Nomis07
Um, it's happened because it costs money to expand the stadium.
Sprooly
13 million pounds this has never happened to me before with everton and thats so stupid because im gonna be left with **** all for champions league and i need to improve my squad
Nomis07
Depends how big the stadium improvement is, I suppose. Look on the brightside, stadium expansion equals more revenue next season
JimmyIOCS
Did you expect your stadium would be expanded for free? I don't understand why you are annoyed.
Sprooly
i forgot to add its only getting 7500 seats added for 13 million? of course i know its gonna cost money
Nomis07
7500 seats is a hefty expansion. £13m sounds about right to me.
Sprooly
in none of my other games its happened thats why im so confused and usually my expansion is 9000 thousand odd and it never costs 13 million at first i though that the money might of gone to the everton debt which i thought was ok but it didn't so im not to pleased lolz
mahonk
its goodison, to make that place any better would cost about £100b, to get an expansion at £13m is cheap
Nomis07
in none of my other games its happened thats why im so confused and usually my expansion is 9000 thousand odd and it never costs 13 million Again, it could depend on the expansion. It would cost more to build a brand new 7500 seater stand, than add a 9000 seater tier (I would have thought).
Sprooly
yeah well i have been giving 9 milion pounds but my balance is 5 million so that helps lolz its just od cos this has never happened before but oh well you take the good with the bad
mahonk
well if you finished 4th then all things arent that bad! Use ur 2m wisely

mahonk
well to get 14m for two mediorce players is good selling, and getting shut of injury prone saha is good aswel, least you got back your 13m, plus more with extra seating and a cut in wage salary
Sprooly
and barca just offered my 7.75 million pounds out of the blue my couisn told me a selling technique and well it looks like its gonna work lolz im not suer if i should sell howard tho
Pricey85
its goodison, to make that place any better would cost about £100b No it wouldn't. To the op, look on the brightside 7500 extra seats plus Champs League football should whack your gates up by about 30-40% roughly. These things happen, it just means that your season goals have gone from challenge for the title to, equal last years success. You need to adapt to these kinds of circumstances. EthanM
My stadium at Crewe was expanded by 4,500 seats for about 6 million pounds. I think your cost of expansion is reasonable.

Andy[ro]
I think there should also be an option to ask the board NOT to expand your stadium and let you spend the money on players. I mean the opposite option of "expand stadium".
jack_man
We are known for splashing out on Goodison Following UEFA's choice of selecting England as the host of the European Championships in 1996, grants became available for teams who wished to apply to host games in the tournament. Everton chose to apply for a grant and opted to develop a two-tier, cantilever stand. The second tier has never been built due to rising costs and then chairman Peter Johnson's reluctance to meet the shortfall, and to this day the Stanley Park End remains a single tier stand with the smallest capacity at the ground. Galactus
;2913983']I think there should also be an option to ask the board NOT to expand your stadium and let you spend the money on players. I mean the opposite option of "expand stadium". Nah mate, it's up to the board to handle those type of things. The reason to expand is usually based on the prospective revenue generated. PureForce
the 13m probably has been taken out of your account on other games as well, just so happens this time you noticed it whereas before you probably didnt...
