CaseyJones77
Hey guys, Just a thread of interest really...on my game Rooney reached 50+ goals for England, and therefore becoming the highest scorer ever, after about 2 seasons. Just wondered who is the highest scorer on other people's games and when did they beat the record? I'm guessing Rooney is the most obvious candidate, or Owen if he actually gets games. FlUoReScEnT aDoLeScEnT
Danny Sturridge did it in fm09 but as for fm10 i haven't noticed but Rooney seems a safe bet.
RyanBRFC
Rooney is on 46 goals for England, he would of beat the record but he got injured for me so he missed a couple of games for England. Wont be too long now..

DanGLiverpool
Rooney's got 66 in 108 at the tender age of 32. He is also the England captain after Terry resigned as captain (aged 37, now in Chelsea reserves). John Bostock is the vice captain. England first XI in 2018: Joe Hart (Manchester City) Kyle Walker (Liverpool) Tom Kershaw (Everton, regen) Ryan Shawcross (Tottenham) Michael Mancienne (Chelsea) Andy Platt (Newcastle, regen) Ian Robson (Fulham, regen) Chris Harrison (Real Madrid, originally of Bolton, regen) John Bostock (Tottenham) Aaron Spear (Ipswich) Theo Walcott (Everton) Rooney is on the bench though. Aaron Spear - Ipswich? The AI needs shooting for letting him leave Newcastle

CaseyJones77
Rooney seems the best option so far then lol Forgot to say...he reached 50 goals on mine after just 76 caps. Was mainly thanks to 10 goals at the WC Finals and then another 8 at the Euros 2 years later, with England winning both.

Kain
On my FM09 game, there was a regen called Andrew Cable who hit 109 in 120 matches before retiring! Besides Rooney though, I can't remember any real player ever becoming our top scorer ever.
