Struggling to get into a new save that I can write updates about. Think I might go down the home grown route again where I can only sign players who are 18 or under so that they become home grown at club. Anyone recommend any countries they enjoyed outside of the big 5? I preferably want to stay in Europe.

Mid Season Review 2025-26 Results We started off well but have struggled due to our squad size. We managed to keep everyone but have a squad full of youth players now and with not much strength in depth. League Table Again its going to be a case off lets be better than 3 other teams and we currently are! FA Cup A winnable tie! Carabao Cup Well what a run. Outside of the Southampton penalty win we have been fairly lucky in the teams we have been drawn against! 8th in the PL Wolves are up next in a semi final! Goalkeeper Watch O'Kavanagh has played 25 (1) appearances this season but is yet to get off the mark! Williams has played 5 times and got 1 goal! Player Review - James Saunders (YP23I) Now our main centre back. Developing well but is starting to garner interest from some PL teams! Youth Intake Preview Doesnt look great. End Of Season 2024-25 Results Well it was always going to be a struggle for us this season and it was! We lost our last 6 games but had we done enough prior to that? League Table We did enough! Finishing above 4 teams in the end despite our losing streak at the end of the season. We were a very entertaining team scoring 70 and conceding a crazy 102 goals! FA Cup Out at the first stage to PL Palace! Carabao Cup Out at the first round here as well as our backup players struggled! Goalkeeper Watch O'Kavanagh played 43 times this season scoring 3 times and has now played 10 times for the Irish u21 squad! Williams played 5 times this season getting 1 goal! Transfers Well we lost 2 big players this season. 1 in the summer and 1 in January. It brought a decent amount of money in but it was money we didnt really require! McNessie is now in Villa's u21 squad and hasnt played at all yet for the first team. I may look at a potential loan move next season! Stephens is in Leicester u21 squad so I may try the same! Player Of The Season - Bigger Omeonga (YP23A) This man ended up the top scorer in the whole league with 31 goals as well as 6 assists! Young Player Of The Season - Daniel McLean (YP23K) A surprise young player of the season. Despite having 1 of the lower PA's of the first intake he really has progressed well this season starting mainly on the right wing. He played 26 (3) times scoring 5 times and getting 8 assists! Another One Bites The Dust Well we did our best to keep the sharks from swarming but despite protesting this transfer once they came back with a bigger offer and we lost another starter and big prospect.

Mid Season Review 2024-25 Results As expected this season was going to be a struggle. Our aim is to be better than 3 other teams! League Table Currently we are better than 3 other teams and if it stays that way I will be delighted! FA Cup Not a great first draw. The backup players will be getting this game as survival is more important. Carabao Cup Our backup players were knocked out in the first round as expected Goalkeeper Watch O'Kavanagh is again having a solid season despite our struggles. Only the 1 goal but has 5 man of the matches to his name! Williams has only played twice but has 1 goal from those 2 games! Transfers The one big out as McNessie leaves. As promised any non youth graduate contracts have been released. We are now down to 4 non youth team graduates in the first team. 3 of these will leave in the summer with the one remaining the summer after. Player Review - Kenneth Stephens (YP23C) Really progressing well. Just had an offer of around 6m from Brentford. Hoping we can keep a hold of him. End Of Season Results In the end we had a great season clinching promotion on the final day! League Table The top 5 was all incredibly tight. We took over 2nd place after our victory over Morecambe and thumped Lincoln on the last day! FA Cup A good run here was ended by Brighton in the 4th round. Carabao Cup A full youth team fought valiantly in this tight defeat away to West Brom Papa John Trophy Again this was utilised to play the younger players. After getting through the group stage they were knocked out by Colchester. Goalkeeper Watch O'Kavanagh (YP23E) had a very solid season scoring 9 goals in 55 appearances. Williams (YP24L) managed one appearance in which he won man of the match! Player Of The Season - Bigger Omeonga (YP23A) Omeonga I am going to predict will be the next one to be chased by a lot of top flight clubs and we may struggle to keep him. Mid-Season Review 2023-24 Results A very good season thus far. With our squad depth being stretched at times we have had some rough patches recently which is to be expected. League Table We sit 2nd but in a very congested league where only 8pts separated the top 8! FA Cup A kind run thus far in the first few rounds. Solihull are in the National League so expect a 4th round tie! Carabao Cup A very young team put up a great effort away to West Brom. Papa John Trophy Utilised this for all the young players where I could. Some good first team experience for them. Getting through the group stage before coming unstuck against Colchester. Goalkeeper Watch Thrown in at the deep end Jimbo O'Kavanagh has done very well thus far. Progressing and developing well he has also scored 5 goals thus far. 4 from the spot and 1 free kick! Player Review - Nicky Batth (YP23H) Full back is a position we are not really covered in with older centre backs having to play in those positions. Batth (YP23H) I am playing at right back to get him game time and exposure to first team football. He has also covered over at left back with the hopes he can be a utility player for us. He has played 26 games already and got 5 assists! Youth Intake Preview Another very good preview. The only downfall being no left backs. Lets hope the wing back can drop back there! Squad With the transfers and all of those who have been released it has left our squad pretty thin (I did not realise the sheet amount of contracts running out in the summer). Good news is it means the youth players will be thrown into the deep end!

Transfers Got rid of a few players in transfers and also released a massive amount whos contracts ended. As previously stated I will not be renewing any contracts for those players who are not youth graduates from an intake.

Unfortunately I have had a massive corruption on my laptop and had to re-build. I will be starting a new Youth Only Save which I will link below. This is a created club and I will allow readers to pick any of my youth intake and they will be named after them. I have done this on previous versions and I hope those that have followed here will follow this also.

The Save The premise for this save is a youth only save using a created club. I will be also allowing the readers to have their name in the game also. With each intake all players I have signed will be available to be renamed to your name or a name of your choosing. To ensure we can get the name in the game quicker I will be maxing out the facilities with the caveat that I will not renew any current players contracts! I will be holidaying until the first intake! End Of Season Review Results An incredible half of a season as we went unbeaten in the league winning 19 and drawing 3 of our 22 games in the league since I took charge. Yeboah has been scoring at a crazy rate! League Table We sneak into the CL spots which is great considering we were 18th when I joined. Shows you how under performing the squad has been! Italian Cup Our first cup at Atalanta is the Italian Cup. We rode our luck against Inter as they were comfortably the better side. Against Torino we won the first leg comfortably I rotated most of the squad which nearly turned into disaster. We lost the game 3 nil but managed to squeak through on penalties. In the final we were again 2nd best but clinical! Player Of The Season - Kelvin Yeboah Since I joined in mid December Yeboah has scored 30 of his 39 goals which led to him gaining his first cap for Italy at the age of 28 and finishing top scorer in the league with 35 goals! Young Player Of The Season - Mattia Nigretti When I sold Rodriguez in the January transfer window Nigretti was our only out and out left back left in the first team. He has been thrown in the deep end but has performed admirably. Youth Progression

January Transfer Window In I raided the old club to pick up 2 of my young graduates. Bryson I will give game time when I can but is still somewhat some distance from being first team ready. Schepens will come in as our backup striker currently. Its an area we dont have much in in terms of out and out strikers so this should help. Out I went a bit mental in my clearout. The squad was ridiculously bloated with old players who arent just up to it anymore. I may have took some risks here if we get a number of injuries or suspensions as some of the older players would have been 2nd or 3rd choice.

Transfers In There was already a pre-arranged transfer for January before I joined the club and it was Fuentes from Deportivo Pereira in Colombia on a free. He will be a backup at best!
