(Infact, IIRC, only 1 person does.) Also, players get -(Minus) points too, so perhaps they could have had S. They were a bit lower league too, (Wigan, West Ham, Bolton, Blackburn, Brum) - so not many people had players from those squads in the teams. (Most players are from the Big 4 teams + A. NepentheZ Posted April 3, 2008 Author Share Posted April 3, 2008 Update As robert was the first to rudely interrupt me, I'll mention his embarrassing week. 9 points from the poor excuse as a Manager, in a week where every team played. In the overall charts, he was the biggest loser dropping a massive 13 places after his 9 points scored. To cap off the Hall of Shame this week was Dafuge and Ridleys who both took a 6 place plunge, leaving Ridleys only just above 5ergio (aka Whats Football?) The biggest winner on the overall charts was gazthadood jumping 14 huge places, with a great week. His excellent appointment of captaincy is the root to his success, after Didier Drogba hit a Hat-Trick, earning him 25 points total earned Gaz a 50 point boost from 1 player. 50 points from 1 player, in 1 hit, yet 5ergio has only just managed that all season. other winners were J. Mathews \o/ @ the name and MikeLUFC both taking 10 place leaps. Problemchild finds himself knocked off his pretty little perch, after a stonking performance by JoseRR, moving up 4 to take top spot. 7 players have hit the 100 point mark already, although none of those are self proclaimed FF Winner Dafuge, who only managed to get 26 points from his Jeff Stelling OAP's. JoseRR and Problemchild are running away with the game so far, but with a bit of luck, a natural disaster and all the super powers from the Fantastic 4, WhoopyD could easily take this. Weekly, JoseRR got a massive 78 points, with Gaz and PC finishing the top 3 off nicely, with bumper scores of 65 and 58, respectively. Players Fernando Torres, a favourite from some of you as captain really earned his wage this week, after a -6 points. As mentioned earlier, Drogba was not only the pick of the Strikers, but overall, after a Hat-Trick helped him to a 25 point bonanza. 2 Paul Scholes goals, and Ashley Youngs goal, assist and MotM means they sit atop the midfielders table. Nikey Shorey is still defying all odds, by sitting 7 clear at the top of the defenders list, and this has caused a stirring in F.A's headquaters, after he passed 3 drugs tests in 3 days, to see how the player could actually be playing well for a small club. His club were fined £250,000, mainly because the F.A wanted a pi$$ up, but also due to "Negligence of players who aren't Shorey" Scott Carsen is the Hero GK, as west ham's new Blue kit is fast getting them mistaken for Chelsea, and the clean sheets keep rolling in. - in other news Managers "Walcotts_Wonderkids" and "Birdy_123" have a fight on the pitch, after a female streaker, (Birdys wife) was seen winking Walcott mid-streak. Birdy's Player K. Doyle did try to stop Mr's Birdy, but a stray breast cleared him from her path, leaving the Striker in hospital with concussion, explaining the players absence of points this week. It takes so long to do a report, people have just forgotten. I expected some people to disappear, but not this many. Thing is, all the "regulars" on the forum, well, most of them at least, haven't taken part in this. Then theres a whole load of people whose names I've seen once or twice, and they've never even posted after posting the team. Starting to feel a little bit like a waste of time. Of the 26 teams registered, the only posters I see on this forum now are... It's just not worth it when that happens. If I had 20 people who were serious about being involved in something like this, I'd be honored to do it. Thats the 1 problem with the "community" feel about this forum. People don't feel too welcome all the time. If something like this was in OTF of GQ, I'm pretty sure it would be much more successful. People just need to follow the few basic rules there are when creating sign-ups/challenges, and everything is fine. I understand where you're coming from, though. This forum has a few users that are here almost every day. It's been like that since day one. There is a larger group of regular posters now though, compared to when this forum started. I'm waffling :/ What still happens is that people sign-up to a sign-up, and simply forget that they have done, or just stop logging into the forum.
