  1. hello! part of my youth team complain that "they are unhappy with their training units not getting enough attention" i checked coach assignments, schedule, etc, everything seems to be ok, should i delegate to ass man? LUL
  2. hi @nathwiggy +1 to this. Pay attention to "fatigue" of your team. If you have a medical scientist, you should be able to make this parameter appear in addition to condition etc. if there is something else than "fresh" it's not good at all. you are only sept 15th and your team is exhausted. how can they go until end of season? Also, a french player spotted a bug in the game. If you put your team to rest manually and in the training schedule there is something else than "rest" on the day the players should rest, the fatigue status doesn't reduce enough. To have the fatigue reduce efficiently, you have to put a rest day manually PLUS put rest in the training (with may be a recup session). here is the video explaining it all. it's in french but YT should be able to put subtitles to what he says. very helpful and after changing that he had great results with is team =) try it and tell us if fatigue is still up in your team
  3. hi! May i help? i think firstly you should wonder how are the odds for your team predicted by medias (league > details or something like that i don't have menues in my mind) then, ask yourself how do you want to play. check @Cleon's book here: https://fmplaybook.viewfromthetouchline.com/#playing_styles chapter Playing Styles - The Attribute Side Of The Game may be helpful (others too!) and i suggest you to try preset tactics, don't be fooled they are really good and yous ass man may help you find out wich one is best for you interesting read here ! enjoy
  4. may i add something to the thread? 1. not only the HoYD personnality is important, but the young team staff personnality too is important and can influence intake personnality. 2. your intakes star ratings are compared to your best player at the position he plays. so a 3* can be a really decent player if he develop well, but may be not such as your top player. 3. when the intakes start to pop up, can you see how many clubs had pick up before you? you can check it in world transfers > youth intake then check england box (not sure about how to explain the menu) the first clubs of this list take the best players.
  5. hi @Mik_Fe your welcome i try to help =) --> one cover duty should be enough, i never heard about two covers, and i fyou read this below, you will learn more about the combinations you can and can't do (this is really helpful, a mus read!) --> very important when your defensive line is high up the pitch, tha'ts why with cover or drop off more, it gives a delay for your defender but also more time to figure out what to do for attacking players, other wise, two defense duty can build an offside trap, and stopper duty try to fight above defensive line. But as you will learn in the guide never two covers or two stoppers not bad IMO, youi can also try stay closer, for one of them and ask your winger or midfield to give wide to your shape, there's so many things to try and this is what give this game all that interest
  6. hi @Mik_Fe! There's nothing wrong with your tactic, it is how you should set up a possession based tactic. what you can change is may be the defensive line to "higher" do you have fast defenders? May be if your HB doesn't have "mark tighter" he will try to cut the pass lines? you can try to put one CD on cover duty but you already have TI Drop off more... I'm not the best at defending and i would love to learn more, this is just some ideas, not sure it will be way better, hopefully someone will be more helpful
  7. also i heard in a video that since you play with a very narrow formation you should ask your team to strech more so may be try play wider?
  8. hi Danej, out of the Leadership, collectif*, and personality, a captain must be on the top of team hierarchy* this is how you should choose your captain * words i'm not sure are good english x)
  9. i have seen a similar tactic where the two AM have "run into space" whenever the striker got the ball and search for one AM behind him, the other runs down and his a threat for the defense and an option to find a pass, combined with the runs of WB and W =)
  10. seems like in thoses pictures your team tend to regroup on the right side of the pitch, do you use "focus play" ? This TI set a pressure on one flank and at the same time create space on the other, which combinated with roam from position of the RMD could affect as stay wide aka where there is space
  11. he def thinks he is a winger ^^ does he have a trait which can explain this?
