mongoose89
Whilst playing FM I often find myself attending matches to analyse and scout my next opposition. However as much as I would still continue doing this, I think a good feature to implement would be a chance to see match highlights in a package at the end of every weekend (Match of the day style). This saves on clicking on each individual game to watch the goals or highlights and means you can keep up to date with what is going on in your league. This could also be implemented for cup competitions. This would also help the feeling a lot of people get when they are a few seasons in to a game and have no idea who is playing for who and struggle to keep track of what other teams are like. With this feature after every matchday you could have the option to view these highlights back to back. What do you guys think?
Bracken
Good idea, as long as it doesn't take up too much memory having to save the highlights from each match every week etc. I think it would be a good addition though
mongoose89
Shouldn't take too much memory as highlights from all the games are saved to view individually anyway. Glad you like, just think it makes it easier for managers like me who like to watch other games as well as their own team in the game.
Suzie MUFC
Pretty sure this feature already exists. At least it did in FM10, haven't checked for it in FM11.
Le Tissier's Nose
I think that's a great idea! But I kinda do this myself anyway, for the league I'm playing in, I'll aways read out the results Alan Lambourne style... then click on to each game and re-enact the goals MOTD style. I'm one of the geekier ones though I have to confess..... :-)
mongoose89
Haha I am exactly the same! Just a little long winded and didn't think it would be difficult to implement. When you get the email detailing the matchday results there could be a link at the bottom to matchday highlights.
Charlesbeams
Pretty sure this feature already exists. At least it did in FM10, haven't checked for it in FM11. Yeah in the league round-up, it let's you see highlights from all games played that day
Bracken
You could also increase the realism by having a little punditry after each highlights, just a screen showing some comments like "And Arsenal show now of snapping out of their recent run of poor form, that's 4 defeats on the bounce now, they desperately need Fabregas back fit". Something like that anyway
Mr17theJB
Or you can just watch match of the day ? .. but honestly I do like the sound of this idea
mongoose89
Sorry guys, never noticed the view all function before.
Magicz
Like this idea but it would have to be implemented in a way that meant that it was short and sweet rather than longwinded
Nobby_McDonald
Yeah in the league round-up, it let's you see highlights from all games played that day Can some people not read? As Charles said here it's already possible yet two people who have posted since want to see it implemented!
