postal postie Posted April 29, 2009 Share Posted April 29, 2009 usually if they have a pre contract agreement you can buy the player. i remember that you could offer but the player always turned it down. so this looks like a bug. although a strange one since the signing a contract news article explains the fact that he's already agreed a move away as well. He may have been on a youth contract and due to sign a full-time contract once he turned 17, but you agreed to sign him after he'd signed the contract but before he turned 17.
