slipknot67
I'd probably swap song and Fabregas in terms of role and duty and if you get a counter attacking opportunity their could be up to 8 of your players bombing forward leaving you quite exposed at the back. I'd probably have at least one of the wing backs on a defend duty if it were my team
The-Perfect-Fm'er!
I'd stick Almunia up top for starters. Why isn't Eboue playmaker? Clichy has a fine scoring record, I'd drop him in the hole behind Almunialdo. Rosicky at left back. Maybe drop Fabregas to the bench in order for Bendtner to start as holding midfielder. Apart from that, perfect.
The-Perfect-Fm'er!
Possibly being daft in Almunia, if you are looking for a natural goalscorer instead, do all you can for Heskey. 30 guarenteed a season. Maybe 33.

Football Manager.
if your team keep giving the ball away or rush chances might want to lower the tempo.
TheBeast334
I tend to concede on the counter or just attack from wing and crosses into the box.
DaveB`
Tried stuff like that myself, Keep your defenders defending, You dont need too many people up.
SWaRFeGa
I would never play with just two defenders.
TheBeast334
Ok thanks so drag defenders down and switch them to defend and keep rest of players how they are ? .
djvandyke
A wide 4-2-3-1 can work well, see this thread. Pushing up the fullbacks like that might be ok against a side without fast wingers. http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/257922-Why-is-a-4-2-3-1-Wide-not-a-Standard-Formation
djvandyke
I like the midfield two as a Deep Playmaker Support and Ball Winner Defend.
ManUTactician247
Koscielny is in the team? You should really play Djourou... Koscielny sucks.
TheBeast334
well with this formation i beat real madrid twice in group stage. but i think once i drop defenders down and set to defend i should be ok . im really strong when im attacking . Switch Fab to AMC and put SONG as the defending CM and Wilshere as the support CM and you will get what Arsenal really uses on game days...if everyone wasn't hurt! djvandyke
What roles do you have your front four playing? I'm interested because I have just started a New Arsenal save with the same formation I have Walcott in as an Inside Forward “Attacking” since I figure I would rather have him pushing right up with the striker ready to run on to through balls. But you have him in a support role.
FrazT
There is an Arsenal team thread in the Good Players and Teams forum, so please use that for this type of thread/question.
