Administrators Philip Rolfe Posted March 17, 2008 Author Administrators Share Posted March 17, 2008 Been meaning to do some Lampard stats with and without him this season, did so yesterday.
P W D L F A FGPG AGPG Win% Pts % With 30 20 8 2 60 18 2.00 0.60 66.7% 77.0% Without 18 11 4 3 22 12 1.22 0.66 61.1% 68.5%
With includes Comm Shield, where there were no points on offer (67 points from potential 87 in that case) Obviously it's a rather insular scope that doesn't take into account other players missing or opponents but on the basic level we don't score as much, we concede more, we win less and drop more points without Lampard in our team. Some of the drops are massive - goals and points %age particularly - and could easily be the difference at the end of the season. He makes such a difference. Legend. bridgekings
FA Youth Cup update: 2-1 up after going 1-0 down. Tejera and Kakuta with the goals, both brilliant. Defence and Rhys Taylor in goal look very shaky however.
bridgekings
And no Ballack in the starting line up tonight: 23 Carlo Cudicini 20 Paulo Ferreira 6 Ricardo Carvalho 26 John Terry © 3 Ashley Cole 5 Michael Essien 4 Claude Makelele 8 Frank Lampard 10 Joe Cole 15 Didier Drogba 21 Salomon Kalou Substitutes: 40 Hilario, 33 Alex, 13 Michael Ballack, 24 Shaun Wright-Phillips, 7 Andriy Shevchenko. TheRandomGuy
Spurs starting with the same XI from the Carling Cup final. No idea if thats just co-incidence but I thought Dawson and Huddlestone were ahead of King and Zokora in the "pecking order".

Poyplemonkeys
Excellent tackle from Lampard there. Toes the ball away from Jenas and Drogba really should've given it him back for a fairly easy goal. Jenas slightly injured in the tackle too which only makes it better imo. Some hefty tackles flying in now. hahaha, Ashley Cole being a right twat That was pretty funny. Riley wants to book him so he just turns his back, points at his name on the shirt and refuses to turn around Keane booked for moaning too Game kicking off now.
Poyplemonkeys
Never a red card anyway imo, he was being a twat after so could've been booked twice but once he realised he wasn't getting the ball he tried to pull his foot back.
