  1. I think the reason is that when you upgrade training facilities it can enable better players to come to your club (some players wont come if the facilities are too low, I think?) So when you upgrade training facilities it sort of takes you to the next level of the game. Suddenly you can get better players in your team. It's like a 'power-up'. I think they want to slow down the pace at which your club can grow to prevent clubs magically suddenly being able to attract big name players to their small wage structure club. It would be like Huddersfield signing Ronaldo.
  2. If someone could just collate these kind of useful responses from staff in one place, and put them all in a locked forum, updated only by staff, that would be really helpful. Call it What's Changed? or something like that maybe? Otherwise insightful responses like this just get lost in the depths of threads, and is such a waste. Someone could come on the forums in a few days time moaning about how the game hasn't changed, having completely missed this post and others like it that are scattered around everywhere.
  3. Thanks for the pictures, but which team is in possession?
  4. The heating. It's now much cooler which I'm finding really helps with the current mild spell we're having.
  5. The trap is set inside which results in the ball being funnelled to the outside of the pitch?
  6. It's not about being flawless.... just clear. Maybe Press to Outside instead of Trap Outside? Or Set Traps Inside instead of Trap Outside?
  7. Seems like the new graphics engine is really starting to bear fruit this year
  8. I replied with why the answers didnt make sense but didnt get any follow up.
  9. Does anyone else get a bit confused by the wording of Trap Inside and Trap Outside? Trap Outside description says it funnels players towards the wings.... so the trap is actually set inside leading to the ball being funneled outside?? So if the trap is set inside, it seems confusing to call it trap outside?
  10. yes but imagine if mistakes that led to moves breaking down became more common in the ME? The forum would be flooded with complaints from people! ... this is ridiculous! Every time my team tries to build a move some player makes a bad touch and the move is finished! My team can barely put any moves together! What is the point of tactics anymore if my platyers cant do them! SI Games are clueless!!! etc etc etc
  11. Do penalty replays now show the foul itself? Or is it still only the penalty shot that gets replayed?
  12. Filtering out penalties and set pieces from stats is very useful, great to hear. Can you do that on the data hub too? And can you filter data hub according to a specific set of dates? EG filter out everything before 10 December (which was when I changed my formation)
  13. If your winger doesn't have good balance, it ruins him, regardless of other attributes
  14. Obviously someone in the crowd asked for his autograph.... these things hasppen
  15. Many teams in real life create lots of great chances but fail to convert. Look at Liverpool vs Forest only this afternoon.
  16. Slightly too much ball bobbling? When a winger does a long dribble down the flank, every single touch is a ball bobble.... seems a little bit too much. A few bobbles yes, but then also have some touches where the ball stays flat on the ground.
  17. I think the description needs amending. It's unclear where the traps are being set. Trap outside funnels the balls wide. But aren't the pressing traps set on the inside, which then forces the ball wide?
  18. Nope, because it says the trap funnels the ball wide. So they mean trap as in a pressing trap. Not trap as in the verb 'to trap'.
  19. But the description says the trap funnels the ball into wide areas. It doesn't say they first block central passing lanes and then the ball is played wide and then the trap is set wide. The trap has already been set and that is the reason the ball ends up going wide.
  20. “Trap outside asks the team to set a pressing trap designed to funnel the ball into wide areas, where the opposition have fewer options with the ball, and are more likely to concede possession.” Does this mean the trap is set inside central areas so that the ball ends up being funnelled out wide by the opposition in an effort to save possession?? If so then shouldn't it be called 'Set traps inside'?
  21. Earrings and wrist watches but no gold chains? tut tut tut, si games are really losing it
