Getting Rid Of Preffered Moves!!

Is There A Way I Can Get Rid Of Preffered Moves From A Player? Because I Have A Player And His Long Shot Ain't That Good, But He Keeps On Taking Long Shots Because It's On His Preffered Moves, And I Don't Want That Because It Wastes Alot Of Chances! Can Anyone Help?

You can't in FM08, but there's good news for you for FM09 here.

For now, the best thing you can do is make sure his long shots is set to rarely and maybe reduce his creative freedom.

In the tactics screen, click a player then you can define lots of things including long shots.

i had a CB who "hits free-kicks with power", but had a FK rating of 10. he scored 5 free-kicks for my russia team, including a last minute winner vs italy.

pity the long shots PPM doesn't work like that.

Sell him, or put up with it. There's plenty of real life players who can't shoot for toffee but think they're the second coming of Bobby Charlton. You aren't going to be able to stop him from doing it with tactics, merely limit the number of times that he does it (assuming he pays any attention to you)

I doubt it, you would have to delete each players individually would you not?

You can, i swear ive seen it in there before.

...or use a "third party" in-game editor, you can remove his PPM that way.
