  1. @knap have you had much luck with your venon and faith thus far? Prefer 2 man up front formations.

  3. End Of Season Results A much better season here and with us finishing the season in style and very nearly getting automatic promotion. Play Offs Into the playoffs we went. We thumped Charlton at their place 6-0 which enabled me to rest our first 11 and save them from tired legs. It worked in the end as we beat Salford 1-0 with defender Roe popping up back post to send us to the Championship. League Table A great season from us! FA Cup What a run this was. A mental 9-4 win against 8 man Premier League side Wolves before we eventually fell to Liverpool in the semi finals! Carabao Cup A tough 2nd round draw meant we exited the competition early! EFL Trophy We made it our of the groups with our backups players before falling to Plymouth in the 2nd round! Player Review - Zac Wilton (YP30C) A very good season from him as he scored 15 goals and got 7 assists in just 21 (13) appearances! Player Of The Season - Barnabas Victor (YP25C) Our main man again in terms of goalscoring. 37 goals this season and finishing 3rd in the golden boot. A ridiculous 21 assists to go along with that! Young Player Of The Season - Dale Roe (YP29E) Our young player of the season and for one big reason alone. He scored the goal that is sending us to the Championship! Outside of that though he had a fantastic season averaging 7.07 whilst grabbing 6 goals and 2 assists! Other News We have relocated to our new stadium. Just over 13k capacity with room for it to grow to 26k! Youth
  4. Improvements The FA Cup run has enabled us to improve both the youth and training facilities. Hoping this will really start to help us in the long run with players coming in with better CA in the youth intakes and quicker development of the players in terms of CA when they are at the club.
  5. FA Cup Semi Final It was a valiant effort and we were only 2-1 down before the red card. After then they really took control! An amazing run by us!
  6. Dream Cup Run We are into the semi final of the FA Cup. We have had a very kind run thus far only playing one Premier League team in Wolves who we somehow nicked a replay off before beating their 8 men (yes 8 MEN!) a ridiculous 9-4 at home which set up the above tie against Championship Bournemouth who we have just beaten! Hopefully a money spinner for us!
  7. Youth Intake 2032 Overview A good intake. No one immediately ready for first team football apart from potentially Bednarz and possibly Lankester who I am planning to retrain as a striker! The Players YP32A - Tom Biggs YP32B - Charles Lankester YP32C - Marius Bednarz YP32D - Declan Hamilton YP32E - Callum Gibson YP32F - Russell Banks YP32G - Lloyd Giddings YP32H - Steven Wells YP32I - Jim Baxter YP32J - Zac Bone-Dalby YP32K - Bryn Hoskins Nationalities English - 109 Welsh - 11 Irish - 8 Northern Irish - 6 Scottish - 2 Portuguese - 2 Guyanese - 2 Australian - 2 Polish - 2 German - 1 Tanzanian - 1 Finnish - 1 Nigerian - 1 Belgian - 1 Jamaican - 1 Spanish - 1 Sierra Leone - 1 Estonian - 1 Swedish - 1 Polish - 1 French - 1 Gibraltarian - 1 Albanian - 1
  8. Another One Bites The Dust Well another main striker gone after we lost Stringfellow and Thompson. It is decent money but not the greatest sell on percentage but has helped our struggling balance!
  9. Youth Intake Preview Lets hope some of those wingers can also play up top!
  10. Summer Transfer Well I knew it was coming and was able to protest the transfer to allow me to renegotiate to increase it to 1.6m with a big sell on percentage. This sale allowed me to quickly go in and update the below!
  11. End Of Season Results It was a struggle as expected but we played well in patches which ultimately led to our survival! League Table We wanted to be better than 4 teams this season and anything else was a bonus. We finished 18th and had survival guaranteed with a game to spare! FA Cup Another 3rd round appearance here which ended up with a 4-1 defeat away to Leicester! Carabao Cup A good win in the first round but the backup players were comfortably beaten by Southampton! EFL Trophy Again utilised for our backup players and we were heading through until Southend scored in the 94th minute to knock us out at the group stage! Player Review - Gary Moore (YP30A) Now fully capped with Gibraltar he has become one of our starting wingers. 5 goals and 12 assists this season! Player Of The Season - Tom Thompson (YP29D) We struggled to keep him in the January transfer window and had to protest a transfer on deadline day. 16 goals and 5 assists this season. I will be be upping his asking price in the hope of scaring away suitors! Young Player Of The Season - Luke O'Boyle (YP29C) A very impressive season this year. Played rotationally up top scoring 15 goals and 4 assists in only 25 (2) appearances! Youth
  12. Youth Intake 2031 Overview The Players YP31A - Manu Abelleira YP31B - Marvin Trautner YP31C - Warren Rush YP31D - Nick Jewell YP31E - Andrew Clarke YP31F - Shane Brothers YP31G - Andrew Matthews YP31H - Diogo Pereira YP31I - Callum Clark YP31J - Ben Tanner YP31K - Stuart Sandford YP31L - Kenny Ingrey YP31M - Ross Brunt YP31N - Quincy Moore YP31O - Kenny Chaffey Nationalities English - 101 Welsh - 10 Irish - 7 Northern Irish - 6 Scottish - 2 Portuguese - 2 Guyanese - 2 Australian - 2 German - 1 Polish - 1 Tanzanian - 1 Finnish - 1 Nigerian - 1 Belgian - 1 Jamaican - 1 Spanish - 1 Sierra Leone - 1 Estonian - 1 Swedish - 1 Polish - 1 French - 1 Gibraltarian - 1 Albanian - 1
  13. Transfer Clause Gibbs is off to Melbourne Victory for 900k which gets us some money to help with our ever depleting finances!
  14. Summer Transfers Out 3 loans out but the big one is losing Stringfellow in a deal I couldnt even protest. A really poor amount with next to no add ons!
  15. End Of Season Results Our team really developed this season now that we are professional. We do play attacking football which can backfire at times but is definitely entertaining. We are now covered in most areas in terms of no real weaknesses which shows as we finished 6th and got into the playoffs. Playoffs The story of the playoffs was red cards. The first leg against Gillingham was a classic and it was very tight until a last minute winner by us. The 2nd leg saw Gillingham have 2 men sent off early in the 2nd half which enabled us to dominate and batter them 5-0. In the final Accrington were down to 10 men after 8mins. This turned the game completely and enabled us to go up. League Table An amazing first season at this level! FA Cup We managed to get to the 3rd round but Reading wee too good for us. Carabao Cup Utilised the reserves here and they did well to get through the first round on penalties before losing the next round in the same manner. EFL Trophy Handy for giving some of the backup players some minutes here to aid development. Kept all games tight! Player Review - Alimamy Sesay He is capped 6 times by Sierra Leone now and developing really well and is first choice centre back now. 7 goals and 3 assists in 44 appearances! Player Of The Season - Barnabas Victor We struggled to keep him in the summer but once his unhappiness went away we were able to lock him down to a new deal. He scored 24 goals and got 18 assists in 49 games! Starting to be used in the AMC role now as well now that we have more options up top! Young Player Of The Season - Luke O'Boyle An amazing breakout season by him as he scored 17 goals in 27 games! Other News We needed this but in terms of our finances the projections do not look good after this loan! Youth
  16. U18's Nice to see this! We are definitely starting to progress and more players coming through are getting game time at these levels to develop instead of coming in and straight into the first team squad.
  17. Youth Intake 2030 Overview Well hello! Our first intake as a professional club and it shows. We have 3 players who will come straight into the first team in Moore, Stringfellow and Wilton with both Berberi and Cairns are not far off either! Nice to see 2 new nationalities in Gibraltarian and Albanian! The Players Just going to show those who are coming up into the first team now. I will do squad reviews moving down the line for those who may join the first team after a season or 2 of development! I like the look of Moore as a winger. Good pace and acceleration and has good technique and touch with dribbling and crossing not far off double figures also! Will come straight into our first team squad and get game time! The most complete player we have had come through so far. Will come in as a starting striker for us. Not sure how long we will be able to keep him but will try and tie him down to a long term contract as soon as possible! Another solid striker option here and will become our 4th choice striker! Will be brought up to the first team next season to be our backup DM! Another solid winger here who isnt far off coming up to the first team as a backup! Nationality Watch English - 89 Welsh - 9 Irish - 7 Northern Irish - 6 Scottish - 2 Portuguese - 2 Guyanese - 2 Australian - 2 Polish - 1 Tanzanian - 1 Finnish - 1 Nigerian - 1 Belgian - 1 Jamaican - 1 German - 1 Sierra Leone - 1 Estonian - 1 Swedish - 1 Polish - 1 French - 1 Gibraltarian - 1 Albanian - 1
  18. Summer Transfers Out Parsons and Hayball were lost on frees. Hamilton was no longer required despite being our 4th or 5th choice centre back. Others have higher potential and with his limited potential I decided it was best to move him on. Carlile was the big one. With our current financial state now the board jumped in and accepted a frankly awful offer. We do have a sell on at least so if he reaches his potential could get us some decent £££.
