Sussex Hammer
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-15251893 Link outlines the story. Made me wonder what SI will do with the West Ham database for FM 2012 now it seems where their home will be post 2012 seems very much in the air now. magicmastermind124
Miles already tweeted that the Stadium move was not in FM12 due to the legal issues that were ongoing I suppose.
Blidly
Guess they will do it like liverpool owners and do a quick patch if they get it or just patch when the next patch closest to it comes out

FrazT
Only confirmed facts usually make it into the game, so this wouldnt be there for a while yet.
Piethief100
Aye. I mean the likelihood is that Wham will still end up using the stadium, but instead of buying it outright, they will rent it off the owners.
stevio11
Renting sounds the way forward for west ham now according to early reports but that probably wont be for another 2-3 years so theres plenty of time to sort that out,may even be in fm13
DanSpur
I'm glad the flaws in the bidding process are being exposed now. This hypothetical loan from Newham Council to West Ham, the running track requirement, the impact on Leyton Orient. I am still a bit puzzled by Spurs' involvement in it all, maybe they would have taken a free stadium (but were up front about ditching the track), but also maybe it's to ensure government funding for the redevelopment of White Hart Lane - Haringey Council wanted Spurs to foot the bill for all the improvements to the area because it was broke. That doesn't tie in with Newham, also broke, funding West Ham, and Boris, initially offering peanuts to help. I suppose the riots helped Spurs' case, Boris's next offer was a lot higher, Levy's doing his bit here - seems like the bidding process was like the World Cup bids where everyone was encouraged to bid but the decision had already been made so it wasn't a fair process. Anyway, we'll see.. my suspicions are that Spurs will redevelop WHL (they already own a load of property around the area) but want the Olympic Stadium bid money back plus government assistance and assurances about the area.
