Thank you guys - I am glad you like them! And yeah - Estadio AXA for Braca is one of my favorite stadiums on Earth - it is really very stunning. I don't think it will be most people's favoritve in this pack, but it is mine. That cliff is stunning. It was hard to pick the right picture for it, but I think this was the best.

Just so you know, we are taking league requests to be added to the next pack. Feel free to post suggestions.

Just one question....

....If you are playing FM 2011, I suggest, while backgrounds are enabled this year, that you use a dark skin with a filter through the image, since FM 2011 as released contains no filter, rendering the screen next to impossible to read. This pack is designed to show on teamscreens AND matchdays....

What do you mean by 'filters'?? I am using Steklo X1 (LHS) skin. How do I do the filter through the image bit?? Or should I be ok, just as is??

EDIT - No bother mate, have found it over at FM-View....and your pack works ok on Steklo X1 anyway.

Very good job, I'll hold off doing my new ones for the time being and use these for now, get back to what I'm best at with the cut-out faces.

I have only one slight criticism, a few of the pics are a bit slanted. I don't know what program you're using but there should be a rotate canvas filter in gimp, theres definately one in photoshop, and I think in paint.net you can use the rectangle tool to make a selection and then hover over the corner and it should let you twist in the right direction.

Anyways that's it straighten the pictures up and you're there mate. KUTGW.

Geordie - I've told you this before, but I'll say it again: Your praise means a lot to me. Praise is always nice, but comming from someone whose work I respect means a hell of a lot. And yes, I use paint.net (it's FREE!!!) you can rotate, but it doesn't give you the full 360 degree rotation, just a 16-point wheel. I put them as close to true as I could, but many shots were found at the 1600x900 width, and I didn't want to crop the image to rotate due to clarity. I really like my shots to be as clear as possible.

I personally wish for you to keep making BG packs. I was trying to do something different by using all widescreen shots, and while mine work on a standard 4x3 screen, your depth in pics far surpasses mine. I'm trying to get there, though!

I'll hope that you continue to do what you feel is best for you, and if you ever have suggestions, comments, or opinions, you know that I am all ears.

If there was ever a better gentlemen in the GFX world, well, I havn't found them. It's hard to find them better than Geordie.

There is one flaw in the pack. It seems I uploaded my unedited config.xml file for Denmark. The config file that comes with the downloads only has one half of it. Of course, the one I tested has the correct one, But I never moved the finished config.xml file back into the pack. There is a download below to fix the config files. Simply download the file (which will take less than 5 seconds) and move it into the "Denmark" folder within the BG pack. When it askes to overwrite, choose "YES".

No problems mate, although I would recommend gimp because for a free program it's the closest thing you'll find to PS, paint.net is a bit limited. I will be making BGs again at some point when my concentration levels start to slip making cut-outs, BG's have always just been a stop-gap for me to hold my interest in the graphical side of the game before getting back into facepacks.

Every time I've tried installing gimp it's failed. maybe something with windows 7. I dunno. I'd like it, though. Told my ladyfriend that Photoshop is all I want for Christmas. And FM 2011. Cash is tight right now.

Alright - BONUS league time...Kumquat_s & I had this baby all set for the MEGAPACK...and I forgot to put it in with the rest of the pack.

Cant seem to get the Denmark fix to download through Filefront.

Keep getting this error.

Try this link - I put it in a .rar file, the other download was uncompressed, which is why you were having problems with the download.

It will be a while - It's not easy finding all high-quality shots. I am currently working on it, but My guess for the next big pack is late January - sorry mate - I don't have that much time on my hands, and I release packs with my partner Kumquats at FV-View. It takes a while...

Everywhere - It's not easy - some stadiums have literally taken 15 hours to find. It's a lot of work, and when you start to get down to the lower leagues in nations like Norway, Italy, etc., it can take a long time to find any shot, much less a good one. I try to find amatuer photographers, and see if they have any pictures. My All-England (600+ teams in England) pack took several hundred hours to put together, and it's not easy finding shots for level 10 teams. I found that some people have hit many stadiums, and I send off emails. Lots of copyright stuff to work through. It all takes time.

All shots are welcome. I'm always willing to take shots that others have, and incorporate them into the packs. It is hard work trying to find shots, and forien-language issues aside, there aren't that many great sites devoted to, say, the top league of football in Finland.

Yeah, so - any shots you have folks, I'm willing to take off of your hands...

The skin is Steklo 09 redux - It only works on FM 2010. His new skin, Steklo XI, is his new skin for FM2011 - and it's sick. But I don't have FM 2011, so have never downloaded it.

I thought it looked very Steklo, but i couldn't quite put my finger on the differences between yours and the new one. I think the one you're using is better.

However my Backgrounds appear fine when clicking on the team, but dont come up when playing a match. Anyone who could help??

It seems only some clubs aren't working on matchday ie Stoke City where as others like Man U or Everton are fine. I have checked the config file and it seems all fine there....

Are you using any other stadiums backgrounds. This happened to me and it was because i was using different sets and the configs were clashing. Then i found these which are spot on coz the all in one big europe pack.

Just got back from the Brisbane Roar v Perth Glory game. Was a 1-1 draw and I got some good pics. Will upload tm morning for you minneapolisjon.
