Don’t agree. When we’ve tried to take risks and play through the lines it’s played right into their hands. The midfield or full backs have to come deeper/closer and offer more passing options as they’re man marking us in the middle third.

We just need to be a bit more patient with the ball.

People are moaning about Henderson but he fits the rest of the team much better than Mount imo. I’m just glad he’s kept Bellingham in instead of Mount!

The more I think about it the happier I am with us to just keep rotating the wide players. Gives the opposition teams less of a chance to work us out.

Every other tournament I’ve been able to make a case for Sterling to play and he usually doesn’t let us down, but I don’t think he should play this year. He’s been really poor.

I know they’ve just scored but Argentina’s tactics are like nothing I’ve seen before. There’s no midfield. They all just play up against the back line whilst Enzo drops between the centre backs. It’s rubbish
