[FM20] Lets Recreate The Success Of The Hamburger SV....Welcome To Okinawa SV...Hamburg Is Calling...Finished

After the World Cup 2002 more and more japanese and korean players came to the German Bundesliga.

The first japanese player after roughly 20 years was Naohiro Takahara.

He played 4,5 years in the Bundeliga, 3 years for Hamburger SV and 1,5 years for Eintracht Frankfurt.

Even with this short stint, he became a fan favorite in Hamburg.

 

Takahara is now 41 years old and is still playing football.

He founded his "own Hamburger Sport-Verein".

First it was a crowd funding project and now the club is playing in the 5th tier in the japanese pyramide.

 

Welcome to Okinawa Sport-Verein.

 

 

Whats the goal of the save?

Simply the recreate the success of the Hamburger SV.

 

- Win 6 times the J-League

- Win 3 times the Emporer Cup

- Win 1 time the AFC Champions League

- Win 1 time the AFC Cup  (sadly Japan is to high in the nation coefficients, so they have no place it in)

 

This should be my final save for FM20, lets see If I can do it.

And maybe, I can bring some joy for HSV fans, with they got no much lately.

Pretty decent budget.

With all players im cutting already, we got like 3-4k to spend.

After we got promoted Takahara decided to retire.

 

Time to rebuild the team.

Im goin back to my diamond, since you get better players for it.

Our signings are pretty decent, even the media reconize it.

Lets hope they are right.

Puh...Ofcause we draw one of the two biggest teams in the JFL. (the other teams is Honda FC)

Decent friendlies.

Beat JL2 side Ryuku again and only lost 1-2 with 10 men against our senior affiliate Omiya.

Also ofcause we needed play the boys from Naha again.

 

Transfers OUT

This saved us like 5k wages a week!

Also I found out something nice.

The contracts in Japan end always at 31 January of the next year, which means you can sell players, with only 30 days left on their contracts.

So we made like 1 months of wages extra.

 

Transfers IN

Well Im not proud of it, but we need to do it.

We got 11 players on loan from our senior affiliate.

Our reputation and scouting range is so low, I can only a 20-30 players pool choose from.

 

Also we signing a 37 year old goalkeeper from Syria.

 

And we can save even more money.

The wages are cut in half.

This looks like a great save, Japan is a place I've wanted to manage for a long time but never got around to, so I'll enjoy following your career there. What database are you using to get the full pyramid and real players?

I wanted something different for the last months of the FM20 circle.

Never really managed in Asia, but I wanted to do it for a long time.

Two more loanies.

 

If a football game only took 70 minutes, we would have 13 points already.

But I still pretty happy with the current situation.

We got basically a team of Omiya Reserves and U19 players, so it takes a while.

On the bright side, we scored the most goals.

...but conceeded also the most.

We are creating chances, but we need to get better in the defensive.

We are on a 6 game unbeaten run!

After the Matsue game, which we were 3:0 up, I decided to play our strengths.

We create chances and we can score goals, so just attack.

Try to score more goals then the oponent.

We are in a great place.

Lets pray that I can get some of the loanies on a pre-contract.

Motomura and Hiimeno are insane for this level.

Big draw vs Vanraure, who are first in the league.

Also we managed to beat Sony in the cup!

And we finally lost a game again, this time Honda FC was to strong.

10 points ahead of the relegation places and 5 points to the top.

Everything is still possible.

 

In the second round we draw the league 1 side Iwata.

Lets hope the gate is gettin splitted, then this would be awesome.

 

And we signed the legendary (i think you can say so) Lee Dong-Gook!

Lets hope he can provide some experience after we can register him.

More signings.

Balhous was absolutly ass and I swapped him out after 6 games.

He had 5 reflexes and you could see it.

We got Shafi on a 2 year deal and he is retiring at the end.

After 3 games, he is amazing.

Non-Contract basis, so give him a try.

After the Rosso game, I digged in my tactics folder and I found a trusted, old formation.

Its slightly different then the one I used for the most part.

This one I used in my africa save, its working perfect.

All I need is better wingbacks and strikers. (Success is currently on internationals)

Its lookin great.

We are 3rd in most goals, but thats it. I dont like that.
