  1. The Lilies November & December 2027 Results We are struggling domestically but starring in Europe! We took a valuable point at Celtic park, then lost to Hamburg at home. We also failed to beat Eintracht in the Hessen Derby. Gent was defeated in the Europa League before we lost to Hamburg for the 2nd time this month to go out of the DFB Pokal. Freiburg defeated us before we came back with a bang to trash Astana 3-0. The points were shared in a draw against Augsburg at home and then finally we won a league game again: 2-1 against Hannover. 3 days later we lost at Leverkusen again. Bundesliga Table We dropped quite some positions. Europe We are doing great in Europe though.
  2. We will see in the future. Not yet though
  3. Damn! Now that the new update is out, i am very tempted to start a new save with Athletic! Have to give this a big thought at home...
  4. The Lilies September & October 2027 Results Wow the calender was packed with games the last 2 months! We did well in the beginning but a little tiredness set in versus the end of October and we had to rotate a lot. September began with an expected defeat against Bayern, then we won our first Europe League game against Celta in style. Cologne away was next and we were able to win there as well. In Europe, we continued with a win in Italy at Salerno and defeated Schalke 2-1 at home. This was followed by two 1-0 wins against Nurnberg respectively Leipzig, before our home game against Braga brought us our first loss in the Europa League. We somehow lost our confidence and also lost our next home game against Stuttgart. At least we could record a win again in the DFB Pokal against 2.Bundesliga outfit Duisburg before we lost at Hoffenheim in a match where both defenses simply did not exist. Bundesliga Table Still going strong despite the recent loss of our good form. Europe Looking good in Europe as well.
  5. Money seems too tight to mention, but with players like that you should be fine this season
  6. The Lilies August 2027 Results Our best start into a season yet! Amateur side Lichtenberg played well and made it way tougher than expected but we progressed to round 2 of the DFB Pokal where we will play MSV Duisburg at home. Then we went to Mainz and won. Wolfsburg visited us a week later but was sent home without points. And to end the month we defeated Gladbach. Bundesliga Table Perfect points after 3 games. Europe These are our opponents in the Europa League.
  7. The Lilies July 2027 Transfers Damn Saudis! They lured Singo into the desert. At least the money was ok. Bader and Mehlem went too as they were seeking a new challenge. Weißhaupt was signed because of his versatility: He can play almost everywhere. We needed a new right Wing Back and so Roberts came in and he can play on both sides. Rohl provides options in central midfield. Cittadini and Aka were signed as backups for the central defender position. Same goes for veteran striker Volland but in attack. The other players were signed to fill up our U19 team. The Team Goalkeepers Schuhen remains our first choice keeper, but Urbig will be his successor. Bredlow is the 3rd man. Key Player: Marcel Schuhen Defenders No big changes. We got some more options. Key player: Andrei Borza Midfielders We got even more options on the wings now. Key Player: Rodrigo Villagra Attackers Pellegri is the first choice, but Zeba came back from a successful loan spell at 2.Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin where he scored 9 goals in 25 games. Volland is our 3rd choice striker. Key Player: Pietro Pellegri Tactics Those tactics worked well most of the time last season. Board Expectations "Top-half finish" this season? Wow. Tough but managable. Season Preview Looks like Pellegri stands in high regard in the league. Pre-Season Friendlies This should give us confidence.
  8. Pity about the FA Cup Final, but nice finish in the end! Keep it going
  9. Thanks Hopefully we will do better in Europe this time!
  10. What detailed yet comprehensive posts Catching up, I like this!
  11. The Lilies April & May 2027 Results A boring draw with Mainz was followed by the craziest game of the season: The 4-5 defeat against Wolfsburg. We were actually taking the lead 3 times and ended up losing. We made Hertha pay for it one week later. A man-of-the-match performance by keeper Schuhen secured our 1-0 win against favored Leverkusen. Leipzig then beat with a late goal but we kept our heads up and managed a draw in the Hessen-Derby and won against Hamburg to end the season and secure our 5th place. Bundesliga Table We finished in 5th position. A good season again. We were able to consolidate and secure Europa League Football next season. And Pellegrini was voted in the Team of the Year. Youth Intake Again, a very mediocre intake. No outstanding player this time. Oh and our U19s again got relegated from the National U19s League. Season Stats Pellegri is the only regular with an average rating above 7. It surely was a chaotic and crazy season and you can see it how the goals and assists are divided evenly among all players. The star is the team.
  12. Yeah it has been a crazy season Pellegri is already wanted by some bigger clubs, thats true. But we have a real striker gem waiting, he is currently loaned out and banging them in there at the age of 18 already...
  13. The Lilies February & March 2027 Results Mixed results. We lost expectedly to Dortmund, drew away at Stuttgart and won at home against Nuremberg. Losing against Bayern is no shame, albeit keeping the scoreline so close. We were able to beat Heidenheim at home easily and then lost at Freiburg. Augsburg somehow out-darmstadted us and won 3-1 at Merck Stadion. Bundesliga Table Still in contention for european places despite those mixed results. Our striker is leading the goalscorer chart!
  14. The Lilies January 2027 Transfers Racic was getting noisy about playing time, so he went. Kramaric earned his transfer to his home country. Uzun needs playing time and we can´t give it to him right now so he was loaned to Augsburg. Villagra is a fine defensive midfielder, strange to find him without a contract. And we look into the future by signing talented keeper Urbig. Results Thank you, Winter Break! We also defeated 3. Liga outfit Magdeburg in a friendly to finally record a win again. It worked wonders as we trashed first Hamburg and then Hannover. And what a great performance at Anfield to avoid defeat! 3 days on we defeated Hoffenheim and 4 days later lost to PSG before drawing with Cologne 3 days later. The many games surely got to us at the end of the month. Somehow I am glad we are out of the Champions League now. Remarkable stat: Pellegri scored 6 goals in January. Bundesliga Table We are still alive! Europe We have to admit that playing in europe, especially in the Champions League came far too early for our team and it showed. We had a remarkable game at Anfield but thats about it. We still need to learn.
  15. Thing is, it came out of a sudden... but the winter break should help healing
  16. Absolutely. The winter break came at the right time
  17. The Lilies November & December 2026 Results Crisis! We managed only ONE win in 2 months! At one point we started to lose more and more games. We started November with the defeat at Porto, which was predictable though. Then we drew at home against Mainz and won at Wolfsburg. So it´s all well then? No. Newcastle made short work of us in the CL, we couldn´t beat promoted Hertha at home, went out in the DFB Pokal against Freiburg, suffered a harsh defeat at Leverkusen, then lost our next home game in the CL against Lazio and the following home game against Leipzig. We ended the year with a draw in the Hessen Derby. Morale is way down by now, the winter break comes at the right time. Bundesliga Table We came crashing down. Europe In the CL League Phase we are still below the line with only 2 points in 6 games now. Qualification seems way out of reach. Elections Alexander Denk won the Darmstadt presidential elections. He won´t provide any additional financial support though, which is a bit disappointing.
  18. The Lilies September & October 2026 Results Lots of draws in September. Nice ones against vs Dortmund, at Legia and at Fenerbahce in contrast to a rather weak one at Nuremberg. In between we defeated Stuttgart at least. Then came the probably best game from us yet in this save: We won against Bayern! Their tiki taka didn´t work against us defending deep and countering quickly. Still, I am impressed by our performance and surprised that Bayern did not do more. We carrioed that confidence over to Heidenheim and also won at their place. Our run could not go on forever though and it was Manchester United who put an end to it. Wirtz´s brace shortly after the break sealed our fate. Still this did not affect our morale too much and we went on to beat Freiburg and Nuremberg in the DFB Pokal to meet Freiburg in the next round. Then we lost 0-3 at Augsburg. Bundesliga Table Among the big boys. Europe In the CL League Phase however, it does not look good for us. We are below the line with only 2 points in 3 games.
  19. Unlucky against Lazio! Now fingers crossed for the remaining league games
  20. The Lilies August 2026 Results A wonderful, almost flawless start into the new season. Amateur side Homberg was defeated with mostly benchers in the first team, then with the first teamers back we won at Hoffenheim and against Hannover. We were even topping the Bundesliga table for one day! To end the month we managed a draw away at Cologne. Bundesliga Table Leipzig are looking to dominate the Bundesliga.
  21. The Lilies July 2026 Transfers Of course, Klarer´s departure hurt us. But there was no way to prevent this. We needed a good CD replacement now. Undav was sold as well, as was Almasi, so we had to look for new strikers too. Venezoelan national team defender Ferraresi should replace Klarer. Janitzek is another young CD talent. We needed a better right wing back and in came Singo from freshly relegated Union Berlin. And look who is back: We sold Muller 3 years ago to Vitesse, where he blossomed into a good defensive midfielder. Petrovic is another young and talented defensive midfielder. We also signed Alidou for both our wings and Uzun who can play in midfield and attack likewise. For our attack we signed nice young talent Zeba, but he was loaned out straight away to get match practice in the 2.Bundesliga at Union Berlin. Our main target striker this season will be Pellegri, with Traore coming from the bench. The Team Goalkeepers Schuhen is our first choice keeper. Then Bredlow. Then Wendt. Key Player: Marcel Schuhen Defenders We replaced Klarer adequately. Singo increases our quality on the right. Key Player: Nahuel Ferraresi Midfielders Comeback kid Muller goes straight into the first team. Key Player: Marvin Mehlem Attackers Pellegri is the first choice, but Uzun got way more talent. Key Player: Pietro Pellegri Tactics Those tactics worked well most of the time last season. Board Expectations This looks reasonable. Club News Thank you, board! Pre-Season Friendlies Started badly, but then it got better.
  22. Thank you It sure will be tougher but the money eases the pain a bit...
