  1. It was in the "Future of FM" blog from MIles himself, so definitely someone who would know! https://www.footballmanager.com/news/future-football-manager
  2. In theory I'd agree, but they did very explicitly state system requirements would increase with FM25. I'd still expect them to be relatively modest to maintain as large a playerbase as possible, but until they give us firm info in this regard we won't know for sure.
  3. It would run FM24, no idea about FM25 when that arrives but my suspicion is it may struggle. Also, not sure how it will fare from a graphics perspective so you may need to use lower settings or stick to 2D. My biggest concern with it is only 4GB RAM, which may cause issues, If you're happy to consider a refurbished model, this one is worth a look at a similar price and it has a 12 month warranty: https://www.laptopstation.co.uk/products/hp-laptop-15-fc0008na-7t-generation-ryzen-5-8gb-ddr5-ram-256gb-ssd-windows-11-home-15-6-fhd-screen?_pos=1&_fid=18e758228&_ss=c

  5. Aside from the obvious hopes of improved graphics and improved processing speed, the player interaction side of things still needs a lot of work. Examples, if a player complains about his playing time and you promise some playing time, but he's then complete gash after a few games and decide you can't risk playing him any more, there should be the option when he complains further to state his performances weren't good enough, and currently that option doesn't exist. Also, if someone comes up wanting improved terms on their contract and you literally don't have the wage budget to allow it, there should be the option to say this, Currently there isn't. Whilst the interactions in FM24 were definitely improved once the patches came out, and are definitely better than they were in FM23, the current system is still too inflexible. I'd also like to see improvements to the press conferences. Nothing bugs me more than after choosing the middle option because I have literally nothing to say about Brian Gobshite's troubles at Colchester, then getting the "The supporters will want to hear a proper answer from you.....", Why? What does it have to do with me? I don't care!
  6. I'd need to see the actual links. Those titles don't say what model i5 CPU they have, or how much RAM they have.
  7. It's up to you whether you wait. However, I'd be shocked if this struggles with FM25: https://www.currys.co.uk/products/hp-victus-16r0502sa-16.1-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-rtx-3050-512-gb-ssd-10250490.html
  8. https://www.currys.co.uk/products/msi-katana-b13v-15.6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i9-rtx-4060-1-tb-ssd-10254228.html One of the best laptop CPU's currently available paired with an excellent graphics card.
  9. Putting those models into a search doesn't give me a specific spec so its not really possible to say. I'd really need to know CPU and RAM to be able to say.
  10. That laptop will be fine to run the game and shouldn't have any issues with the setup you mentioned.
  11. Something like this would be ideal: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/acer-predator-helios-neo-16-wuxga-165hz-ips-gaming-laptop-intel-i7-13700hx-geforce-rtx-4050-with-16gb-ddr5-512gb-ssd-steel-gray/6541304.p?skuId=6541304
  12. Something like this would do the job: https://www.argos.co.uk/product/3349809?clickPR=plp:1:35 I'm not an electrical expert, but I see no reason why using an adaptor to allow a UK charger to be used wherever you're going.
  13. There's all manner of factors which go into it. I just finished a season with Chelmsford in the National League South. It was my first full season, having started the game unemployed. We overperformed expectations - Finished 4th in the league but lost the playoffs (expected mid-table finish), got to the 3rd round of the FA Cup and the semi-final of the FA Trophy. At the end of the season, I had job offers from 4 League Two clubs and one in the Scottish Championship. I put that partially down to the overperformance, and partly down to Chelmsford allowing me to take coaching badges (at the time I left for Forest Green, I was studying for either a Continential B or C, can't remember which).
  14. Of those two, definitely the first one by a long way. I don't have any personal experience with the Steam Deck but I am aware that it can be connected to a monitor.
  15. My suggestion for now would be to turn down the graphics preset. I have a laptop with the same CPU and integrated graphics and when testing worked fine when set to medium.
  16. If you're not watching the full match (which most of us don't), you're not seeing everything the player does. But, I do find that the match stats can be a bit wonky anyway. I do feel like goals and missed penalties have way too much bearing on a player's match rating.
  17. Because we don't have the system requirements for FM25, but we do know they're going to increase, we are generally recommending laptops currently with a dedicated graphics card. This is the cheapest brand new one I can find at £550: https://www.argos.co.uk/product/3349809?clickPR=plp:1:38
