Boiiing
He's a youth whose contract is about to expire, and to be honest his attributes look like he's not really worth keeping on: <a href="http://imgur.com/yKICyC3"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/yKICyC3.jpg" title="Adam Cooke" /></a> But... 21 goals in 24 games this season - admittedly under-18s games, but that's his level at the moment - is not to be sniffed at. Have you ever had this kind of player, who doesn't seem to be much of anything at all, but who operates at a level above what his attributes suggest? The only thing that stands out, for me, is his workrate, but even that isn't spectacular.
Ackter
Why do attributes matter if the performance is good?
Cougar2010
Depends on what level your team is playing at tbh. Is he two footed at all? Other than that he has got pretty good all round attributes fro a striker. Lacks a little technically but decent mental attributes and fairly good physical attributes. crocop
1. how old is he? 2. what position does he play? 3. what club in which league you manage? These are all important questions before I can even try to answer. He looks good for a 16-17 year old striker at 2nd league club. Anyway, looks like you should sign a new contract regardless, you can always sell him.
chocolatecoatedballs
Have you ever had this kind of player, who doesn't seem to be much of anything at all, but who operates at a level above what his attributes suggest? I have once, went up three tiers with me, playing in the top tier of Germany at the time, so I bought a couple of strikers with better looking stats, but he was a goal machine! I think it would have a lot to do with hidden stats, like consistency, pressure and important matches for example. For interest sake, his personality was sporting. Boiiing
Sorry for not including the necessary info. I thought that since the U18s play at the same level (comparatively) as the main team it wasn't really relevant. I mean, he's played against the youth and reserve teams of teams at the same level as me. Anyway, 18 years old, at English Prem. level, but as I say, only for the youth and/or reserves teams so far. Oh well. I 've offered him a contract for another year, let's see what happens...
