F0XES
Me and my brother both payed half to buy Football Manager 2012 through Steam. He downloaded it though his account, is it then possible for me to activate the game on my account aswell? Since we both want to play the game at the same time.
SI Staff Miles Jacobson Posted October 24, 2011 SI Staff Share Posted October 24, 2011 It's not possible for you to both be playing at the same time. Each purchase on Steam is valid for one account. There is no "buy one, get one free" deal.
RTHerringbone
Whilst you're here Miles, and on an unrelated issue - I'm liking the game! Cheers!

Turneep
One of you can play it in offline mode while the other plays it online. Not sure if I should be saying that though.

Turneep
Its true, just take in turns logging into steam account on different computers and making sure game is 100% updated then one of you switch to offline mode and the other can log in fine. GuitarMan
Theres a good chance however, if you are doing this, (as your steam account is only meant to be logged in at one place at one time) theres a good chance you could lose access to your steam account (and therefore the game) for good, as its against the EULA of both the game, and Steam... So I would not advise this.
