  1. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2035/2036 The Summer Departures saw Sunday leave on a free to Schalke and Bronic moving to Real Madrid for 33M (up to 44.5M). Well, good luck there! I personally think that move is far too big for a player of his calibre but what can you do? In June, we signed defender talent Sean Harding from Aston Villa for 9M, In July we signed right winger Alex Pisseri, CMs Taya Ahari and Aldo Pena, and versatile full back Petr Kasalek. Plus backup keeper Christensen and backup striker talent Alkorta. In the Winter Window, we lost our first choice keeper Inigo Franco, who left for Tottenham for 69M. So we replaced him with English U21 keeper Marlon Happe. In goal, we lost Franco in winter, but adequately replaced him with Happe. Our Defense was bolstered with Kasalek on the full back position as he can play on both sides. We added more power in central midfield and in attack there was no big change at all. We won the league by a mile this season. But where was Scott Allan in the scoring chart? Well, he just didn´t play enough this season. We won the cup after beating Hearts in the final. We also won this cup, after beating St. Johnstone in the final. We once more qualfied from the League Phase, but went out against Arsenal in the 1st knockout round after a great comeback in the 2nd leg but it wasn´t to be. This years intake was better than recent seasons and we signed most of the players. We won the domestic treble., despite Scott Allan scoring only 16 goals. A real team effort this season. We added 1 League Title, 1 Scottish Cup & 1 League Cup to our Trophy Cabinet this season.
  2. Thats fantastic!! At the same hilarious and moving! Lovin it!
  3. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2034/2035 The Summer Departures saw our first choice keeper sign for Manchester United for 21.5M, striker Chris Tipple move to Villareal for 23M, central defender Carlos Godoy join Crystal Palace, fellow defender Yahir Salazar went to Saudi-Arabia for 11M and winger Irankunda joined him over there for 8.25M. In the Winter Window, we also lost central anchor Lubos Pulkrab and loaned Sylvain Song out again. Now a look at the Summer Signings: Because we lost our Number One we had to do something an in came Basque keeper Inigo Franco. We also added 2 more center backs in Lucas Guinazu and Nelson Matias. Craig McLaughlin is another signing for the striker role. The other 2 new signings Yarde & Kuffour were loaned out straight away. In the Winter Window, we signed striker Cesar Cabrera and Japanese international center back Tatsuro Nishihara. In goal, Franco is a great upgrade to our former Number One Stokic. Our Defense was bolstered a lot but we had to because we lost a lot of key players there. Now it looks solid again. We added another winger in midfield so no big changes there. Same goes for our attack. We won the league quite comfortably this season. Scott Allan scored the most goals once more. We went out in the quarter finals against Rangers. We also didn´t win the other cup and went out in the semi finals against Hibernian this time. This happens when you play mostly benchers in important games. We once more qualfied from the League Phase, but went out in the first knockout round against Seville. This years intake was not worth mentioning. We only won one title this year. A disappointing season, which is refelected in the stats. We added 1 League Title to our Trophy Cabinet this season.
  4. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2033/2034 A look at the Departures and we see that we lost both our South American wingers, but we made a good buck from that. So we went and spent 28.5M on new signings and brought in 2 new wingers, German international Hagemann and (in the winter window) Koné-Ouattara. And we added one central defender in Czech international Pulkrab. I forgot to take a screenshot of the team in August so this is the team in January. Still looks good. We won the league again but this time it was a lot tighter. Scott Allan again scored the most goals. We were not able to defend this title this season because we lost to Rangers in the quarter finals. But we made up for it by winning the League Cup, having our revenge on Rangers in the final. We qualified from the League Phase easily this time and went on to beat Anderlecht in the playoffs before going out in the Last 16 against Real Madrid. This years intake was rather mediocre. Again. Double winners! And of course Scott Allan scored the most goals again. Looks like our young players are maturing into great players. We added 1 League Title and 1 League Cup to our Trophy Cabinet this season.
  5. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2032/2033 The Summer Departures saw Wilson leave for Villareal for a massive 58M! Borst also left, he wouldve never made it here. There rest were loans. In the winter transfer window, we lost our keeper Diaz to Frankfurt for 16M and Galchev left for Bulgaria. Now for the Summer Signings: Striker Chris Tipple joined from Sunderland, winger Nestory Irankunda arrived on a free and right back Fran Roko Bronic came from Zagreb. Central midfielder Silas Sunday was signed from Midtjyland, winger Paddy Lawler from Rennes and winger Sylvain Song from Norwich, all of them were loaned out though. In the winter window, we had to react to the departure of our first choice goalkeeper Diaz and signed Dean Stokic from Lazio for 10M. And we signed another central defender with Carlos Godoy. In goal, our new number one in Diaz only stayed until winter, then Stokic took over. Our defense has been strengthened with right back Bronic and central defender Goday, in midfield we added more wingers and Tipple had to replace Wilson in our attack. We retained the title! It is FIVE titles in a row now! Allan and new signing Tipple in the goalscorer top 3 chart. We also won the Scottish Cup again. The final against Hibs was a tight affair but in the end we won it. We went out in the semi final again, this time against Dundee. We were able to qualify from the League Phase to the first knockout round again, we were able to overcome Rennes there, but then RB Leipzig proved too strong for us. This years intake was rather mediocre. Double winners! And of course Scott Allan scored the most goals again. But Giles and Tipple were scoring well too. We added 1 Scottish League Title and 1 Scottish Cup to our Trophy Cabinet this season.
  6. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2031/2032 Departures saw Krones leave for 575K and Ross & Woods on loan. The new signings were 2 new players from South America: New keeper Diaz and central defender Salazar. And Peter Borst. In the January window we sold our winger Gordon to Southampton for a massive 24M beside the other departures and we signed central midfielder Nyoni and winger Varajao. In goal, now that Peacock-Farell has left, we got a new number one in Diaz, our defense has been strengthened with central defender Salazar, in midfield we added more wingers and Giles was back from loan and availabe for our attack. We retained the title! It is 4 titles in a row now! Allan once again topped the goalscoring chart. We also won the Scottish Cup again. The final against St.Johnstone surely was a spectacle for the fans! We went out in the semi final against Rangers. We were able to qualify from the League Phase to the first knockout round, but then got drawn against a Giant again and lost the tie against Juventus. This years intake was bad. Double winners! Of course Scott Allan scored the most goals again. We added 1 Scottish League Title and 1 Scottish Cup to our Trophy Cabinet this season.
  7. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2030/2031 The Departures saw McKinstry leaving for 22M to Villareal and Trifkovic signing for 3.9M for Stuttgart. The rest were deadwood or loans. In June we signed Colombian winger John Edwin Montano and veteran defender Liam Morrison. The July signings featured talented Czech left back Zdenek Miker, Bulgarian both-sided full back Patrick Galchev, Scottish international striker Rory Wilson, young English winger Randy Highland and backup keeper talent Stevie Macintosh. In goal, we added a new talent in Macintosh, our defense lacked fullbacks and so we signed two, in midfield we added more wingers and for our attack, another striker was signed. The title is ours again! BOTH our strikers topped the goalscoring chart, an indication of how offensive our game has been this season. We won the Scottish Cup! The final against Rangers was a demonstration of our raw attacking power. We went out in the quarter final against Celtic. We were able to qualify from the League Phase to the first knockout round, but then lost the tie against Atletico Madrid. This years intake was ok, at least one elite striker was among the talents. We won the double! Both our strikers were the stars of the season this time but also Kavanagh and new signing Montano with 18 assists each deserve a mention. We added 1 Scottish League Title and 1 Scottish Cup to our Trophy Cabinet this season.
  8. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2029/2030 The Departures brought some nice cash: The Sheiks paid 13.25M for our LB McGinlay and McKenzie went to Poland for 1.4M. We spent around 25M for new players: Easton joined from Hibernians and is a very versatile player who can play both in defense and midfield, which made us pay the record fee of 11.5M for him. Beattie is a talented right back, Krones is a winger who can play on both sides and as a striker, Giles is a talented striker who joined from Aston Villa. Woods, a young central defender, joins from Man City. We also needed a new backup keeper and in came Vlachodimos who brings bags of experience. Japanese international midfielder Yamauchi joined in January. In goal, we now have vast experience with Vlachodimos. Defense was bolstered with Beattie and Woods. We were able to improve our midfield with the signings of Easton, Krones and Yamauchi. And in attack we added Giles, but loaned him out to Queens Park right away to gather experience. We were able to retain the title! Scott Allan scored 29 times this time and was voted Player of the Season. We reached to final again and won it against Hibernian. We won the domestic triple! And we won the League Cup for the 3rd time in a row now after defeating Rangers in the final. We qualified automatically for the League Phase this time, but could not make it to the next round. This years intake was mediocre. We only signed one player. Domestic Triple Winners! Allan & Kavanagh scored 58 goals altogether and McKinstry assisted at 23 goals. We added 1 Scottish League Title, 1 Scottish Cup and 1 League Cup to our Trophy Cabinet this season.
  9. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2028/2029 Departures in June and departures in July this season. Most prominent departure was our keeper Griffiths who we sold for 7M to Cardiff. We spent 4.1M on transfers: King and Trifkovic are versatile defenders, Oliver is a talented striker, while Rudoni and Gordon will bolster our midfield. And we signed 2 new goalkeepers: Peacock-Farrell is the current Northern Ireland national team goalkeeper and will be our designated number one from now on, while Doohan provides solid backup. The team looked solid enough to challenge for europe again. With the addition of the Northern Irish national team goalkeeper we have great quality in goal now. We won the league! Scott Allan scored 25 goals to make sure we finished first this season. Stuart McKinstry contributed 11 assists, and so did new signing Kaide Gordon. We went out against Rangers in the 5th round. Another trophy for our cabinet: We managed to retain the League Cup! After beating Queens Park, Livingston and Rangers, we beat Aberdeen in the final. We managed to leave a good impression in the Champions League after progressing from the League Phase -where we were able to beat the likes of Bayern and Atletico- to the 1st Knockout Round where we fell to Shakhtar. This years intake was way better than last season. We signed most of the players. The League Champions! Scott Allan was our player of the season, scoring 36 goals overall. We were able to add 1 Scottish League Title and 1 League Cup to our Trophy Cabinet this season.
  10. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2027/2028 The departures in the Summer window didnt hurt at all. One of those in the Winter window did though, as it was our main striker Carrizo leaving for Saudi Arabia for 11.25M. We tried to make up for that loss with 2 talent signings but it really wasnt more than that. Gillam and Kavanagh still need time to develop. Back to our Summer signings: Ross is a talented winger, Peupion has been voted Player of the Season 2 times in a row in the Championship. Gorman can play any position in defense and Allan is a fantastic striker talent we snapped up from Rangers. I think we have made some great signings for the future, especially Allan in attack stands out. Our attack should be able to win us games alone. This team continues to develop. We finished runners-up behind Celtic. This is the best ever finish of Partick Thistle in history. Our new young striker Scott Allan won the Young Player Of The Year Award, finishing second in the goalscorer chart. Stuart McKinstry registered the most assists this season. As a result, we will compete in the Champions League qualification next season. After beating Queen of the South, both Dundee clubs and Motherwell on the way, we reached the final where we beat Rangers in the final with a goal in extra time to win the Scottish Cup. We were able to overcome Hearts, Dunfermline and Motherwell to meet Celtic in the final and beat them 4-2 to win the Challenge Cup. This time, we did not even reach the League Phase. This years intake wasn´t special at all. We signed all the players though. What a team! Scott Allan - He alone scored 30 goals. Stuart McKinstry finally showed what he is able to do and Peupion was a pleasant surprise with his many assists. We were able to add 1 Scottish Cup and 1 Challenge Cup to our Trophy Cabinet this season.
  11. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2026/2027 A first glance at the Departures may be scary at first, but although Collahuazo is leaving us, this won´t happen this year but the next, because he gets loaned out to us for one more season by his new team FC Porto. We also loaded off some regulars from last season as they wanted to much money for their new contracts. The rest are the usual loans for match practice. Our new signings arrived in 2 phases: In the 1st phase, Shevlin and Murray arrived, still in June. Sadly, Shevlin proved far too weak for our team and was consequently loaned out to Larne. The 2nd phase started in July: Strong center back Kerr brings competition to our central defense, together with fellow new signing Murray. Winger Shoretire can play on both sides and behind the strikers. Cullen is a natural striker but can also play on the right wing. McCrorie is very versatile, but we plan to play him in defensive midfield. Same goes for Warrington. We needed a stronger shot-stopper and so Griffiths came in. And we also signed another backup keeper in Slicker. We also were able to loan winger Sule from West Brom. Fraser was signed as a backup fullback and Elliot is at talent for the future. But the biggest signing came in January: We managed to sign striker Carizzo from Velez Sarsfield for 7M! A new number one and a new backup goalkeeper. The defence got 2 new center backs in Murray and Kerr, we upgraded our midfield on the wings, and we added another striker to our attack. We managed to improve and finish in 3rd position this time. Which again means Europa Conference League qualification for us. No player from us in the top 3 rankings this season. We managed to beat Rangers in the 4th round but lost to Championship side Ayr in the next round. Nothing to be too proud of. In the Premier Sports Cup we managed to reach the semis after beating Dundee United and Dunfermline but then lost against Celtic. We love Europe! Another great showing saw us reach the first knockout round. We had to overcome Botev Plovdiv, HJK and Slavia Prague to reach the League Phase but there we dominated and actually finished FIRST! We also looked good after the first leg against Dynamo Kiev but somehow managed to lose the tie at home in the 2nd leg. Still, the lads did a great job in Europe again! This years intake was a bit better than last year. We signed all players. Again, a great team effort. Our new signings Shoretire and Carizzo stood out nevertheless. We could not add any more silverware this season.
  12. Wow this should be interesting. Wasnt expecting this move! Good luck with the Revolution
  13. Congratulations to a great first season in the top flight And what a nice transfer Grealish is!
  14. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2025/2026 Let´s start with the Departures: It was nice that Leicester paid good money for our deadwood. We got rid of some more players in the winter transfer window (including our new Uruguayan striker, who could not adjust to the life here and so we sold him after 6 months). With a transfer budget of around 3M, we were able to sign better players and strengthen the team in various departments. Our record singning for 2M was Stuart McKinstry from 2nd division outfit Queens Park, a very versatile winger. Central midfielder Liam Kinsella came on a free from Swindon, New Zealand international James McGarry was signed from Aberdeen, Winger Augustin Alfaro came from Uruguayan team Maldonado (but he did not last long as you read above already), and fellow striker Tyreece John-Jules signed on a free. In january, we signed full-back Callum Sullivan from Birmingham on loan for the remainder of the season. We also promoted 2 players from our Youth Academy to the first team: Winger Luke Haining and defender Connor Collins. No changes among our already decent goalkeepers, The defence got another Left Back in McGarry. McKinstry & Kinsella upgraded our midfield for sure, and we added another striker to our attack with John-Jules. We were able to repeat our successful season from last year and finished in 4th place again. That means Europa Conference League qualfication once more. Nice to find Sneddon among the top 3 keepers with the most clean sheets and McGarry finishing 3rd in the assist table with 10 assists. A wonderful cup run saw us reach the final against Rangers, which we heartbreakingly lost in stoppage time but I can only praise the lads for that achievement. In the Premier Sports Cup we managed to beat St.Mirren in the second round but went out in the quarter final against St.Johnstone. We started out in the Europa League 1st qualifying round and even managed to overcome Swiss contenders Servette Geneva, but fell to Czech side Viktoria Plzen in the next round, relegating us to the Europa Conference League 4th qualfying round. There we managed to beat Polish outfit Pogon Szczecin over 2 legs to reach the League Phase. We finished 9th, with our striker John-Jules topping the goalscorer chart, to qualify for the knockout playoffs where we met Italian Serie A team Sassoulo and they made short work of us, winning 6-3 on aggregate. Still, a great European showing from the lads. This years intake was way better than last year. We signed almost all players. The Epitome of a Team Effort. No player with an AVR above 7 is strange though. We could not add any more silverware this season.
  15. Dele Alli in League One ? How did you manage that?
  16. Congrats to promotion! Lovin this! Barnet was my very first save when I played Championship Manager for the first time ever, so The Bees will always have a place in my heart will follow this!
  17. THE OTHER TEAM FROM GLASGOW SEASON 2024/2025 This team seemed capable of staying up with this tactic, which was the aim of this season. We added one new backup keeper to our already decent goalkeepers, The defence was definitely upgraded by the new signings, as was our midfield. In attack, the 2 new strikers gave Wickham some competition. A lot of signings again this time but we desperately needed improvements. Hernandez is a great Anchor Man, McLaughlin can play everywhere on the left. Kirk is a solid center back, while MacIver can play on both wings and in attack. Exactly the same goes for Glatzel. Stone is a solid backup goalkeeper. We also signed versatile defender O´Connor for the wingback positions. In the Winter Window we also added strong Ecuadorian center back Collahuazo to our team. Cannon and McKinnon joined on loan to bolster the squad some more. Last years best player Brian Graham didn´t want to extend his contract and was too old anyway so he went. And with him went more players: Fitzpatrick, for whom we got the record sum of 675K from Rangers and regulars Bannigan and Milne who thought our club was too small for them. I guess we will see. In the end we finished 4th.This was rather unexpected with this squad. So it is the Europa League next season! A fantastic cup run saw us reach the semi final, where we fell to big Celtic after beating Aberdeen, Inverness and Dundee United on our way. In the Premier Sports Cup we went out in the group stage this time. This year´s intake was not as good as last year. We´ll cope. Glatzel´s 15 goals stand out of course, but it was a great team effort again. We could not add any more silverware this season.
  18. No, Im just saying that sometimes you need to be patient. Things like that take time to get fixed.
  19. how should I know? It is YOUR save isnt it? Sometimes you just have to be patient.
