Hi @tomr55, is this reproducing consistently for you on every match? We're struggling to reproduce this internally within the studio currently, so any steps that occur prior to this issue would be appreciated - cheers!

Hi @Bad Wolf, hopefully this helps:
1. This was indeed an issue on our Early Access Beta, and I believe it should now be fixed.
2. You're not tied to Saints (although with how well they're playing recently, you may wish you were!), but the edition does have licensed club assets and player faces that aren't available in the normal Football Manager 2021.

Hey @Ripley777, this has been covered on a topic within the Switch bug forum:
To quote what I put there: "This is something that is under review within the studio at the moment. A current solution to this is to use the mouse cursor to select the "magnifying glass", which will bring up the full search menu rather than the predictive one."
Any updates on the progress we make on a fix for this will be provided in that thread above - hope that helps!

I see what you mean now @leateatea, on the Tactics section you can use the cursor to select next to the player's name, or use the Y button to bring up a list of replacement players that will be on the subs bench, or outside of the 11 and subs - let me know if that's what you're after here.

Hi @leateatea, thanks for raising all of these. Here's some information on your three points:
1. This is something that is under review within the studio at the moment. A current solution to this is to use the mouse cursor to select the "magnifying glass", which will bring up the full search menu rather than the predictive one.
2. We don't have the filter system available on the Tactics menu unfortunately, so there's no way to scan the reserves within that screen.
3. The cursor is something we're looking at tweaking, largely because it's not very fluid as you said. We haven't noticed anything about it getting stuck though. Is it getting stuck for long, or is it more to do with it just not being very fluid?

Hi @jamiousdaywalker, Switch is exclusively three nations (no cloud saving), and there's no unlockables or editor.

Before creating a thread in the FM21 Touch Switch bugs forum, please first search the forum to see if someone else has already posted the same issue - any duplicate threads will be locked.
Next, check the FAQ to see if it contains the solution to your issue.
When reporting a new issue, there is no way to extract save files from a Nintendo Switch, so we need as much information as possible. We will ask you for information required, but please always try to provide the following when reporting a new issue:
- Team managed
- Leagues loaded
- In-game date
- Steps to reproduce the issue if known
- Whether the game is installed on internal storage or an SD card
If the issue is a crash or freeze it also helps to know where in the game it is happening and whether it is happening when performing a specific action, when continuing, or on a specific in-game date.
Lastly, screenshots to illustrate the issue are always helpful.
If you need more general advice on playing the game, please consult the online manual first. If you can't find the help you need in the manual, please post in the FM Touch General Discussion forum.

The reason adding more than one manager isn't available on Tablet, Xbox and Switch is purely down to the technical limitations of each platform with regards to memory and save size.

Hey @Gmrpinfold, you can only have one manager at a time on the Xbox edition.

Hi @srvngrc, if you press the left stick down this will toggle the mouse emulation on. You can see this on the controller mapping via the FM menu. Let me know how you get on with this.

Hey @Cristo, the yellow highlight box was indeed a new addition for FMT20 on Switch, as we began to make improvements to the controller navigation (i.e. if you're using the d-pad to navigate). The idea behind it was that it would indicate to the user what the current "focus" was on, if they weren't using the mouse. Your feedback on this has definitely been noted though, and it's very much appreciated as we begin to look at additional improvements for any further potential releases.

Hi @Tecmo, "Attribute Masking" is off by default on Switch, whilst it is an unlockable on other FMT platforms. Out of curiosity, is this something you feel should be included in the Switch version of the game?

Hi @LiamAK93, as others have said, the way to get around this is holiday to the 2020 season and then retire, and then Add New Manager to place yourself as Inter Miami's manager. This is an issue across the game (for example, this is the case with Macarthur in the Australian A-League too) due to memory constraints. This is something we're constantly looking at for improvements though.

Hi @Dale Ald, these ME fixes were incorporated within 20.3, and now Switch is on 20.4, so these fixes should be present.

We're happy to announce the release of update 20.4.0 for FM20 Touch on Switch.
This update is to ensure Switch is brought in line with other platforms who updated to 20.4.0 recently.
For database and competition updates you'll be required to start a new game, but for all other fixes you're fine to continue any pre-existing saves.
20.4.0 Update Changes including (but not limited to):

- Stability fixes.
- UI fixes and improvements.
- Competition tweaks and updates across a number of leagues.

Hi @Samelders, have the partnership lines disappeared permanently? If you navigate to another screen and then return to the Tactics Overview, do the partnership lines return?

Hi @Krzystke, I'm sorry to hear about this issue. This is now under review within the studio, and we're attempting to identify what could be causing this (as it seems to be working fine outside of the match). We'll keep you updated on any progress we make on this issue. For now, pressing the left-stick to toggle the mouse cursor on should allow you to make these changes.
