Long time lurker on this topic, always fancied trying it, take it i can start on FM22 and doesnt matter if u finish it after fm23 comes out? Struggling with where to start, but a question about league loading, I take it most people maybe just have a few leagues loaded at same time to keep game speed up? And what about when I finish with an area, say I do Asia and want to go back to Europe, do you need to load all the leagues in a nation up? Im just thinking for speed, loading up all of England seems a lot, but i recognise u need to have the appropriate reputation to get a premiership job, do u have any guidance for this? like when im looking to tick off the european leagues id rather just load the premier leagues for say 5 nations to make it quicker, whats your thoughts?

been out the game a bit recently but @skillsand @glennuktremendous lads! My Italian save that I posted the beginnings of...just not feeling it...not sure what im gna do next, dont see there being a shot at completion before fm23 so im finding it hard to get the motivation!

Ok after a few days in the huff from my resignation from Lokeren after an eternity in the Belgian 2nd tier, I was a total saddo and went back to my German save from earlier this year, and just looked at my all conquering Jena side and reminded myself that I do actually know what I'm doing with this game! But I'm ready to get back on the horse, it will be a slightly slower pace as the seasons are chunkier, and I just have a lot on so I think i'll be lucky to get through maybe 2 seasons a month but see how it goes! So without further ado, my next move is to Italy - Serie C/A, Novara, who were a Serie A team as recent as 2011, feel like I'm cheating a wee bit as they seem quite a big club, have £2m in the bank!! A long way removed from some of you guys who build clubs up from nothing, already a decent infrastructure here. But I don't have time for that!

Need to give us a look at the attribute page for the nxt gen winner when u get a chance mate! @BustaRaymesLike the look of the young Swedish guy, if u manage to mentor him and get rid of the personality he'll be a cracking player for you before long. The other winger looks potentially good too just out and out right winger. @JLABthat young prospect is insane, look at the mentals on him! @libbyshussunlucky mate, u reeled me in with the spoiler, thought you'd done it!!

watching you guys climb up the leagues makes me want to join but the huge seasons intimidate me! I liked the Belgian league especially 2nd tier i got stuck in, only 28 game seasons! So between my kids and work, I was able to churn out a season a week on average. But going with English save you'll be lucky if i can manage 2 seasons a month, which 5 months until FM 23 I imagine, 10 seasons - I'll still be in Vanarama North/South! I may just have to concede I'm not completing it this year and just enjoy the ride!

@Daddymade me see sense. Hats off to anyone whose done Belgium, I can't get out of the 2nd tier, just floating around averaging a point per game for about 7 years, so I've resigned, and saved the game so I can't go back. Just not working out, I havent been able to make any progress in 7 years stuck in 2nd tier, despite at times having some decent players/teams. Enjoyed it overall but last few seasons not fun, and lifes just too short to constantly conceding late goals! The final nail in the coffin was the youth preview, top of the list, a great keeper...again!!!! Onto the next one..,

Been out of touch with the thread for a while, bloody hell @glennukamazing! Delighted for you mate! looking forward to seeing how u progress. It's not...I'm stuck in this 2nd tier for Belgium and just having the board give away players every season for peanuts....every pre-season I think about binning this save....but i've come too far!

@Britrockgreat end to the season there, and yeh no harm in losing to Europe to the eventual champions! Nijs looks phenomenal how does he not have a Belgian cap? That GK is insane, and i like the centre half too. DO you still have your sugar daddy?? And that must have stung with the Real job offer, hitting decline!

Season Review 2030/31 (Season 9) Table | Fixtures 1 & 2 | Finances | Transfers More of the same, as you'll see from my previous seasons, I haven't really improved for about 7 seasons! This is the most frustrating save I've ever had, but I'm still enjoying it despite the fact I'm destined never to get us out this league! Same stuff you've read from me before, woefully inconsistent, can't decide on a shape, I have a really young team and the minute someone decent matures, the board sell them out from under me, and the next 16-17 yr old needs to step up. As you'll see from transfers, our best 2 players were sold in the summer. Ah well, we go again! Board still showing little ambition, happy still to avoid relegation despite being in the league for years. Finances are a tip, despite my being under wage budget for entire save, and selling players every year...board doing a sterling job! Nice to see the move to part time has had an impact! Team Will show you some of the best players we've produced... Oliver Kamango, play him on left wing, cutting in, he's decent but i want more from him. Brent Lippens wants away, I don't blame him, in my opinion our best player, clubs sniffing around and I've agreed to sell him for £500k if a club comes in...hopefully they don't! Frustratingly Di Matteo also plays his best on right wing, same as Lippens, but I can't play them both! But he's a good inverted winger for us. I really like Toma Pena, crap disciplinary record though, but I'm still expecting him to be a main player for us in years to come. Regis Tsishamba at centre half I think will be a good player for us in future. Admir Hadzic, our keeper, he's ok! Youth Intake Preview | Intake | Squad View Another good keeper frustratingly! Need a left back!! Plenty of keepers and wingers though! Van de Velde - he might be better than my current keeper Hadzic, who has tons of Bosnian U21 caps, and Brugge were looking at him a while ago, tempted to offer him out with a 50% sell on and just go with this boy! Fanelli - nice looking centre half although wish he had better physicals. Covo - already been called up to like u19 world cup for his country despite just being regen'd! Next season....mid table obscurity. ZZzzzzzzzz

@JLABWell done on the promotion, weren't you worried about the relegation group a few days ago!? Great achievement! @glennuk you're doing well with some of these sales - some of the players, they look decent, but £9m, for that guy....take the money and run! Hope you finish the job and get back the Championship!

@glennukhard lines man-that's a long hard season you had there. A lot of people who have completed the challenge have had relegations though so hopefully you're back up in a year or 2. That young keeper - he looks great, you must be well stacked in that position if he's not going to break into the team. I'm the same in my belgian team - I get a good keeper every year it seems like! Great bank balance and infrastructure though so you're well set up for long term success! @Daddyit's cool watching someone else in Belgium although I am worried you'll make a mockery of the struggles I've had, ie being stuck in 2nd tier for like 8 years now! But it'll be good to compare! @JLABdoes the relegation group reset your points again? Seems unfair you're at risk when you're so many points ahead of the bottom. I like the look of Maric with a great personality too.

Season Review 2029/30 League Table | Fixtures 1 & 2 | Finances | Transfers After the poor showing past few years, I changed to a back 3, with wing backs and wingers, 2 CMs and a AF. We had a much improved season, but again frustratingly collapsed down the straight, and missed out on 2nd place and a play off promotion, despite being top 2 most of the season. Frustrating, in that the team who finished 2nd, had inferior GD to us, and had just won promotion themselves! And interestingly, Oostende who dropped out the premier league into our league, got a 2nd successive relegation. They were heavily fancied so this was a huge shock. But a frustrating season to start on fire but then our usual inconsistencies crept in, I mean, look how we started! But overall I'm pleased just to be away from the bottom of the league and having a comfortable season, my games are so reliant on getting first goal. If I fall behind - forget it, but if I can go in front I'm good to hold on usually! Got linked with a premier league job which I thought was a bit weird, as was doing ok, but nothing special! But I'll take it as a good sign! Team I'll give a run down of my main stars! Eugene Deirekx is by far best player at club - which is a shame as he's agreed to join a premier league team for £675k, but with 50% sell on. We will miss him!! Nicholas De Matteo, played cutting in off the right wing, good player, finished season incredibly strongly, was brilliant toward end of season. Mattis De Paepe, been in first team few years now, has 150+ games for us, I like him although he rarely sticks out in highlights. Toma Pena - 16 year old midfielder who attributes wise looks great, but got sent off twice in like 13 appearances! But if i can manage him, he'll be great! Oliver  Kamango broke into team last few games cutting in off left wing, and I think he'll be a big player next season judging on how he finished season. Brent Lippens - attracting interest from premier league, although he's a winger, I've found best performances from him played as a pressing forward on defend, so I'm not sure how to use him! Admir Hadzic - our GK, bosnian u21 international, Brugge wanted him and i rejected it it was something stupid like £50k, and i had 3 years left on his deal. He got angry for a few weeks then settled down, probably his unambitious personality! Louis Bracke featured more toward end of season, I tried to make him into a LWB such was my desperation at this position, he was ok, but playing as a RWB or right winger he did well too, like the look of him! Alain Kisesa, whilst being crap - is the first player we produced to get called up to the World Cup! Youth Preview | Intake 1 & 2 & 3 | Squad View Some good depth this year from the intake, few players who I think will be first team players in a year, have featured below some of the best ones. Zniber - left winger Van der hoek - left back - he'll be in team before long, we are a joke at left back/LWB. Lance Weston - a Belgian/American! Looks good I think. Cheng Yujie - Belgian/Chinese - rubbish physicals but I still think there's a player there. Rayan Amouche - nothing special but I'm documenting him as its my 3rd model citizen in a row - the previous 2 changed to "light hearted" within weeks, so this is a project, going to watch him like a hawk and see what happens! Mohamed Sangare - Ivorian striker, I think he looks like DLF? Next season, have 2 strong teams being relegated from Pro League A- Westerlo, who are loaded with young talent with high values, and Cercle Brugge, who are also on paper way better than anything else in this league. So I think we need to just get the system tweaked, and give ourselves few seasons - one year, we'll get lucky and fluke a promotion, but it won't be next year.

Wow I've not been on so much recently, missed a lot of cool stuff! @DaddyDon't think any of us would begrudge you if you decide to end the challenge - to win a European trophy with an Israeli team using only youth prospects is incredible, what a save. Hope you get them over the line one way or the other!! @skillsthat GK looks great, you're setting up well off the pitch, @Neo_Geosolid first season - that centre back will play for Holland one day he looks great

Great progress @glennukand @toshimitzou1the icelandic project will be fun if you have patience for it! @Daddythr auto reject thing - I used to have this but I found it just resulted in board accepting deals I wasn't happy with, without the appropriate sell on clauses. The board AI in this is horrendous, why would they agree to selling a youth prospect without an agreed sell on clause. So I took it off and just judge it myself now and usually end up taking little less money but with some clauses etc added on. The winger on the nxtgen list looks great, you must have sold some amount of players now across Europe, you must be loaded!

Amazing @Neo_Geolook at the run you've had out of big Hugo!! He was great for me as Katwijk earlier this year when I tried this challenge but I wasn't as successful as you! Think i managed season and a half

I have had 2 players, 1 from each of my last 2 intakes, showing "model citizen" personality. Within weeks, both had changed to light hearted. WTF? Is this because I've got a squad full of wasters? How depressing...how are you to maintain these personality traits if within weeks they stop being a model citizen and start being all light hearted!

Season Review 2028/29 Just read my past 5 reviews for the low down - more of the same, awful, can't work out a system, and a team full of duds! Can't create, can't score, bla bla bla! League Table | Fixtures 1 & 2 I'm gna have to find a system and stick to it. Developing some decent looking wingers and central mids, so gna commit to somethin that has has enough of these! Team Only going to show you some of the best home grown players. Best player after Max Leroy left for Anderlecht was Eugene Diereckx, mainly played as a CM on attack. By far my best player. 2 years left on his deal, not entertaining a new contract, why would you if you were him! So probably only got 1 more season left out of him! Brent Lippens developed well, down as a right winger but i got a good few games out him as pressing forward on defend. He's attracting interest from some premier league teams in Belgium. Nicholas De Matteo is very hot and cold. Think his personality has a lot to do with that. Sometimes, cutting in off the right wing he's a match winner. But he often disappears and is anxious during matches! Mattis De Paepe starting to fulfil his early promise, some of the Pro League A teams sniffing about him at times too I hope I can keep him. Youth Intake Preview | Intake | Signed players Couple of players I'll show you from this who made their debuts towards end of season - Tomas Pena as a 3 star CA player is already 1st team calibre, worryingly wont discuss a contract aside from the 2 year youth deal he's on, so that's a bit of a worry! And this centre half, model citizen personality, looks ok, gna try feature him as CB is a bust for me, just constant missed headers balls over the top and conceding goals. Transfers Sold Max Leroy to Anderlecht, and I cashed in the 50% sell on clause I had on him for about £2,5million, which I think I'll regret as his current value is 11-19m, but I was in so much debt I just took the money. Finances in best shape since I've been in charge but still loosing money despite a miniscule wage budget Club Vision is to survive, that's all it ever is and probably ever will be! We're getting worse, least points, and most goals conceded in my time at club. Surely next season should be better....
