  1. Can you fix your image? Assuming that was your tactic screenshot? I'd love to see and congratulations on a great season. How did the CL turn out?
  2. But do any of those options allow you to set tactics or really control transfers? Ive never explored any of these things.
  3. I've been trying to think of what I want to do for FM23 and this really is sounding appealing to me. Time to research this fully and come up with a multiple team plan!!
  4. I did a thread exploring how to tactically recreate this. There's some good reasoning behind what I tried there and others in the community with valuable alternative suggestions as well. May be worth a read. I did settle on a HB-d although others argued against it. I was happy with my midfield three and with the SS ina striker less instead of a F9. https://community.sigames.com/forums/topic/544815-tactical-series-guardiola-evolution-class-3-teams-3-styles/
  5. With winger and a wingback, I'd probably take off work ball into box and let those guys cross a little more. On balanced mentality I think you don't need the extra caution in the final third. Id maybe switch the BBM to the right, he will have more space to move into and may offer a later target for the WB. This will also give more space for the IF.
  6. I'm further along in my save, would giving you those files now help?
  7. I have stay wider on the AMR, and stay narrow on the FB on the right
  8. Had my best season ever for production from an AMC. Not only that, but the backup also was stellar. I'll post tactic below. It was very great to see production from the number 10, we won the Premier League but lost the CL final to Real Madrid in Extra time. Bummed by that. Starter Backup
  9. Instead of Wingers, have you tried inverted wingers? On support, they can be told to stay wider and hold position. This can mimic the winger in phase 1 and 2 but in the final third they will get more central and support the striker, whilst encouraging the overlap from behind. I use this very often, and a FB-s behind that will work well.
  10. Players aren't allowed to do this within the tactical creator, which makes sense based on the role's intended function. However, I've noticed Inter is doing this. Here is what I'm seeing.
  11. Excited to be getting rewards and great statistical gameplay from my young star AMC. He plays mostly as a Trequartista in the AMC spot, but sometimes I switch to AMC-A with PIs.
  12. Arsen Zhakaryan was great for me in parts of my Arsenal save.
  13. Thanks I like those first two ideas. His left foot is reasonably strong so don't need that. But, heck even KdB uses the outside of his foot sometimes
  14. I had not thought of some of these. Curious about the last, as he's not a striker so hadn't thought of that. I had thought about moves into channels and plays one twos.
  15. I figured this would be a good place to ask for some player advice. It's time to start working on some PPMs for one of my younger AMC guys. He either plays some as a Mezzala in a 433 or as an AMC in a 4231. Due to his lower vision, I often don't have him play as the team's playmaker, he's more of a space explorer, runner, kind of a hybrid creator/scorer. What PPMs would you go for?
  16. Is this only possible if you are controlling scouting assignments? I couldn't find it when my Chief scout is doing it.
  17. How do you scout a whole competition? For example, the European football championship, as I want to scout all of the national teams over the summer. I know how to find the competition, go to matches, and invididually scout each game, but this is tedious. I'd think there is a way to scout the competition as a whole very quickly.
  18. @Johnny Ace also I'm dense, meant to link your FM22 thread...
  19. I need some fresh help here bud. I'm pretty set on my 4231DM on all roles except the top 4. I'd like to use a Treq at AMC, what are good roles for runners on the wings and up top but that won't crowd the Treq for space?
  20. I love seeing the passing connections from each of the three in my center spine (HB, Regista, Treq)
  21. Not littered per se. The wingers both have stay wider. I either give them roam from position, or leave that off and tell team to play more expansive, but prefer the first. The wingback on automatic is done to give hold position. Both wingbacks are set to wider. The BPD's are set to wider. Those are the only "necessary" PI's
  22. I've been having a lot of fun with one of my most unique tactics I've built. It's a hybrid 4231/433, with two deep midfielders in the 4231 setup. It's not too different from some of the original posts in this thread. By using a HB-d, we defend with a back three, and also build up well out of the back and recycle possession well. I've put a Regista next to him, and a Treq in front in the AMC slot. Effectively, what I'm doing is establishing a strong team structure of players at the back and on the flanks, with a creative spine through the middle of the park. You have the HB-d, Regista, and Trequartista almost all lining up in the center of the pitch from back to front. It's very pleasing. Additionally, all three of these players have high teamwork and roaming functionality. So, we effective can play to either flank, and all three players (but in different ways/movement patterns) will move toward that flank and assist with supporting play and overloading the flank. It's been sexy and fun. The movements result in a similar 316 type of play, although you have to watch the matches to see it because of the fluidity. One thing I've found important to get these three central roles to really shine is to have some of your best players here, but they have to have high teamwork and work rate. This will ensure they do more positional swapping, supporting of both flanks, etc. A 5-0 drumming of Liverpool at Home. I'm Arsenal (2027 btw) Here's a pass map, great triangles here, although the positioning isn't 100% accurate. 6 is the HB, he typically is in line with the two defenders, but he does move forward of them to the half circle when the team gets into the final third, so that's why it shows further up. Here is the average position when in possession. Similarly, the Regista is quite often in the dead center of the pitch. The regista will even support play all the way to the left flank. The two wingers are told to stay wide, which helps stretch out the channels. They will both cut inside more when the ball is on their flank, but stay wider when possession is in the own half or opposite flank. The yellow circle shows the area of mutual help, and the blue lines show the area of cooperation, the team's defining of the space of play, which is stretching the defense. Overall, the tactic has been one of my favorites and sticks mostly to positional play principles. Performance wise, we've won the premier league 3 years in a row, but unfortunately just runner's up in the Champions League to Liverpool winning in 2026.
  23. What is your tactic? Do you do any adjustments for big matches? Also, what is your training schedule like for the week of the big game?
  24. Wow, you learn something new about this game every day! This is great, I can save my first choice team and then my 2nd choice rotation! Love it
