  1. We can't fairly comment on FM25 as there's no indication on system specs as yet (I have asked on multiple occasions and haven't had any response). It has been said that FM25 will feature a 2D mode though, which I'd assume won't require the full system specs in terms of graphics. It's certainly going to be ok for FM24, although I do suspect not at max graphics settings.
  2. My turn to be brutally honest, as you put it. You're adding nothing of value to the thread. Please stop. Some people just want a laptop, and for those who do we help them find the best options for their money. And for those who want a desktop, we help them too. Just far more people seek a laptop for FM than a desktop it seems. And that's fine, it's all personal preference.
  3. Yes, a good desktop will generally be better, plus you get the upgradability factor.... But a lot of people want a laptop for various reasons, and what we do here is helping them find the best one for the budget rather than trying to lecture people over their choice of form factor being wrong.
  4. $600 isn't much for a laptop at any given time. It's unlikely to have included a dedicated graphics card at that price. Just because you had a bad experience with one laptop doesn't mean that's going to universally be true for every laptop out there. Some people don't have space for a desktop PC, or some just want the portability factor.
  5. Just managed in this absolute spectacle of a match..... thankfully managing Blackburn! Shows that even if you go into half-time 5-0 up you can never assume the game is safe. When they pulled it back to 5-4, I was having visions of losing the match. 2 games of the season left, and just about hanging on to second place!
  6. Keeping this i7-6700k is better than any of the other options you have. It does have integrated graphics, so if your son doesn't mind playing on 2D this could be an option. All of the other options you've given have weak processors which mean the game will take a long time to process.
  7. It's ok considering the free monitor. However, I'd consider this better at £899 which still gives you money left over to buy a monitor: https://www.currys.co.uk/products/msi-mag-infinite-s3-gaming-pc-intel-core-i5-rtx-4060-1-tb-ssd-10252405.html
  8. Without knowing which Ryzen 5 CPU it is I wouldn't really like to say. Can you post a link to the full spec please?
  9. Will definitely be fine for FM24, would be surprised if it also wasn't ok for FM25.
  10. Can you provide some examples of stores in whichever country you are that you could buy computers please? I'll have a look around at what's available.
  11. FM24 would be fine either way, although you may need to limit what's running in the background (for example, web browsers - especially Chrome - use a fair amount of memory). I'd still recommend the 16GB RAM in case it's more important when FM25 comes around,
  12. As per the OP, we don't comment on how many leagues any specific system will run. The acceptability of processing speed is subjective. But, any PC that will run the game can run any amount of leagues, it's just how you personally find the processing speed. It has a decent CPU though.
  13. As you're asking about FM25, it's more difficult as SI haven't released system requirements for it as yet. We know the system requirements are increasing from previous iterations, but that's all we know. I'd expect this one to be fine, but obviously can't give any cast iron guarantees. I have asked about system specs for FM25, but haven't been given an answer as yet. I'd suggest using the option to increase the RAM to 16GB. https://www.laptopstation.co.uk/products/lenovo-ideapad-gaming-3-6th-generation-ryzen-5-16gb-ram-512gb-ssd-nvidia-rtx-3050-graphics-15-6-fhd-screen-gaming-laptop
  14. There's a number of possibilities outside of him being unhappy. a) West Ham need to raise money, or reduce their wage bill. b) They've bought a player to replace him. c) The AI being dumb.
