I don't think it's bad keeping, ball takes an unexpected deflection by the defender and the keeper is naturally caught wrong footed. No wonder he couldn't keep it out even if he still takes a touch

Playing like this just seems like such an incredibly wasteful way of making use of an elite poacher like Lewandowski. And it's not like it was just this match neither, Poland were also awful in the two previous matches. I don't have much hope for them vs France

November-December 2022 So many games. So so many. It's taking forever and ever for me to play this season. We are winning a lot though, and starting to get close to automatic promotion places. Not bad for a team coming from League Two. We've also progressed in the EFL Trophy thing and are facing Milwall next.

You guys are missing that for this match they were playing Spain who are amazing in the midfield, so for defensive reasons Flick packed the midfield in a 4-3-3 with 3 players capable of playing as 6 or as 8, Goretzka Kimmich and Gundogan. Muller can't do that. It was either play him upfront, shove him to a wing, or take him off, no space for a #10 or a second striker on this shape.

That was absolutely shambolic. I don't think I know how to play with this formation, and I don't know if tactical familiarity is hindering us a bit as I'm joining tournaments immediately before they start, without being able to train it. What happened is we went down not just to 10 but to 9, and conceded on the 93rd. We're in trouble guys.
