steph61620
Just wondering if you prefer to start at bottom or start at the top?
Cuttooth
Start at the bottom. Create your own rep.
Ty
or If your lazy, start at the top and have the glory instantly.
LFC Rule
Quick game go for top but a long career game go for the bottom and create your own rep. It's great seeing your rep increase from bottom to top in career games.
steph61620
No, I mean start unemployed with international rep which wouldnt let you get a great job straight away. In the latest patch you would start with Plymouth in the Championship.
sporadicsmiles
Depends, I have two games on the go at the moment. One of them with Semi-pro rep and the other with professional. I'm at Jaguare (3rd division brazil) in one, and as you say plymouth in the other (although i was offered Loko (plovdiv) and Zagreb posts also). Both are different challenges depeding what you want to do. I intend to try to make Plymouth premier league club in that save, and try to be successful as a manager in general with the other. So it depends how you wanna play I guess.
steph61620
What vacancys do you think will be available in next patch?
sporadicsmiles
depends when they make it how how fast current positions get filled / people get sacked in the meantime. Peterborough, for one at the moment. If they havent got a new manager by now.
steph61620
Peterborough have a new manager now. Jim Gannon (ex Motherwell boss)
crouchaldinho
Surely it depends on what you want to achieve with your save. I prefer starting with the lowest rep and working my way up in most of my saves.
jayahr
It depends on what you want. A low rep is a bigger challenge, a high rep makes for an easier start and better options to move clubs. Your call entirely. I for myself either use the lowest option or professional footballer, depending on my mood in the moment I have to decide
ForestDillinger
Bottom or middle. Have never started with top in an FM game. Ever. Highest allowed me to take over a struggling Feyenoord in first season. Was about 5000 or so.
Neji
I usually choose whichever suits the game I'm going to play. If I'm starting an unemployed 'career' game, then I always go for the lowest.
ManUTactician247
For realism, pick bottom, if you want to manage any club, pick high
