Please post any specific issues for Russia competitions here. This is for any issue which does not relate to data and is for areas such as:

- Competition Rules (Leagues and Cups)
- Disciplinary Rules
- Transfer Rules

We would request you all to adhere to the following three point plan when posting in here:

- State what you think is specifically wrong in your league.
- State how you think it should be working.
- State reasons/proof for your corrections/improvements.

Please note that specific data issues for Russia should be posted in the Database and Research Issues forum.

In the game foreign players under 21 year don't have to be registered in order to play in the league. This way you can have more than 8 foreign players in the team, which is not possible in reality.

UPD: Source https://premierliga.ru/netcat_files/86/58/Reglament_Tin_koff_RPL.pdf §12.9, very last sentence claims that "Total number of simultaneously registered foreign players in both 3A and 3B lists cannot exceed 8 (eight)"

3B list is the one for young ones, the ones that do not have to be registered in the game.

Some strange behaviour considering non-foreign nations in the RPL and First Division.

On the rules page it is stated that only Belarus players are treated as non-foreign. In reality, Armenian, Kazakh and Kyrgyzstani players aren't considered foreign since this season ([RUS, PDF] https://premierliga.ru/netcat_files/86/58/Reglament_Tin_koff_RPL.pdf, page 4), ([ENG] https://www.panorama.am/en/news/2020/06/09/‘legionnaires’-quota/2306821) providing they are eligable to play for their national team.

But it seems like it's already implemented in the game, although i don't understand the logic

Some of this players are foreign, and some not.

As far as i understand none of them should be treated as foreign players.

Russian first division

Current match rules There must be no more than 3 foreign players in the playing 11. But in real FNL: There must be no more than 4 foreign players in the playing 11. (https://1fnl.ru/upload/s4y_docs/80/Link/Reglament_Olimp-Pervenstva_FNL_2020-2021_5.pdf p. 10.19.)

Squad registration:

Maximum 4 (four) foreign players, not 5. (https://1fnl.ru/upload/s4y_docs/80/Link/Reglament_Olimp-Pervenstva_FNL_2020-2021_5.pdf p. 8.27.2.)

Maximum squad size of 25 players, but clubs in FNL can registrate up to 10 young players (born after 31/12/1998) in addition to 25 players. (https://1fnl.ru/upload/s4y_docs/80/Link/Reglament_Olimp-Pervenstva_FNL_2020-2021_5.pdf p. 8.27.1.) So, max size = 35 players.

Also Russian U18 tournament is unbelievable, because geography is breaking down.

For example group 1, FAR EAST, but all teams are not from far east. I can understand Tom, but Dinamo Bryansk  can't, because Bryansk is one of the most western Russian cities. But SKA Khabarovsk plays group SIberia and Dinamo Barnaul plays in group Golden Ring(it is a region near Moscow). I find it VERY strange

Is this an issue in the default database?  If so, it is an issue for the database & research team and should be posted on that forum.  If not, it will be an issue with whatever third party add on you are using.  This is not something we can help with.

Still broken as of February 2021. Hopefully it will be fixed in the winter update. My u18 played against Moscow team in Siberia group. Far east had Moscow team too. Moscow group had no Moscow teams. My team is SKA Khabarovsk, which is in Far East.

I was hoping the Chertanovo issue would be fixed with the patch but alas no. I know there was a post in a different subforum about the issue but I can't find it through search, so just re-upping this in the hopes it will be working for FM22.

Sad thing is they may end up relegated this season which would leave them unplayable since the PFL isn't in FM, and therefore for the three years they were manageable in FM they were hindered with false restrictions :(
