Ok. If anyone else thinks that the updates could be missing something if they are done this way please feel free to stay.

And remember all transfer news etc will be done in the transfer discussion thread.

And also I might add more to the storyline tommorow...

First league match coming up so I'll turn the PSP off now until tonight when more users will be online. How should we chose the team? Should I write out a list of players and then you guys come up with different formations etc and tactics?

Should we do that in this thread or not?

Ridley99: Well then lads, a good first half to the season.

Scottc18: Yeah pretty decent.

Ism-scfc: Bloody awesome.

jens_dewit: So then shall we look at the stats.

jjsreading1: Yeah I think so, Ridley99 care to do the honours and send us the link.

Ridley99: www.freepor...*

jjsreading1: No not that one, the football one.

Ridley99: Ah, okay. www.footballstats.com**

_______________

Football stats - Stockport (half season)

League position: 8th

Top scorer: Oli Johnson 7

Key games

Leeds 0-2 Stockport

What a win for the visitors. They played wonderful football and looked really up for it. Greg Tansey gave them a 4th minute lead and the home side were shocked and they never really got into the game after that. Phil Jevons added a second for the visitors in a memorable win.

Stockport 2-0 Southampton

Another memorable win for County as they hammered the Saints. Carl Baker got them off to a flyer thanks to a long range strike. Phil Jevons added a second and County were well on their way to a great victory in front of their fans.

Cups

FA Cup 2nd Round - Lost 2-1 v Swindon

League Cup 1st Rohnd - Lost 1-0 v Norwich

Johnstone Paint Northern Final - 1st and 2nd leg v MK Dons - Yet to be played

Great start. Jevons seems a great signing. Two important goals in important games there

I dunno who?

*****

I think I need to do a special update because of our cup run.

Johnstone's paint North Final Leg 2

(MK Dons are winning 1-0 on aggregate.)

The game was quiet until half time and it looked like our wembley dream was over, it looked like we were going to be knocked out. But in the 80th minute January signing Jack Midson fired home to draw us level and send the match to penalties.

Jack Midson stepped up and scored our 1st pen.

Sean O'Hanlon scored the MK Dons 1st pen also.

Carl Baker smashed home our 2nd pen.

Jabo Ibhere also scored their 2nd pen.

Gary Liddle scored our 3rd pen.

Jemal Johnson misses the target!

Oli Johnson scores his effort.

Sam Baldock also scores.

Heart ache Michael Raynes misses - Sudden death?

No - MK Dons miss their last penalty.

We're all going to Wembly! We're all going to Wembley!

Great run to reach Wembley

Will you do a full report on the Wembley game? Who are we playing? And why were MK Dons in the Northern section?
