Eleanor_Rigby
The actual stadium itself doesn't. In fact, I'd say it was more Lochend than ER. However. that's by the by as Easter Road has always been part of Edinburgh and has never once been part of Leith.

pandaLUFC
Would have if it was on a Saturday - would have thought there'd be far more trains from Glasgow to Newcaslte considering the bastarding border hopping that goes on over the weekend. Will be going to the final though /glory
stevethedog
Final will be a mare to get tickets providing we get through. Was a decent enough game for a 0-0. Damon Gray is someone I'm pretty excited about hope he gets more shots in the near future. Fletch is getting a hard time for that miss from Broonie's cut back but Sheilds actually made a fb block on it. Whats the thoughts on the Brellier to Hibs rumours? Obviously it's very unlikely as how could we afford him but it does seem to be gathering a little momentum. Some are actually saying we shouldn't want him
tamtheman
Someone on "the bounce" posted saying that they had been planning to start the rumour on hibs.net for ages. It seems that some journo has read the messageboard and put it in the paper. Really lazy journalism, but what do you expect in scotland?
stevethedog
Ah well, shame Aberdeen game was mental, great game plenty to see and our reserves done a smashing job! Can't wait to see more of Damon Gray, not been this excited about a player since O'Connor was coming through. Don't think Lynch's was a red. Good stuff from Deano, interesting celebration, he's clearly still got some issues. Big one on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old has impressed in a defensive midfield role as he bids for his ultimate dream of donning a Barca shirt. Kingston is enjoying his team at Hearts but hopes by 2010 he will be running out at the Camp Nou week in, week out. "I've not changed my plans, not at all. I'm still playing, I'm in good form and I'm trying to work towards that dream - Barcelona," he told Russia's Sports magazine. "Many years ago I promised myself before the end of my football career I'd play for the best team in the best league. I am working very hard to achieve that and asking God to help me. Eleanor_Rigby
Watched the game again last night and there's no way that was a penalty. East coast bias methinks. Yet again Kingston stood out I fully understand that Celtic had the title wrapped up and had nothing whatsoever to play for, but that has to go down as one of the worst Celtic performances that I've witnessed in recent years, especially at CP. No fight, no desire and no heart to play for the jersey whatsoever. A bit similar to what we ourselves have witnessed at Tynie this year. Even Hibs would have given them the once over. Jambo
I have no idea if you're being sarcastic or not? pandaLUFC
For a pre-season, non-competetive friendly. Jesus Christ, it just screams weak ambition. Surely you won't sell Murrayfield out at those prices? Should be £5 kids and £10 adults for any friendly, in my opinion.

pandaLUFC
Barring the fact that Aberdeen bot Fergie, it's important for Scottish football to see Hearts in Europe - they do, at least, have some financial horsepower which boosts Scotland's chances of a greater coefficient. stevethedog
But they aren't really going to get a chance to see Barcelona are they as they aren't going to CP. Eleanor_Rigby
Hearts can go f**k themselves if they think I'm paying that for a friendly. Eto'o or not, it's a fecking rip off. The only way Romanov will recoup the cash and more is if Hearts get around 45 - 50 thousand turning up. And for those prices i don't think so.
stevethedog
You really have to charge normal rates for adults to recoup the million and make it worth your while though. £1M + hire of Murrayfield and all the police/stewards is going to cost a pretty buck. £10 a ticket x 70,000 = hefty loss. Have no idea how Dundee U are doing it, they probably got a big discount because of the clubs relationship.
Eleanor_Rigby
Maybe it would have been better if VR had told them to f**k off in the first place. Ok, let say he's under the notion that a game like this will help enhance our profile somewhat, which then leads me on to this question - Who the hell on here can remember who Barca played last season on their pre season tour? No one remembers pre seasons other than the fans that turn up, so it's not exactly going to leave a lasting impression on European fitba
