  1. Its the first full release so no bug fix update on changes since beta
  2. You'll always need the Winter update for Feb / March for the data updates post transfer window. Anything else will depend on key issues identified not resolved at release and / or those identified post release
  3. I believe its a known issue, fingers crossed its fixed for Monday's pm roll-out
  4. Please raise as a bug as it should be green for a win and red for a loss
  5. Likely that there will be ME changes but if you start a save before this your save going forwards will pick up any ME changes. All you will likely miss is some key data changes that may have happened in the real word that got included in the final release version. As I mentioned earlier I wouldn't stress over this since the minute you start your game it diverges from real life anyway
  6. This sounds like a bug, a quick google search says that on June 23, 2023, FIFA confirmed that the United States will host the 2025 tournament as a prelude to the 2026 FIFA World Cup
  7. Agreed but its possible that there may be a few data changes that get included reflecting some possible key change that have happened recently in real life. Personally I dont see starting without these to be a big deal since as soon as you start playing FM24 you diverge from real life anyway
  8. You'd be better raising a bug report if you want it looked at to be honest
  9. No, the release next week will be the first official release version. Maybe confirmation of changes if made for subsequent updates after that
  10. 12 goals but 8 in league? It looks like he has played for 2 clubs 2023/24, I wonder if that is causing some kind off issue with his career stats
  11. 3rd party graphics wont get supported Im afraid. I'd raise a query on the site you got them from
  12. or is it career stats thats incorrect as the first 2 screenshots both show 8. Could you check each match that confirms Harrison has played and scored in and count those up, appearances and assists are also in contradiction in the bottom 2 screenshots
  13. Its possible that goalkeepers are being counted as outfield players and so at higher risk of injury instead of as GK but Ive not seen evidence of this In any case the only way to prove it is run a series of soak tests looking at GK injuries and comparing to real life. In my personal soak tests I didnt see anything significant in terms of GK injuries. I also wonder since the training module has had some changes if you default training to Ass Man he may over do it? There is also the player injury risk assessment to keep an eye on. https://www.sportsgambler.com/injuries/football/england-premier-league/ I count 6 GK injuries so far this season in the premier. Interesting stats here it doesnt break it down to differentiate between outfield players and goalkeepers
  14. No idea but normal FM policy is not to make a change in FM data to match real life until its actually happened which is sensible in my view. There could also be legal / licence conditions. Think on this, FM bans him before an official ruling would not be good for many reasons. In any case the db will be locked by now, perhaps some very high profile changes irl may make it if they happen just before or very close after release date but wont be many Maybe if its announced by the end of year it will make a winter update
  15. I would try an experiment. Start a new game same team but with a manager or you as a manager with a lot more experience. At a similar point time wise for the same player try the same and see if the result differes. As others have said Ive never had a player kick-off when Ive said something about poor training in FM23 but Ive always used the softly / softly approach (arm round shoulder). If you dont maybe try that option. Normally the funny response I get is praising a player who then says our standards differ
  16. Yes, I edited the post. In fairness in detailed team stats its not clear that its consecutive. I have updated the bug post having looked at detailed player stats in in fairness its a lot more balanced and closer to real life Soak Test stats looking at Detailed Player Stats - Clean sheets:
  17. Thanks. I also raised this for FM23. I mention this in case there is some investigation already performed. Dean advised in his view it was not a data issue
  18. Might need to be managing the club for a while / doing well for the board to help out and approve it
  19. Hi - Thats a really brave, open, and honest statement to make. I expect there will many FM gamers that also suffer with mental health challenges currently or at various times of their lives and its fantastic and refreshing seeing a post like this which I think will help encourage more people to open up and speak on this subject. In fact about any challenges of any kind! It got me through a period stuck at home following an ACL injury playing football that resulted in me having my left leg in a steel brace for 3 months. It also helped give me the drive to get back fit again to carry on playing about a year after the injury. My friends will remember me on crutches in the terrace, having my crutches checked for weapons watching Oxford v Pompey with a 4-1 lead to end up drawing the game 5-5. Im almost 59 and followed the same root as you with a football game on an Acorn Electron, Kevin Toms of course, several others in between then the first Championship manager game released by Domark on the Amiga before moving to PC and then changing to Football Manager. I have bought every addition released. I dont know how over the years I have managed to get away with spending so much time playing the game but clearly the graphics have much improved when a few years ago my other half came into my office hearing me cursing to say "Oh, didnt know you was watching live football" Im pleased to hear you are in a much better way and hope this continues. Also good luck in your FM24 career! Best Regards, Warren
  20. It might do if you are buying player costing more than you have in your budget then once achieved selling a player or players to break even / put money back in. I have had transfers rejected when just a few K short (contract add-ons can do this to you) I think it will be where there are small differences between transfer funds and player cost. Ive just tested transfer with a potential deficit of 500K and transfer was cancelled
  21. @by__elijah Yes, exactly that. I dont think the ME caters for the fact that current footballers are now professional athletes. I see many players playing 3 games a week and dont get jaded irl like the do in FM 24. Im getting news reports asking me to rest centre backs and yet in real life you'll see these players playing all 46 league matches
  22. Ive reported issues with increased jadedness of players / requirement to rest players. It was suggested it was due to me using AI training rather than managing it myself biut I did the same last year and its worse this year IMHO
  23. Issue: Havant and Waterlooville are one of 3 affiliates for Portsmouth (and have been for ages). All 3 including Havant are listed in the ORDB but only 2 are shown in game (yes Im looking at FM24 ) e.g Bognor and Gosport correctly included, Havant incorrectly excluded. I believe I raised this issue last year also its been ok in previous versions Correction: Make changes to ensure all 3 are included as affiliates Attachment 1 = ORDB screenshot Attachment 2 - FM24 Affiliates screenshot
