reserves/2nd team players and theirs were key players. Not only that but for some reason the final was played at our home ground. As predicted we wiped the floor with them not only scoring 4 and creating plenty of chances but we also had 4 more goals disallowed. Rickard Persson (YP81) opened the scoring. An Eddie Rubin (YP72) 4 min brace put the game beyond doubt and Stefan Zhubi (YP76) sealed the win. Our 1st cup win in 15 years. Champions League Group C: Tord 1-1 CSKA Moscow How did we not win this match??? We had chance after chance but failed to take them. As predicted CSKA took the lead despite our dominance. We almost lost the match which would have been a travesty but Karl Jawo (YP80) rescued a point in the 84th min.
hrbfcrule
End of Season Report: IK Tord, Swedish Premier Division 2051 League Table, League Graph Squad We won the league by 3 points but Goteborg fought us right down to the final game of the season. Goteborg thrashed Syrianska on the final day but we kept our cool to beat Orebro and secure our 8th straight title. Team of the Year Swedish Super Cup A weakened team lost out to IFK Goteborg. Swedish Cup Fixtures Finally won it again for the 1st time in 15 years. We had some tough games along the way including Malmo and Goteborg. And some not so tough ties which we made difficult. The semi final against Goteborg felt like the real final as whoever won it would play either a 2nd tier team or a 3rd tier team. We edged them out 3-2 in extra time to set up a final with Hammarby TFF which we comfortably won. Europe Fixtures We lost the 1st leg of the 1st Round Knockout to Austria Wien but came back in the 2nd leg to win on away goals. We were then easily outclassed by PSG in the next round. In the Champions League we scraped past Lillestrom and swept away Buducnost to earn our place in the Champions League Group Stage. We suffered losses to CSKA, PSG and Man Utd in the 1st 3 games but have since recovered and earned 2 draws agains Man Utd and CSKA although we should have beaten CSKA. Champions League Table Reserves/U19's Reserve League Back to being dead last. U19 League So close last time. This time they managed to win it, comfortably as well. Youth Players (At the Club) Stefan Hedlund (YP64) - Came off the bench a lot and did reasonable. Adam Karlsson (YP65) - Had a much improved season maybe his time isn't up quite yet but would like a new central defender soon. Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) - Played a fair few games and did well, got a decent amount of goals including his double in the semi final of the Swedish Cup. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) - Didn't quite have the effectiveness in front of goal as he did last season but was still solid at the back. Also earned the Swedish Defender of the Year Award which he had won previously back in 2045. Phillip Nilsson (YP70) - Had another average season, he's only 28 so I am hoping he isn't past his best already. Axel Nordgren (YP71) - Was much improved but did have to overcome a few injures this season. Eddie Rubin (YP72) - Not as good as previous seasons, hope he gets back to his usual high standard next season. Joakin Hjelm (YP73) - Had a few injuries but played well especially in the league. Erik Fahlman (YP74) - Consistent again, won't produce anything spectacular but always reliable. Stefan Zhubi (YP76) - Incredible season, broke his own club record of 18 assists with his 20 assists this season. Also broke the record of number of assists in 1 season in the Swedish Cup, he got 7. Andreas Svensson (YP78) - Great season for the defensive mid, solid as ever. Karl Jawo (YP80) - Not as prolific as last season but put in some handy performances. Rickard Persson (YP81) - Struggled with injuries this season but when he played he played well. 20 goals in 41 appearances is a fantastic ratio. Fredrik Eriksson (YP82) - Rated 1 star but he plays to an exceptional standard. Niclas Wennberg (YP83) - Rated as 4 star and played just a bit better than Fredrik Eriksson (YP82). Olle Andersson (YP84) - Had his moments but I doubt he will get his chances here, may have to leave. Sven Hagman (YP85) - Played a few games due to injuries to Joakim Hjelm (YP73). Did well so may get a few games each season to keep him happy here as he is clearly a competent back up. Rickard Risberg (YP86) - Improved at a decent rate, another couple of seasons and he'll be a quality DM/RB. Igor Petersson (YP87) - Played well in the league in his handful of appearances, cup games were pretty poor. Johan Nilsson (YP88) - Played well in his few appearances especially in the league. Retiring Players Albin Carlsson (YP55) League History A great defender over his incredible 22 seasons at the club. He obviously will be asked to stay on, probably as fitness coach. It was a shame his performance dropped off rapidly in the last few seasons but it still was a fantastic career. 370 League Apearances and over 500 in all competitions. I know but if you get that youth recruitment up a couple of times more and up your rep you should be able to get a starting XI and a few rotation players good enough for CL knockouts. Rep is the key word as the players you'll work with will be better and will let you get your recruitment up.

hrbfcrule
You picked up a cracking couple of points in Europe. Nice work on winning the league again too. Thanks, league continues to get tougher so next season should be very close. I know but if you get that youth recruitment up a couple of times more and up your rep you should be able to get a starting XI and a few rotation players good enough for CL knockouts.Rep is the key word as the players you'll work with will be better and will let you get your recruitment up. Yep, will take a while to slowly push my rep up so the board allow me to upgrade the youth recruitment.
hrbfcrule
December 2051 Champions League Group C: PSG 2-2 Tord A fantastic game, we pushed PSG all the way and in the end could have quite easily won it. It was also a special occasion for me as it was my 1500th game for Tord. The lads seemed to up their performance just for me . Twice they took the lead and twice we came back almost immediately to keep the pressure on PSG. Karl Jawo (YP80) got our 1st equaliser in the 16th min 4 mins after they opened the scoring. They took the lead just before half time but 4 mins into the 2nd half Igor Petersson (YP87) scored our 2nd. We had a few clear chances to nick the match at the end but were unable to do so. A great way to end what turned out to be a decent campaign.

gogogo golem
That Tord vs. Tord thing is a common bug and those three draws were well earned but if you'd won against Moscow you'd still be in Europe.

You ended with three very positive results in Europe. Well done dude . That Tord vs. Tord thing is a common bug and those three draws were well earned but if you'd won against Moscow you'd still be in Europe. Yer we did have some good results in the last few games but in the end we really should have progressed into the Euro Cup. Excellent read. hrbfcrule
March 2052 We had the better of the 1st half but didn't deserve to be 2-0 up at the break, especially considering we only had 1 shot on target. That shot was from Rickard Persson (YP81) in the 28th min to give us a 1-0 lead. That lead was quickly doubled 5 mins later through an own goal. IFK Gotborg turned the tables in the 2nd half as they got the better of us. However they couldn't score from their few chances so we claimed the Super Cup for the 7th time. The injuries we got throughout the game became a bit of a theme for us over the next few months. League: IK Sirius 0-1 Tord A tough start to the league but in the end an Adam Karlsson (YP65) header in the 8th min was enough to win it. I don't know how it was because there were so many chances in the game. Both team's finishing were extremely poor. League: Tord 1-0 Mjallby A decent-ish performance, we completely shut Mjallby out but struggled in front of goal. We got lucky as an own goal gifted us the 3 points. League: Vasteras SK 0-3 Tord A much improved display in front of goal. Rickard Persson (YP81) bagged a brace and Stefan Hedlund (YP64) got the other. Another clean sheet as well. hrbfcrule
April 2052 League: Tord 1-0 Assyriska A struggling home performance. We were the better team but we really should have scored more. Assyriska almost made us pay for our poor finishing but our keeper was on top form to deny them. Rickard Persson (YP81) again got our goal to continue our winning streak. League: Hammarby Fotboll 0-2 Tord We continue to perform well away from home. Hammarby didn't even have a shot let alone score. Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) and Stefan Zhubi (YP76) scored our goals in a completely dominant performance. League: Tord 2-1 Vasalund Another struggle at home. We had more chances but Vasalund had the better ones. Rickard Persson (YP81) and Oskar Svedberg (YP69) scored our goals. Then Vasalund got the goal they deserved in the 89th min, the 1st one we have conceded this season. There wasn't enough time for an equaliser so we kept up our winning streak. League: Tord 3-0 GAIS A convincing home display. GAIS had a few periods of dominance but overall we looked good for our win. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) and Rickard Persson (YP81) scored early goals for us. Then Stefan Zhubi (YP76) added a 3rd in 2nd half injury time. League: Malmo FF 2-2 Tord Our 1st dropped points, understandable considering we were away to Malmo but unforgivable considering we were 2-0 up at half time. Axel Nordgren (YP71) had struck twice in 4 mins despite it being an even 1st half. The 2nd half again was even but this time Malmo had the goal threat. They scored 6 mins into the half then grabbed an equaliser in the 87th min.

hrbfcrule
Thanks guys. May 2052 League: Tord 2-0 Helsingborg We continued our great start with a good win over Helsingborg. Helsingborg failed to test our keeper all match while at the other end we were peppering them with shots. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) put us 1-0 up after just 18 mins. Then in the 2nd half Stefan Hedlund (YP64) doubled our lead before Stefan Zhubi (YP76) could have made it 3 had he not missed a penalty late on. League: Orebro 1-1 Tord A tough match, we struggled to make an impact and in the end a draw was fair. They took the lead early on but Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) pegged them back almost immediately. After that it was pretty uneventful as it became a real midfield battle. League: Tord 2-0 Syrianska FC Our 1st of 2 encounters against them. We quickly raced into a 2 goal lead as Rickard Persson (YP81) scored after 34 seconds. Stefan Hedlund (YP64) got the 2nd just 4 mins later. Unfortunately we couldn't add to our great start but a 2-0 win is good enough. Swedish Cup 3rd Round: Tord 2-2p Syrianska FC Put out a 2nd string team who put on a much worse display. Syrianska took the lead but goals from Oskar Svedberg (YP69) and Rickard Persson (YP81) put us 2-1 at half time. Unfortunately Syrianska equalised towards the end of normal time as we tired. Extra time was uneventful so it went to penalties. We both scored 4 from our 1st 5 and then we missed and they scored as we went out of the cup. League: AIK 2-1 Tord Two goals in 7 mins in the 1st half killed it for us. We tried to get back in the game in the 2nd half. Despite Olle Andersson (YP84) getting a goal back just past the hour mark we couldn't get an equaliser. Our 1st league loss of the season. League: Tord 1-0 IFK Goteborg We recovered well to see off a strong Goteborg challenge. Rickard Persson (YP81) got the only goal of the game 10 mins from time. June 2052 League: Atvidaberg 0-1 Tord We outplayed them all match but it took a red card for us to finally score. Anders Svensson (YP78) got sent off in the 85th min then 4 mins later Oskar Swardh (YP89) headed home the winner to deservedly give us the 3 points. hrbfcrule
July 2052 League: Tord 4-3 IK Sirius A fantastic game. An Eddie Rubin (YP72) brace as well as a Karl Jawo (YP80) strike put us into a 3-0 advantage after just 30 mins. IK Sirius gave themselves hope by getting a goal back before half time. Olle Andersson (YP84) restored our 3 goal advantage just after half time. 2 late IK Sirius goals made it nervy times towards the end but we hung on for a great victory. League: Mjallby 0-1 Tord We struggled to break Mjallby down but again we were saved by a late goal. This time Erik Fahlman (YP74) netted for us in the 82nd min. League: Tord 3-1 Kalmar FF Late goals came to the rescue again. Rickard Persson (YP81) gave us the lead but we were unable to adda 2nd goal. Kalmar took advantage as they equalised against the run of play in the 71st min. Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Karl Jawo (YP80) scored in the 84th and 92nd min respectively. Champions League Champions 3rd Qual 1st Leg: Dinamo Tbilisi 0-2 Tord Our Champions League campaign got under way with a comfortable 2-0 away win. Rickard Persson (YP81) got both goals before half time to give us a huge advantage going into the 2nd leg.

hrbfcrule
August 2052 League: Tord 2-0 Vasteras SK A comfortable home victory. Rickard Persson (YP81) gave us the lead in the 65th min. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) made it 2-0 in the 90th min. Vasteras never troubled our end of the pitch. Champions League Champions 3rd Qual 2nd Leg: Tord (5) 3-0 (0) Dinamo Tbilisi We completed the comfortable victory over Dinamo Tibilisi. 2nd half goals from Oskar Swardh (YP89), Oskar Svedberg (YP69) and Stefan Hedlund (YP64) saw us easily into the next round. Elsewhere IFK Goteborg drew 0-0 away to Olympiakos before thumping them 3-1 at home in the Champions League Best Placed 3rd Qual Rnd. In the Euro Cup 2nd Qual Rnd Hammarby TFF lost on penalties to IA of Iceland after drawing 2-2 on aggregate. In the Euro Cup 3rd Qual Rnd IK Sirius beat Young Boys on away goals after winning 1-0 at home and losing 2-1 away. League: Assyriska 0-0 Tord Our European hangover, we were the better team but struggled to create good chances. Assyriska never even managed a shot as the game fizzled out into a boring 0-0. League: Tord 1-0 Hammarby Fotboll Anders Svensson (YP78) scored a 2nd min goal which was enough for the 3 points. Hammarby put up a surprisingly good fight and had a few good chances to nick a point as we had failed to put the game to bed. Champions League Champions Playoff 1st Leg: Dinamo Bucharest 4-3 Tord On the wrong end of a 7 goal thriller this time. The game was completely even but Dinamo Bucharest made the most of their chances. Dinamo went 1-0 up in the 21st min but we hit back instantly with Rickard Persson (YP81). Things took a turn for the worst when Oskar Svedberg (YP69) got injured in the 40th min. We then conceded twice in 3 mins just before half time to put us firmly on the back foot. I rejigged things at half time and it seemed to work as Rickard Persson (YP81) got his 2nd and Eddie Rubin (YP72) netted to make it 3-3 with 20 mins remaining. Unfortunately Dinamo took one last chances they grabbed their 4th in the 82nd min. League: Vasalund 3-3 Tord Another European hangover and another goalfest. Vasalund took the lead 3 times but we came back 3 times, the last being in the 89th min. Olle Andersson (YP84), Rickard Risberg (YP86) and Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) got our goals. Champions League Champions Playoff 2nd Leg: Tord (3) 0-1 (5) Dinamo Bucharest A shock loss since we were unlucky to lose narrowly to them in the away leg. It was just one of those games. We did everything but score and inevitably with their only half chance they netted. Into the Euro Cup we go. IFK Goteorg did the unthinkable and actually maade it to the Champions League Group Stages from the Best Placed part of the draw. They unluckily lost 1-0 at home to Genoa but then got their own slice of luck by beating them 1-0 away and then beating them on penalties. In the Euro Cup Malmo FF lost 5-3 to Besiktas but IK Sirius comfortably beat Sparta to join us in the Euro Cup Groups. League: GAIS 1-3 Tord We didn't play our usual standard but we still deserved to win. Stefan Zhubi (YP76) put us 1-0 up from the penalty spot just before half time. GAIS levelled 10 mins into the 2nd half. A late show from Karl Jawo (YP80) and Rickard Persson (YP81) gave us a 3-1 win. In the Champions League IFK Goteborg drew Dinamo Kyiv, PSG and Napoli in their group.
hrbfcrule
September 2052 Th 4th Tord player to be called up to the Sweden squad and deservedly so: League: Helsingborg 1-1 Tord Helsingborg took the lead but Axel Nordgren (YP71) equalised soon after. We should have got a winner in the 2nd half but we were having a bad day in front of goal. Euro Cup Group J: Metalist 1-2 Tord A brilliant way to get the Group Stage underway. Admittedly Metalist are the weakest team of the group but away matches are always tough. We got off to a terrible start as we conceded in the 2nd min and they almost made it 2-0 after 10 mins but they missed from the spot. That helped kick us into life and eventually we got ourselves into the game. Rickard Persson (YP81) and Phllip Nilsson (YP70) scored early 2nd half to get us off to a perfect start in the group. League: Tord 2-0 Orebro 3 more points to edge us ever closer to another title. Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Oskar Swardh (YP89) with the goals against mid table Orebro. League: Tord 2-0 Malmo FF A brilliant performance against 2nd place Malmo. We fully deserved the win, Erik Fahlman (YP74) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) got the goals. hrbfcrule
October 2052 Euro Cup Group J: Tord 0-1 Inter Milan A fantastic performance at home to Italian giants Inter Milan. We were so close and so unlucky not to get a point, an own goal in the 60th min was enough to lose us the match. League: Syrianska FC 1-3 Tord Rickard Persson (YP81) gave us the lead in the 20th min which Stefan Zhubi (YP76) doubled in the 40th min from the penalty spot. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) made it 3-0 early in the 2nd half as we eased to victory. Syrianska got a consolation late on but the victory was ours. League: Tord 1-1 AIK We played them off the park in the 1st half but only managed the 1 goal. Rickard Risberg (YP86) got the goal but we should and could have had more. In the end our missed chances cost us as AIK grabbed an equaliser in the 90th min. Euro Cup Group J: Zenit 2-3 Tord What a fantastic result considering our disappointment last time out in Europe. We struggled early on but had a brilliant finish to the 1st half. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) and Rickard Persson (YP81) put us 2-0 up at half time, maybe undeservedly so given our performance. In the 2nd half we played much better but an early goal from Zenit really knocked us and the match could have gone horribly off course from there. However we hit back straight away, Adam Karlsson (YP65) restoring our 2 goal advantage again. We conceded again with 25 mins left but sensationally hung on to claim a priceless victory. If this wasn't brilliant enough news we also managed to mathematically win the league while playing this match as our nearest rivals Malmo could only draw thus making our position un-catchable with 3 games remaining. League: IFK Goteborg 2-1 Tord I decided to give the 1st team a rest after their heroics in Russia. Unfortunately we narrowly lost out to Goteborg but a decent performance all round. Erik Fahlman (YP74) got out goal but in the end Goteborg were too strong for us.
hrbfcrule
November 2052 League: Tord 1-0 Atvidaberg An easy win although I would have preferred more goals. Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) scored our goal in the 86th min. We had plenty of chances before that but we were poor in front of goal. Euro Cup Group J: Tord 1-1 Zenit So unlucky not to win. We dominated them for the 1st 80 mins of the match with Rickard Persson (YP81) rightly giving us the lead. However we switched off in the last few mins and Zenit punished us with their only shot on target. League: Kalmar FF 4-4 Tord A brilliant way to end the season although we should have won it easily. It was against already relegated Kalmar, things seemed to be going to plan as Olle Andersson (YP84) and Erik Fahlman (YP75) put us 2-0 up within the opening 10 mins. However we capitulated and conceded 3 goals before half time despite looking comfortable moments ago. Had a right go at the lads at half time which seemed to buck them up as we retook the lead through goals from Oskar Swardh (YP89) and Axel Nordgren (YP71). However we surrended the lead again in the 87th min as Kalmar scraped a draw. Bafflng how we conceded 4 in a game we should have had complete control over.
