Bezzler
I have been playing FM11 for a couple of months now and have had some weird things happening whilst watching my games. When i first installed the game the 3d graphics ran really smoothley whithout any problems then about 2 weeks ago they begun to jerk about. Now i have looked on the net and have seen a number of ways to stop the jerkyness but none seem to work. Is this a known bug or is it to do with my computer ? i find it hard to beleive it is my laptop as it's just over a year old with the latest drivers installed and the graphics card should be more than good enough to coupe with running FMs graphics. Has anyone else had this problem if so were you able to correct it.
Biscotti
Main reason I've found for my match graphics to go jerky has been having a browser window open that's got something running in flash. Youtube is a prime culprit.
jcafcwbb
Mine is the Apple adapter. No matter how many times I have banished it from the startup files in msconfig it seems to think I constantly need to be told of all the wonderful updates they have to products I don't really use. Keyzer Soze
this is very strange! If the game run smoothley it's weird that suddenly begun to run jerky. Perhaps you install some sort of graphics addon (kits, logos, etc) or any graphics for the 3D game (adboards, nets, balls, kits). You can always try to uninstall the game, and install it again
Bezzler
I always play with nothing else running but i have been told it could be to do with my virus protection running in the background which i find hard to beleive. Looking on the net there seems to be a hell of alot of people having the same problem, i wish someone from SI would come out and explain what is going on. I rang Dell to see if i could update my graphics card today and they asked why when i told them the reason they told me my graphics card and chip set are more then capable to run 3d style graphics. I am getting the impression that there is something not quite right with the match engine graphics i may be wrong.
Biscotti
If your machine is a Dell pre-built one, then there's a better than average chance it's got a boatload of junkware preinstalled on it, and any amount of that stuf could be running in the background and slowing things down. CaptainPlanet
Mine goes jerky for the first 5 seconds of the first highlight of the half, then goes smooth after that. Although if I make a sub, it then affects the first highlight after a sub is made too.

Try downloading gamebooster. This is a small free program that will temporarily stop any processes running in the background that might be causing you some problems. http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html I always play with nothing else running but i have been told it could be to do with my virus protection running in the background which i find hard to beleive. If your anti virus is scanning when FM is running at the same time then it might be causing some issues. I would suggest that you look in your applications options and see where you can set up some exclusions and add any folders that FM uses. If you do this then it will scan when FM is running but will ignore those folders which should help with the jerkiness. I would also make absolutely sure that you do have the latest drivers available for your card.
