    Yeah it's a bug that's plagued skins for years and tbh i don't know how to fix it. What i find is if you change and go back and forth it bugs out, if you change and go onto the squad screen, then onto another player it seems ok you'll have to wait for the in game editor to release i think

    Football Manager 2022 Base Skin As with most recent Football Managers for you to make certain changes in Football Manager 2024 you need to create a new skin. Thankfully over the last few years some more stuff has been moved out of the skins folder so you only really need the Base skin if you are wanting to edit the skin graphics, fonts or colours. If you want to edit the match graphics or the most of the panel xml files you no longer really need the base skins. So to make things easier for people I've put up a base skin that is identical to the default skin that comes with the game, so you can add new files/graphics to these without messing up the original skin, and anything that isn't located in these new skin folders will be taken from the default locations within the game. For Football Manager 2024 there is just the one Base Skin based on the Default Skin which is the Dark version this year, however I have provided four different versions. FM24 Base Skin Lite - The barebones needed for a skin, features needed folders and config files and thats it FM24 Base Skin - The regular base skin experience FM 24 Base Skin Transparent - The regular base skin with a transparent background to support stadium images FM24 Base Skin Advanced - Features all skin colours, properties and classes files. When you extract the file you have downloaded you should have four folders, choose your desired skin. Now copy the folder into your skins folder within your User Data Location, by default this is: For Windows: C:\Users\[Your Windows Username]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\ FM24 Base Skins.zip

    A question, have you edited your properties file? I imagine the ID from the 23 would've changed so you'd need to either need to ammend your file or make the same edits to the 24 base properties file.

    Im fairly sure its set in the editor. Not sure if you can edit it with the in game editor when that is out however

    Not likely. 23 added a ton of metrics that skins like this rely on. The game has been out 3 or 4 days, we get the game at the same time as you, making a basic skin takes ages, let alone a complex like this one.

    the game kept overriding other options with it and was just being a nuisance so i've removed it. Until i can figure it out, your best bet is to use other tabs

    Easiest way would be deleting competition news panel from the competition file, should fix it without any issues

    yeah just a byproduct of adding the selector unfortunately, previously it was overlayed on top of each other, this time it has had to be done properly in containers Re: coaching course, will take a look Re: Squad Planner - if you mean the squad depth screen, i plan to add it again, but i'm waiting for the full game in case the relevant panels change

    awesome, will have a look when i have a chance. the dropdown is still there, just blends into the background. something i will have a look at when i get the chance. i design the skin on 1440p with windows at 125% and the game at 100%. Anything other then that isn't supported unfortunately

    does it happen on the base skin? afaik twisted ankle isn't one with options, stuff like the flu are

    you've got a background pack installed somewhere. make sure it isn't in your fm24 directory anywhere, then clear the cache and reload skin

    nah tried it last year, wouldn't fit in the space that we have, the position names get cut off

    Must've been replaced when i copied the skin over, as i wanted to get it out asap. Will be restored for the next update
