ReddaJoppe
How exactly are player ratings calculated for a match? Or is it a secret or something? I ask because one of my players (CB) got a 6, can't really see exactly what he did wrong.
santy001
Well really a 6.5 - 7.5 is really an average rating I'd say. Didn't do anything really wrong, didn't do anything spectacular either. A small error or two may result in that rating - it may not have caused a goal which is why it didn't take as big a chunk away, but he still failed to pick up his man or passed it away too often or something. Lankylars
I would say that a 6.8 is an average rating, for nothing outstanding. I consider a 7.0 to be a good display. 7.5 is definitely a good show, IMO. When my players get 6.0s something is wrong, could be giving up too many passes, losing the man they were marking, anything. What I mean is if there is some kind of mathematical formula that calculates the ratings based on passes completed, key passes, tackles, key tackles, headers won, key headers, shots, shots on goal, goals, assist etc.
craigcwwe
yeah id say a rating of 6.5/7.5 is the average.
Blanchflower1
What if the rating is a perfect 10? Does that mean the player is responsible for all of the goals? And what does it mean if the rating is 0 or 0.1?
lucatonix
10 just means that the player has scored/assisted loads of goals.
SWaRFeGa
What if the rating is a perfect 10? Does that mean the player is responsible for all of the goals? And what does it mean if the rating is 0 or 0.1? I had Pavylechenko get a 10.0 in a pre-season friendly where he scored 7 goals out of 8.
