The Save Decided to go extremely difficult here. Level 10 in the English leagues and doing youth only challenge. The Club Holland play in the Eastern Counties League Division 1 South and are nicknamed Mighty Holland! They play at the Rush Green Bowl which holds 3000!

End Of Season Results Well we were 1/16 on to win the league and it showed. Only really brought in 3 or 4 first team players and a couple of loans with the rest being young players to fill the squad out. Dominant from the start we didnt lose a game all season eventually winning the grand final 4-0 against Sydney. League Table Easy! Australian Cup We started the season with a cup win. Our first ever game at the Phoenix being a 15-1 win! Transfers In A lot of these where young signings for the future and Olsen was signed by my predecessor. Our main signing was that of Zuliani and the free transfer of McKellar and also our player of the year in Graham! Out All no longer needed! Player Review - Nikola Grgic Pace and dribbling for a winger at this level is all you pretty much need! He got 20 assists and 7 goals this season! Player Of The Season - Anthony Graham Graham was a rock at the back and being 6 foot 5 was deadly in the other box as well. 10 goals and 3 assists for him as he won player of the season! Young Player Of The Season - Shedrack Bello Bello was clinical this season. 32 goals and 10 assists in 30 games. Top scorer in the league and made his debut for the national team!

New Club We are off to the other side of the world and will be joining Wellington Phoenix! They just lost in the Grand Final and amazingly sacked their manager!

End Of Season Results This season we were definitely set up for a title push. We were 2nd favourites behind Kobenhavn but our team were up for the challenge. Entertainment was on show for our fans as we racked up an impressive 93 goals which was 34 more than any other team. League Table We win the title with a few games to spare to complete Denmark. I am actively looking other "island" jobs but if I dont get any I will stay on! Danish Cup Our first run deep into this competition was ended at the semi final stage after a shocking home performance in the 1st leg found us 3-0 down. We did win the 2nd leg but it wasnt enough! Europa League After losing our first 2 games in the group stages I had us finishing bottom. But an amazing turnaround including a 6-0 win over Napoli and a frankly ridiculous 10-1 win away at 8 man Anderlecht sent us through to the knockout stage. We got a very tough draw against Inter and they were simply too good for us running out 5-1 winners on aggregate. Player Review - Liviu Lungu Lungu was named as 42nd in the NxGn list so has some good quality here. We gave him a lot of game time and he has improved immensely. He played 21 (8) times this season and with that spirited personality could go onto big things! Player Of The Season - Ibrahim Opoku Opoku is being chased by a number of clubs and rightfully so. He scored 25 times and got 21 assists this season which is incredible. Shoutout to Mbuyamba who was unlucky not to take this award! Young Player Of The Season - Rolando Ferreira Leite Filled in in a number of positions this season and this enabled him to play a lot of games. In total he got 15 goals and 12 assists in his debut season mainly playing on the wing!

January Transfers Out Well we nearly got through the transfer window but out chairman accepted 2 offers on deadline day. One for Palmer and one for Sung-Won which left us with no time to replace them. I do think we have better players in the team but they are 2 big losses and with Palmer being Danish it isnt great to for homegrown statuses! In

Summer Transfers Loans Out A number of players who are not far off first team football have went out on loan to gain some additional vital first team experience. Transfers Out 9 players left the club permanently in the summer. 3 of which I didnt want to leave but had release clauses in Thomasen, Prpic and Trujillo. Birkso we replaced with a better Danish backup keeper so he left on a free. Laptev couldnt get a work permit so we sold him instead of losing him on a free in the summer. Ojeda, Saponara, Claveria and Lombardi would have been good squad players but were getting on a bit and I want to concentrate on those younger players so got money for them where I could! In A lot of players brought in again but quite a few are prospects who arent at first team level yet. We spent some money bringing in some decent Danish players in Johanesson and Nathansen to bolster our quotas for Europe. Made some big signings to replace those lost to their release clauses in Mancini and Carro as well as some other smart signings for the team. End Of Season Results Initially we were very up and down in this division probably a lot due to the sheer amount of change in the team. We really hit form when the Championship Group hit (despite losing 2 of the first 3). Winning 6 of our last 7 games was huge for us which enabled..... League Table A European finish! We actually overtook Nordsjaelland on the last day of the season thanks to goals scored which bumped us into Europa League spots! A great first season but overtaking Kobenhavn might be a big challenge as they finished 23pts clear and lost only once all season! Danish Cup Another fairly early exit again at the hands of Midtjylland! Player Review - Michael Van Amersfoort Had a very good season and has developed nicely. Big potential here and could be great for this level! Player Of The Season - Ibrahim Opoku Had a very good first season at us. Signed for only 130k he scored an impressive 17 goals and got 11 assists in only 29 (1) appearances! Young Player Of The Season - Park Sung-Won My new strike force really stepped up this season despite both being young. He grabbed 18 goals and got 3 assists in 24 (3) appearances and finished top goalscorer in the league! Other News I have been working on these over the past few seasons and we have made good progress. We have only signed one player thus far from youth intakes but hopefully this should help! We have moved to our new 10k seater stadium!

January Transfers Out 2 free transfers left. Winther being a young player who was far from first team potential. Mujica played a bit last season but had dropped way down the pecking order so left at end of his contract. We also loaned out 5 youngsters for first team experience and ended up selling Nunez just 6 months after buying him as he was unhappy with his playing time. In We brought 3 players in with 2 of them pre-arranged in the summer. The big signing was Portuguese youngster Correia. He looks a very good prospect for us. The other 2 are youngsters with potential. Jose went out on loan at the end of the window and the plan was to also loan Ramirez but as we are short at full back he has been kept around.

First Team Squad - Part 1 Goalkeeper Michael Van Amersfoort Valdemar Birkso Van Amersfoort is our first team keeper so far. Still a bit raw but with good potential so decided to throw him in the deep end. Birkso is an ok backup but as he is Danish he comes in handy! Centre Back Denis Duarte Darren Keegan Xavier Mbuyamba Tyler Trujillo Duarte and Mbuyamba are the 2 current starters with young Americans Keegan and Trujillo being the backups. It is probably one of the areas we need to improve on next season. Full Back Artem Saveljev Rasmus Carstensen Cristiano Lombardi Carstensen and Lombardi are the starters here although Lombardi is much more effective further up the pitch. Saveljev is handy as he covers both sides but I definitely made a mistake by loaning 2 left backs out this summer! Def. Mid Pablo Claveria Liviu Lungu Claveria brings good experience to the team and starts but I think we have a great young player in Lungu who will get a lot of game time to aid development. Wingers David Palmer Luis Maria Fernandez Neider Londono Isra Chema Nunez Tyson Dean Probably our most stacked area of the pitch along with strikers. There are no real stand out starters here as I am rotating a lot but I will look to loan out Dean in January as he is the one getting the least game time and is the most raw. Att. Mid Riccardo Saponara Simon McGrane Aske Thomasen Thomasen and Saponara are pretty much rotating this position between themselves. McGrane is another one I will look to loan out in January to gain more game time. Strikers Dani Ojeda Juan Manuel Boselli Park Sung-Won Ibrahim Opoku Another areas we are quite well covered in. Sung-Won and Opoku were my 2 favourite signings of the summer and look great for this level and they are the 2 main starters although Sung-Won seems to struggle a bit with fitness. Boselli is a very solid loan signing for the season with Ojeda being 4th choice.

Summer Transfers Out Well this was an incredibly busy summer where we lost a lot of first team players and let a lot of young players we brought in go out on loan for first team experience. Some of the big losses where Bogarde who went to Bayer on a free. We also lost 4 players to minimum release fees. Those where starting keeper N'Diaye, Lautenschutz, Douglas and Riccardi. We also sold a few other players for decent money as they were surplus to requirements after those we brought in. In We spent over 3m in bringing in players to build a squad that can compete at this level with a lot of the focus on younger players for the future and my old classic of scouting the US national team and picking up some free transfers! Bit of a risk on deadline day spending 1.7m on a 16 year old Danish prospect but as there arent too much more out there and we require them for squad registration and potentially European football down the line then I had to take the risk! End Of Season 3 - Thisted FC Results We were 3rd favourites for the league after the summer transfer dealings. Sonderjyske being the heavy favourites but they ultimately struggled to push the top 2. We were largely brilliant but did go through some patches of indifferent form. Was it enough? League Table We go back to back as we move up to the top division in Denmark where I am expecting a much tougher challenge. I will do a squad review after this summer as we have lost 3 of our best 4 players to free transfers as they would not negotiate an extension. We have now just turned professional so that should help in keeping players! Danish Cup Not the priority currently so rotated teams where played and gave good accounts of themselves! Player Review - Lamare Bogarde One of those players we are losing on a free after signing him on a free at start of the season. Bayer came calling and hes not going to turn that down! Played 28 times this season grabbing 1 goal and getting 2 assists! Player Of The Season - Denis Duarte A rock at the back for us. Again in on a free transfer after previously being in Russia. Played 27 times scoring an incredible 13 goals (he takes our penalties and free kicks) and getting 1 assist and averaging an impressive 7.37! Young Player Of The Season - Boris Van Schuppen Another we are losing this summer. Came in on a free transfer like most have and impressed in that role just behind the striker. He grabbed 12 goals and got 8 assists and an average rating of 7.44! Other News As we move up to the "big" league our stadium required to be upscaled so we are building a new one and are moving out for a season to allow that to happen!

End Of Season Results We were heavy favourites going into the season after some sensible signings and the 2 big attacking talents we had and it showed. We rumped through the league losing just twice all season. League Table A huge 34pts clear at the end of the season shows just how dominant we are. Danish Cup We got to the 4th round here before one of the bigger first division sides knocked us out. Player Review - Heini Sorenson A very good signing for us as we required u21 players in the first team squad. He has good potential and played 25 games for us last season. Player Of The Season - Mikkel Agger Our main man this season. He scored a very impressive 37 goals in 35 games and also got 15 assists. Lost his striker partner Dieudonne in January and really stepped it up for us! Young Player Of The Season - Aske Thomasen A free transfer signing and one of the stars of the season. Hoping to lock him down to a longer contract once we turn professional. He got 31 assists (yes 31) and 11 goals it what was an astonishing season. Other News Could be big for us going down the line as we try and compete with the bigger sides.

Attacking Talents Again we have 2 big hitters up top similar to what we had with Constanta!

Island Challenge Part 2 New Club We are off to Denmark. Thisted struggled last season only just getting clear of relegation by 1pt! This should be a much harder job!

End Of Season Results Well this was one of the easiest seasons I have had in FM22. We hit the ground running and just didnt stop whilst everyone around us struggled immensely! We finished comfortably top! League Table A very straightforward league win for us. We got clear and pulled away further and further as the season went on. Helped by the fact we had 2 of the top 5 bookmakers favourites to be top scorer! Romanian Cup We made it a double with a thumping 6-0 cup final win! Player Review - Ewerton Was a great free transfer signing. A fantastic average rating 7.47 scoring 8 times and providing 3 assists. Leaving at the end of the season on a free as we couldnt afford to renew! Player Of The Season - Michael Omoh A huge reason for our success was this man. Scoring 29 times in 26 games with an average rating of 7.66 and also grabbing 6 assists! Young Player Of The Season - David Miculescu Our big signing of the summer really was a big success. Playing mainly on the right but sometimes filling in further up the pitch he grabbed 17 goals and 5 assists and made his debut for Romania! Transfers Out One big sale here in Castaneda as he wasnt really going to be utilised and it enabled us to go out and buy a young Romanian winger! In Mainly free transfers apart from our signing of young Romanian winger Miculescu.

The Save I have been struggling with getting into a bunch of saves recently that was until the chat in the general discussion thread around Island teams. @Makoto Nakamura amazingly did a list of these which you will see below. The plan for me is to win the top division of each country with one of these island teams. I might push this to a European trophy in some of the bigger leagues! The Teams I have taken out some countries which would require custom databases and will only do the ones which are playable in the standard game apart from Brazil as I do not have the name fix! That leaves: Australia Denmark England (did not know that about Portsmouth!!) Finland France Greece Holland Hong Kong Iceland Indonesia Ireland Italy Malaysia Norway Portugal Romania Russia Spain South Korea Wales Rules Win the national league with an island team from that country before moving on! No rules on transfers at all! Starting Club We are off to Romania for our first job! Farul play in the top tier and are tipped to finish 6th! 6 players from Romania must be in each match squad and we must have 1 Romanian u21 player in our starting 11!
