Final will be a mare to get tickets providing we get through.

Was a decent enough game for a 0-0. Damon Gray is someone I'm pretty excited about hope he gets more shots in the near future.

Fletch is getting a hard time for that miss from Broonie's cut back but Sheilds actually made a fb block on it.

Whats the thoughts on the Brellier to Hibs rumours? Obviously it's very unlikely as how could we afford him but it does seem to be gathering a little momentum.

Some are actually saying we shouldn't want him icon_biggrin.gif

Someone on "the bounce" posted saying that they had been planning to start the rumour on hibs.net for ages. It seems that some journo has read the messageboard and put it in the paper. Really lazy journalism, but what do you expect in scotland?

Ah well, shame icon_biggrin.gif

Aberdeen game was mental, great game plenty to see and our reserves done a smashing job!

Can't wait to see more of Damon Gray, not been this excited about a player since O'Connor was coming through.

Don't think Lynch's was a red. Good stuff from Deano, interesting celebration, he's clearly still got some issues.

Big one on Tuesday.

Funny this...10 years ago, Jim McIntyre scored a Scottish cup semi final replay winner 4 mins from the end , the score being 1-0.

And that was after a 0-0 draw in the first game too icon_eek.gif

His team went on to win the cup...An omen if ever i saw one.

GIRUY icon_mad.gif

You're foregetting all the omens that were going to lead Falkirk to victory that fateful day in '97. Feck off omens and feck of Fifers in Europe. icon_frown.gif

Wouldn't be suprised if more turn up for the U19s cup final on Thursday.

From what I saw of the highlights, Hibs were robbed. Shiels' penalty shout far more valid than Dunfermline's.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Hearts midfielder Laryea Kingston is determined to play for Barcelona at some point in his career.

Kingston is on loan at Tynecastle from Lokomotiv Moscow and could join The Jambos permanently in the summer.

The 26-year-old has impressed in a defensive midfield role as he bids for his ultimate dream of donning a Barca shirt.

Kingston is enjoying his team at Hearts but hopes by 2010 he will be running out at the Camp Nou week in, week out.

"I've not changed my plans, not at all. I'm still playing, I'm in good form and I'm trying to work towards that dream - Barcelona," he told Russia's Sports magazine.

"Many years ago I promised myself before the end of my football career I'd play for the best team in the best league. I am working very hard to achieve that and asking God to help me.

"Of course, I can't say exactly when it will happen but I'm convinced that by 2010, or maybe a year earlier, I'll be playing for a super club. That is the deadline I've set myself." </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Just saw that as well. At least he has some sort of ambition outside the OF like other players. Tbh it wouldn't surprise me if he managed to move to a big team in a few years although Barca may be pushing it just a bit Larry icon_biggrin.gif

Watched the game again last night and there's no way that was a penalty. icon_biggrin.gif East coast bias methinks.

Yet again Kingston stood out icon14.gif

I fully understand that Celtic had the title wrapped up and had nothing whatsoever to play for, but that has to go down as one of the worst Celtic performances that I've witnessed in recent years, especially at CP. No fight, no desire and no heart to play for the jersey whatsoever. A bit similar to what we ourselves have witnessed at Tynie this year.

Even Hibs would have given them the once over.

I take it he came on as sub at HT as he never kicked a ball (well apart from that shot, if you can call it that) in the 1st half. icon_confused.gif

oh yas Hearts have announced they are to play Barca at Murrayfield on 28th July. Part of Barca's Capital One Tour which binds them to play their first team as well.

Tickets between £20 and £30

I have no idea if you're being sarcastic or not? Prices are more than fair imo, how often are we going to get to see that type of team in the near future?

Hibs are playing Boro the same day so we'll be able to compare prices for the 2 games.

Celtic played Barca in the CL and the bottom price was £25, looks a rip-off to me for a friendly.

But they aren't really going to get a chance to see Barcelona are they as they aren't going to CP.

I'll maybe even go along to that one and throw some pig heads on the pitch to fit in. Bummer if it's same night as hibs friendly though.

Hearts can go f**k themselves if they think I'm paying that for a friendly. Eto'o or not, it's a fecking rip off.

The only way Romanov will recoup the cash and more is if Hearts get around 45 - 50 thousand turning up. And for those prices i don't think so.

You really have to charge normal rates for adults to recoup the million and make it worth your while though.

£1M + hire of Murrayfield and all the police/stewards is going to cost a pretty buck. £10 a ticket x 70,000 = hefty loss.

Have no idea how Dundee U are doing it, they probably got a big discount because of the clubs relationship.

Maybe it would have been better if VR had told them to f**k off in the first place.

Ok, let say he's under the notion that a game like this will help enhance our profile somewhat, which then leads me on to this question - Who the hell on here can remember who Barca played last season on their pre season tour?

No one remembers pre seasons other than the fans that turn up, so it's not exactly going to leave a lasting impression on European fitba
