bjoggi33 Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Name: Hélder Barbosa DOB: 25.5.1987 (21yo) POB: Paredes, Portugal Position: AML Heigt: 172 cm Weight: 66 kg A product of FC Porto's youth ranks, Barbosa made his first division debut in the last day of 2005-06, with the northeners already crowned champions: he played the second half of a 1-1 away derby against Boavista FC, and was sent off in the last minute. From 2006-08, Barbosa was loaned to fellow league side Académica de Coimbra, but was recalled by Porto in mid-January 2008, to make up for the loss of Tarik Sektioui, whom was called-up by Morocco to the African Cup of Nations. He served another loan in 2008-09, to lowly newcomers CD Trofense, notably scoring against SL Benfica, in an historical 2-0 home win.
