  1. Thanks for you comment Arijit. Trty this tactic and tell me something about this. if you find some problems, some mistake or other. Thanks you!
  2. I have been working on this tactical project for some time, and it all starts from the fact that when FM24 comes out, when the ME is "stable" I will want to use it in a career with Roma. Starting from the tactical idea, I briefly describe: Possession Phase: The team must play direct football, by direct I don't mean the passes but the pace, sustained and decisive, with passes that are on average short but of high intensity. Specifically, as regards the departments, the defense must think without sweeping. Once the pressing line has been overcome, and therefore theoretically with the ball under the control of the CC or TRQ, we target the opponent or play first, opening up on the sides for the WB who will have passed the CC line in the meantime, on the attacking midfield we can opt for a backward discharge for offensive and non-offensive midfielders, or crossing it in the middle for the striker. Non-Possession Phase: The team must absolutely try to avoid being overtaken by long balls, so the 3 in front will have to act as disturbers for the start of the opponent's action. We will not remain with very high lines and our pressing will start in midfield. The defenders in the non-possession phase will have to remain in position with the central defender ready to run behind with the two CMs who will have to work hard! Transition instant: Loss of the ball, ideally in the opponent's back three, I want a re-aggression having coverage of 3 defensive players, but if we win it back, ideally in our back three, considering that we remain compact just below the midfield line, I want a decisive restart towards the striker with the two adv.midfield that will be found in support or a verticalization on they. Considering this, I am working on 3 tactics to apply in the various slots, 3-4-2-1 will be our basic formation, depending on the progress of the match or the opponent to be faced, I will also build a 3-4-1-2 more offensive and vertical and a 3-5-2 with a compact wall that maintains possession. But let's go step by step, analyzing and commenting with you on the basic tactics; It is a known (especially in recent years) 3-4-2-1 or 5-2-2-1. Once we have seen and analyzed the basic tactics in terms of structure and timing of the game, we move on to the individual instructions of the players: Sweeper keeper - Defense (standard without any instructions and therefore without posts) Central defender - Covering (NB: for those who are more attentive, they will have noticed the pressing notches with the covering task and the notches with defense/marking, with the consequent analysis) Wide Centre Back - Defense Wing-back - Support Deep Lying Playmaker - Defence Ball winning midfielder - Support Advanced Playmaker - Support Attacking Midfielder - Support Pressing Forward - Attack A little insight into the players and the "roles" assigned to them... SK-De: Modern goalkeeper. Nothing more and nothing less, a good goalkeeper with sufficient feet, we didn't ask him anything except to save everything CD-Co: The Last Man. He is nothing other than our central defensive bulwark, the one who doesn't set but who only has to move the ball from right to left in the back department, theDLP and the AP take care of taking good risks in case, he has to escape on long balls and make defensive diagonals if the opposing attackers cut behind the WCB coming out while pressing or doubling. basic skills of a DC with attention to speed. WCB-De: Technique, physicality and speed. Defender who "would like to set" but doesn't, I don't want throws and risks but just turn the ball over to attract the opponents, so they stay wide and double helping the full-back, marking the opposing midfielders/IF/IW. Classic DC skills plus techniques for handling the ball. WB - Su: A train. We ask a lot of him, both in offensive and defensive terms, even if we can turn a blind eye to the latter. having to travel a lot of kilometers during the match, it goes without saying that his physical qualities must be really good, he has no particular offensive tasks other than bombarding the area with crosses into the area or behind, in the defensive phase he must know how to position himself and must not be short of stature acting as a defensive fifth. DLP-De: The exhaust. The ball comes out of him on the turn that the defense makes, the ball launches from him on the flanks or passing through his teammate, it remains between the midfield and the defense in the possession phase and will be used to turn the ball from side to side something else when we are in the last third of the pitch. basic DPL skills with the addition of physical skills. BWM-Su: The Equalizer. He doesn't have any particular task, standard dribbling, standard risk, standard shooting. Do what needs to be done based on the situation, be more defensive if necessary or push if you can, but hit anything that comes near you. basic skills of a supporting CC, it is essential that he is an intelligent and physical player so as not to leave the DPL alone together with the DCs. AP-Su: THE Playmaker. Our number 10 for excellence, technique and flair above all, he will be our last pass in the offensive phase and with freedom of movement he must do it in a wider range of action. AP skills are good with excellent mental and technical skills. AM-Su: Half and half. Half playmaker and half shadow striker, he must overcome the opponent and communicate with the 2 offensive teammates by inserting himself into the spaces created by the striker and also remain in the "external finishing zone" if the wing-backs pass him behind. Skill of a support attacker mixed with a finisher, therefore technical, offensive mental and agility. PF-At: Fulcrum. Basically this is... the only difference is that I don't end up wasting game time holding the ball like the default TM role does and talks me back like a real fulcrum. He must be a physical beast, strong in the head and fast, a complete attacker who does not need excellent technical skills, therefore the basic skills of a center forward with an absolute focus on physical size and physical skills. we ask him to score goals, to pass simple and not lose the ball because we will be in the pushing phase at that moment, nothing else special. I would say that the tactic has been explained far and wide, the pleasant thing about the forum is that you can compare yourself with other people who can help you in commenting and growing, modifying and testing... this is what I ask of you, ask and comment why this tactic was created on a total theoretical basis and tested only in one season with West Ham (1 season with 31 games in the season and they are in 4th place -5 from third and +2 from fifth) therefore it needs more in-depth analysis. I have some small doubts and curiosities but I first want to discuss with you what you see of this tactic, then maybe we'll get there. Thank you all for your attention on this post! PS: Sorry for the English Google
  3. Hi Guys! i try to build a tactic (433) with HB, but i’ve some question with his colleagues, the two miedfielders. option 1: HB + DLP/S and RPM/S what did you think about this? option 2: HB + RPM/S and AP/S more aggressive option option 3: HB + AP/S and CM/S(with Pi like a mezzala) which is in your opinion best option? i use two IF/s and one PF/a.. the tactic press high and the target is to have the control of the match and the ball. classic possession tactic. thanks for your support!
  4. hello guys .. I'm in an incredible limbo .. basically I was promoted in the first year from Serie B to Serie A (Italy), I made a transfer market when I was in B of young prospects, to be raised for when I would be a candidate for promotion ... well, listed 14th, I even finished first in the championship in the first year….. ok, I'm not alarmed.. let's spend the days until June 30th and study how to do in window transfer..... the days have passed and my mind has stopped almost afraid ... the situation is that the contracts of first team players have a 25% increase, so from a salary budget of just over 12 million, I have 14 and a half million salaries to pay.. good news? there are none, the company has made 0 Euros available to me for purchases and I only have about 500,000 left for wages... in the time between the end of the championship and the beginning of the new one, I renewed the staff, high category staff, all the heads of the various sectors are now very good... but they don't go on their own pitch… I tried to probe for loans, they all want financial compensation, not feasible.. the salaries requested are almost all above the threshold that I have to spend.. latest news, the budget is in the red by 2 million, but in the projection it says that every year we will earn about 6 million... now, in this situation, what advice could you give me? ps: I have a few over paid players to sell.. pps: i don t know if is the correct space in the forum to create this thread..
  5. This corner routine is the same for all of my tactics.. role by role i change but the idea's is the same... looks stats! It's not a break ME, but I try to replicate the real career!
  6. In the default PI, the Wing-Back has "Go wide with ball", I wouldn't set this PI to fullback, but I would set "go forward".. do you agree? to ensure that it is proposed in the offensive phase and remains "behind" in the offensive phase..
  7. Thanks for your advice, I will definitely try it and leave you feedback. In the PI, would you still set "go ahead" and the other PIs that I set? except "widening with the ball" ..?
  8. Be more expressive increase the responsability area of players.. in negative transition, is not a good solution increase the liberty movement for me.. For pass into space, 50/50... i can try.. but in my tactic idea if i'am high on the pitch, where are the area where i can put the ball? isn t there a lot of space and another thing, decrease the possession of ball with a long passes forward..
  9. Hi!! i found a great solution! right now since I made this tactical change, 4 matches and 4 wins. . battuto Parma and Cittadella at home, Benevento and Sampdoria (Coppa Italia this) away. . the change I made, though, I had to do without a game aspect that I liked very much, the Half-Back. . i replaced him with a defensive midfielder, compared to the Half Back remains more advanced on the pitch during the construction phase, and if I lose ball I am not with the defensive centrals that are not wide and therefore with so much space for the opponents to hurt me… with the defensive midfielder with duty defending I feel good, I don’t scale like the Half Back but with much coverage in front of the centrals. . for now, it is a better solution.. and the central defender are both with defend duty with “less pressing”.. we have a much higher defensive line and both central defender with less pressing are good solution in transition phase.. so.. if anyone has any advice to perfect this tactic, not only defensive phase but also offensive phase or in general tactic, please tell me because I am curious to confront myself. . thanks
  10. so you are from the school “adapt tactics to players” compared to “players to tactics”?? 😅
  11. Ok, infact i want that my players are fluid in the pitch, not more fluid, beacuse is too much and I need very good players with good mental skill to do it. so, it possible to click or not.. it depend.. but i believe in what you say, it depend to what you watch in the pitch and who is your opponent! great thread!
  12. Yes, i think the same! but i’ve a question.. if, for example, i’ve PF-att and two IW-So in the tactic base, if i change players during the match, i put in the pitch a creative forward and other two wide players with more attacking attribute, i change PF-Att in DLF-So (or F9) and the wide players into IF-att, the fluidity of squad obviusly changes… you put “more creativity” in team instruction to return on your fluid squad (for example) or you remain in flexible?
  13. Hi Drikcey75 and thanks for your answer.. - no, my best faster defender have 11 and 10 more or less.. this is the focus for next window transfer!! -i try to click “no mark” at HB, but i doesnt see some difference.. -at the beginning my central defender are both in cover duty, but i change to defense because they create a “hole” from defense to HB, and i dont like it. but, i wait more info for another guys for this tips. thanks for your help however! i thinking to change HB in DM-Def, because with HB, if we lost the ball in the central of the pitch (RPM or CM, or maybe fullback) the central defeders are so wide, and there are more space in the central.. more goal are made in this way… so, i thinking this… is it a solution to remove “stay wide” at wing back? Beacuse if wing back are “standard wide” maybe the Central Def are more close to the center of the pitch (my idea).. but, however, i wait some tips for expert guys!
  14. I'm having some post-patch 23.4 problems, and I don't know if it's the fault of the tactic or of something that has changed or even the management of the locker room on my part, however I wanted to ask you if you find something strange in my tactic. I'll make some introductions... I used this tactic for 4 years with Roma with excellent results; it's based on the principles of ball possession and immediate recovery of the ball. You are now using a mid-table Italian Serie B team. Can anyone tell me if they see any oddities because I find everything very consistent with the tactical idea, but I find that I really concede a lot of goals in the space between the full-back and the central defender (I tried to remove width from the full-back but it's the same) and above all I do 20 shots per game and 4 on goal.. Here team instruction: In spoiler individual instruction My question are: - if i put central defenders on cover, is it better than defend duty? -A pressing system squad is ok? -If i put "take more risk" at PF, can i have more chance? -Direct pass at RPM is a good thing? or better anyone have direct pass? Thanks guys!!
  15. Sorry, which is your skin? i see a lot of information the tactic panel..
  16. Hi All!! I wanted to ask for some suggestions to make my tactic effective even against 3 defenses (or any 3-back tactic), with which I find some difficulty. I play with a 4-3-3, based on ball possession, Half-Back, double pivot in central of midfield (RPM and DLP-S), two inverted wingers (Support) who cut inside like IF and a PF-A. Fairly narrow with very short passes and more pressing with high pressing and very high defense line. The only thing I do when I face 3-man defenses is set "stay wide" to the offensive wingers, so that they start wider and try to open the 3 opposing central defenders, but I have no other suggestions to adopt to be dangerous. Considering that I haven't a Central Midfielder that he can go forward but i've only RPM that he can move into channels (isn't the same movement). Do you have any suggestions? Thank you
  17. ahahha... thanks guys... so, your suggestions is, take the project in your hands, and put it in the team... delete players that aren't in this project, manage your best players, grow up your best younger player.. first and second seasons are the base of the future and the results are not more important... i understaind your suggestions?
  18. Yes, it's true.. i've a question, i take a look at DNA System, in particoular: - First Touch -Passing -Decision -Determination -Teamwork -Fitness -Resistence I think this is the DNA of this football.
  19. Yes, but my forward isn't good enough I continue to try this football and make a lot of detail, in particular in the defensive phase.
  20. Hi guys! Little question, when i've back 3, central defender with a cover duty, when i make to hold position and why? change his movement? make diagonal defensive?
  21. This is what i mean when i say "Play with decision" 2023-03-09 10-12-08.mp4
  22. Thanks @SixPointer! I've try to replicate Gasperini and Atalanta tactic in FM23, now i test my creation with new patch, but i think that works good.. The big difference is to move the two midfielder central to defensive midfielder, one DLP-S and one DM-S.. try to replicate both WCB, in my tactic are in Defense, but i think that in Support on the Right are be better. So, i continue to see what the tactic do and tell you something
  23. did you think that DM with "go forward" is a choice? or only SV?
  24. Nice, but SV haven't the PI "hold position", i want a role that can i active the Pi if i need, and the DM have this, know what i mean?
