Legend! I wouldn't stress about the ''immersive deadline day'', I've played default leagues like Brazil and Canada and they don't have this feature. Maybe it's only available for european leagues? Anyway time to start a save in NRFL

Just ironing out some bugs I found while playing and trying my best to enable the "Immersive Deadline Day Experience" feature, which at the moment refuses to cooperate.
On that note, now would be a good time to share any bugs that need fixing for the next version.
Latest file looked pretty much perfect! My only suggestion would be to change back B/C teams as non-playable reserve teams rather than affiliate clubs (except the infamous case of Lower Hutt/WP reserves
) but it's mostly a personal preference (I find it easier to move and manage players between squads plus I like to hire staff for reserve teams 
)

Sadly still no MLS Next and MLS Next Pro in latest official update 22.3
Would be fun to start a save with Vancouver (including reserve/academy teams in MLS Next, MLS Next Pro and L1BC) in an expanded american/canadian pyramid compatible with the canadian megapatch!

They have tweaked IW IFs which applies to AI Tactics as well, so if only a few minor changes, in general tactics should work as before the update.

Anything remotely resembling a fix would certainly be a "major change" - and frankly the ME really doesn't need much else to be very, very good indeed.I'm aware of that, though in recent editions SI had also acknowledged issues like strikers movement or central play but could not fix them in the winter update as a potential fix could mess other parts of ME. Obviously I have no idea if SI will come up with a major ME fix this year, all I'm saying is based on winter updates of recent editions I wouldn't be surprised if ME changes were very minor.

@FalkenbergI wouldn't adjust. Lower leagues are not necessarily harder as opponents don't have much quality either. The 4123 can be very dominating (it was for me in brazilian third division) if you have players with decent attributes in the right places. Pace and dribbling are the key for wingbacks and strikers, also it would be wise to have a decent corner kicks taker and CB's with good jumping/heading (goals from corners can be very powerful).

Third chapter of the Manaus mini-series. Still used Kashmir 4213 in brazilian first division (newly promoted and predicted 17th)

Another great season for the striker who has now won top scorer award in all three national divisions after scoring 48 goals in Série A. Not enough to win player of the year though:
Diego Raposo scored 16 goals and assisted 28 in the national league (lots of them from corners). As always never mind the stats from Campeonato Amazonense
A superb tactic especially for those who want central striker and AMC to be the stars of their formation. Near post corners are also very effective, if you have a tall striker you might want adjust the corner setup to further boost his tally

I'd say most goals come from crosses from CWB's, cut backs from F9's and also lots of goals from corners!

Kashmir 4212 with Manaus in brazilian second division (newly promoted)
After using the 4123 in previous season switched to this narrow 4213 formation to accomodate my star AMC and results were equally great. Striker Paulo Vyctor managed to score even more goals than last season finishing with an absurd 145 goals. Forget the Amazonense (over 4 goals per game against extremely weak opponents), 51 goals in 34 Série B matches were particularly impressive.
Also won Copa Verde beating a first division side in the final though wasn't able to repeat last season deep run in the national cup. I think the 4123 might be slightly better if you have quality, complete midfielders at MEZ and CM though personally I prefer this 4213 as I like using a pure No.10. AMC and AF were the stars of this tactic though admittedly AMC got most assists from corners

Kashmir 4123 with Manaus (brazilian third division)
Bossed the league and reached cup final (lost against first division side Internacional due to a first leg disaster with red cards, penalties and freak goals, we won second leg comfortably but wasn't enough). Go-to-striker Paulo Vyctor absolutely unstoppable at AF
That's 108 goals in 56 matches. Never mind the Amazonense (very weak opponents), 39 goals in serie C and especially 17 in the Copa are a very good result for this standard of team and player.
I'm going to switch to Kashmir 4213 next season as I've signed an excellent pure AMC though it will be hard to do better than this one! One of the most dominating tactics I've used in recent years, even against much bigger clubs

If I had to use an AMC type (very good technical attributes and creativity, not very pacey) in the Kashmir 4123 woud he be better as one of the F9 or as CM/MEZ? The 4213 above also looks very interesting

@knap you think VENOM 442 (the one with F9) will still work with WB/IW instead of IWB/W? My team is built for 4231 but wouldn't mind switching to a 442 with F9 and IW

MLS Next is the competition for academy teams and other american youth teams. MLS Next Pro will be a professional league (likely considered third tier of USA pyramid) made mostly of MLS B teams plus a few independent clubs like Rochester.

MLS Next is a system of youth leagues and basically the successor of the old USSDA system. MLS academies compete in these leagues together with other youth teams. I have no idea about Vancouver next year, they might still enter for example an U17 team in MLS Next and maybe an U19 in L1BC who knows? Their B team has also been announced as one of the 21 inaugural clubs of MLS Next Pro

I guess this will restrict the pool of players capable of scoring at super high rate from corners, though a player with elite jumping and heading (17+) like VVD can stil finish a season with 20+ goals especially if playing for a team that tends to win lots of corners.
