I don't play many annual release games outside of FM these days, and with FM I'm happy with refinement as much as anything. New features are all well and good, but if it's not adding anything valuable to the game then what's the point?

I'll be managing Southampton so there will probably be no budget unless I sell first. I do imagine KWP will probably be off though in-game even though we've kept hold of him in real life!

It really depends what you're trying to measure. The last 5 games is obviously their current form and if lower than expected you'd need to be considering whether they need dropping or for their role to be reconsidered. You'd also need to take into account how many minutes they've had in those 5 games. -
