Raware Posted July 9, 2009 Share Posted July 9, 2009 After several weeks of discussions regarding a new forum for us all to post our career updates, i am delighted that SI and mods have recognised the need for such a place and i thank them and everybody who contributed in the push for this new forum. So, it is with delight that i post my current long term save...From Hong Kong With Love...aptly named due to my current location, Hong Kong. So, enough rambling on...i'll get on with my career updates. I'll warn people now if they don't wish to see player naming then this thread isn't for you as i name quite a few. Feel free to give feedback about my thread. Game – Football Manager 2009 (PC). Version – Started on Official SI 9.2.0 patch then upgraded to Official SI 9.3.0 patch. League's loaded - China (1st Div and above), Hong Kong(1st Div), England (BSS/BSN and above), France (National and above), Germany (2nd Div and above), Italy (Serie B and above), Holland (Eerste Divisie and above), Northern Ireland (2nd Div and above), Ireland (1st Div and above), Scotland (3rd Div and above), Spain (LIGA adelante and above), Sweden (First Div Elite and above), Turkey (1st Div and above), Wales (Prem). Hopefully with these leagues selected it can give me some longevity within my game. Past Experience – Sunday League footballer Edit's -I had to use FMRTE to change the injury status' of 2 players as during the 2032/33 season both players were out, 1 with a broken leg and 1 with a broken foot, yet 4 months had passed with their injury status' still at "awaiting treatment" despite me having 2 physio's. As the season progresses i jot down the important things that happen in notepad and then when it comes to writing up the final update, i use those notes as a reference point. It just a case of translating those notes and a few images into Photoshop/Illustrator then. Glad you like the read. As for starting in Northern Ireland, yeah, i'm enjoying it there and found that there are always plenty of cup competitions to be involved in! Thanks Hursty2 Once you do a few you get pretty quick and can use the template from the previous seasons just changing the text and images for the new season. Like i said, i jot everything down as i play the season and then write it up fully when the season is finished so i'm not struggling to think "hmm, what shall i write now?"
