Baxters Basque Ball Season 2023/24 The Team The team structure looks promising. Simon, Vivian, Sancet, Inaki and Nico Williams are the best of the bunch. The Tactic Employing a simple Gegenpress. The Transfers We sold 2 important players in Nico Williams and Vivian. Money talks. We brought in 2 young talents. Djalo is a winger who can play in the 1st team right away while Vicuna is a central midfielder for our reserve team. . The Season Finish We end up finishing 2nd. A great achievement considering we lost 2 key players in the Winter transfer window. In the Copa del Rey though we went out in the 2nd round. The Team Stats Sancet was la Liga´s player of the Year. New signing Djalo also had some respectable performances. Sancet dominates our player stats. The Youth The intake was fantastic. Especially Burgos is shining bright.

Great choice! I had a save with them in fm23 i think and it was fun af! Strand Larsen can be Deadly up Front and Aspas should have at least 1 great season in him. I recommend keeping hold of Svedberg but i know this is hard. I think CD Dominguez will come good too. Have fun! I will follow 😀

The Lilies February & March 2036 Results I don´t know what happened there. We won the 1st leg comfortably at Benfica and then we inexplicably lost the return leg at home 0-3... The Lilies April & May 2035 Results Exactly. What. a. ride. We managed to win the DFB Pokal again (for the 4th time now) and made it to the Champions League final which we lost in the most dramatic way imaginable, after beating Roma and Barcelona (twice) on the way. I could rant about the ref now, but then again I have no words anymore, I am just proud of the lads! Bundesliga Table Of course there was no way to catch Bayern but this time I am not disappointed. And Celso Jung won the top goalscorer award again. Youth Our U19s were mediocre in the domestic league again but played a great UEFA Youth League again, again reaching the quarter finals. The Lilies January 2035 Transfers We loaned those 2 talents to our new affiliate club Freiburg in the 2.Bundesliga. Wonderkid alert! We signed this 16 year old central defense prodigy from Porto. My Scouts rated him excessively high. Let´s hope for the best then. He goes straight to our U19s. Results What a great evening that was against Napoli!
