  1. OK, but after thinking about this, this is still not correct. To get a licence for the 1th amateur in real life you need at least 5 persons on professional/semi-professional contract. This means the solution that you mentioned is not according real ife, and won't solve the issues in the 2 highest divisions. I still can't understand that this can't be solved in a correct way. Until 3 or 4 years ago there weren't these big issues with the finances (this is not only going in the Belgian leagues). Going back to that period regarding handling the finances shouldn't be that difficult. The only thing that is changing year after year is that the finances are getting worse every new FM.
  2. Thanks. Will this be in the next update, or is this already implemented?
  3. @Moondog777: I don't see Belgium mentioned in the hot fix of today. So I assume that the issue isn't solved?
  4. Thanks for the trial run. Unfortunally, it seems that Belgium is still unplayable.
  5. Thank you very much. Finally somebody who do something with our remarks.
  6. As Latvia has only 1 league, it's not applicable for this challenge. Sorry.
  7. I can only show the projection, and that is looking terrible. Losing €1.5M per year. So again, Belgium is unplayable.
  8. I also started as Racing Mechelen, but I was only 1 month in. Will start again in another country, but this takes already the fun away from the new game. How difficult can it be to solve this problem that we have for already a couple of years.
  9. So you actually say that the financial issue won't be solved ever? So Belgium is unplayable? Adding some finances to my club will only solbve the issue for a short term, and that is not what I'm looking for.
  10. Hello, Are the financial issues solved? I don't want to start a new save without knowing that problem is solved Looking forward to your feedback.
  11. What is the status? We are 1.5 months further, so I hope you have made some progress with this topic. Looking forward to your feedback.
  12. Cottbus - Bundesliga 2 - Season 2025-2026 Predicted: 17th Final position: 11th We had a good first season in the second division. We were never in any relegation battle, and were the complete season just below mid-table. Finishing in 11th place is very good. Next season I think we will have a much harder season, as a lot of our older players refuse to sign a new contract, so we will have to put in a lot youngster, and I'm not sure they all be ready for second division football. Games 1 Games 2 Cup: we had a very good cup run with eliminating a first division team Hannover 96 before being kicked-out by Stuttgart in the 1/8 final. Stuttgart made it to the final were they lost against Bayern. Transfers: None Youth intake: We had a good preview and also a good intake, but no player was standing out. We gave 8 youngsters a contract. Jerome Grupp (YP3a): ST Ali Brunneman (YP3b): ST Maximilan Sturm (YP3c): ML Christof Geisler (YP3d): GK Again our best prospects are attacking players, so I'm thinking of changing my HOYD. Finances: We finally made some money, and also our new stadium is ready. We could upgrade our youth facilities, but the board keeps refusing upgrading our youth recruitement. They want me to use the transfer market instead of developing our own youth.
  13. Cottbus - 3.Liga - Season 2024-2025 Predicted: 13th Final position: 1th We started the season good, but then we collapsed and after 13 games we were in 10th position. At that moment I decided to put 2 youngsters in the team. Both played on the attacking wings position. And they really dellivered and improved a lot during the season. Those 2 changes were the key to our success. We were crowned champions with an away win at Kaiserlautern, 2nd at the moment. We deserved to be champions as we hadn't lost a game during the last 25 games of the season. Games 1 Games 2 Games 3 Cup: We were eliminated by a second division team. Transfers: None Youth intake: we had a very good preview and the intake itself was also good, but not as good as the preview suggested. Herbert Stiefel (YP2a): ST Darius Wilk (YP2b): AMC Fridolin Rose (YP2c): ST Ousmane Dramé (YP2d): AML with a terrible personality Finances: Deeper in red, but with the price money in the 2nd division it will be much. Altough we are more in dept, the board decided to get on with the new stadium. Our training facilities wre downgraded at the end of the season, and with no money in the banc, an upgrade is not possible at the moment.
  14. TempteTempted do start this challenge. Also tried it last year, but I had some problems with to compose the national pool itself, and to designate the players to be called up by myself. And that ruined the joy of save for me. Can somebody explain this to me please? Thanks in advance.
  15. Correct, but I played for 9-10k last season, and they are going to build a 13k stadium. And minimum specs for 2nd division are 15k. So they are not thinking of the future.
  16. As I again stopped my save in Belgium due to the financial bug, I started a save in Germany. And I have some unfinished bussiness with the team that I have chosen. I had a youth save with them in FM21 & FM22 and reach in both versions the Bundesliga, but never got into Europe with them. So I hope it goes better this year. Energie Cottbus - 3.Liga - Season 2023-2024 Predicted: 14th (no picture) Final position 6th We started the season very good with 2 wins. During the second month we had a bad period with no wins in 6 consecutive games, and we feld down to the 14th position. A small change in fielded players change our luck, and we went on a run of 13 games without a loss. From that moment on we were battling with 6 teams for the promotion places. We stayed in the promotion places almost the rest of the season, but with 4 games to go we again had a bad run with 3 consecutive losses. Before the last game we were in 6th position, but only 2 points behind Hansa Rostock who were second. As Dortmund II and Bayern II can't get promoted we still had a change on getting promoted or getting in to the playoffs. We needed a win and at least 1 team above us had to loose points. We won our game against the already relegated Werder Bremen II. On the other fields it was a roller coaster of emotions. With 5 minutes to go we were promoted as Hansa and Osnabruck were drawing. 2 minutes later Osnabruck scored, and we were down to the play-offs. And in the 93th minute Hansa Rostock also scored, leaving us with nothing. A very unfortunally end of the season, but the only team to blame is ourself. We lost to many games during the season. But overall I'm very hapy with the season, and I hope to get promoted next season. Games 1 Games 2 Games 3 Cup; Didn't enter the cup Transfers: Only 2 outgoing transfers Youth intake: We had an OK preview, and the actual intake was even better than the preview. And most of them have pretty good personalities.I signed 10 youngsters. Alexandru Rad (YP1a): AMR Nouhoum Kayetano (YP1b): DC Robert Kröpfl (YP1c): DR/DC Daniel Unversucht (YP1d): MR, but will be retrained as I don't play with MR's Luca Mai (YP1e): MR, but will also be retrained. Finances: we lost around €1.8M, so no upgrades. But the board decided to build a new stadium. We don't have the money and the new stadium will be much smaller than the current one, so I don't understand why. This also happened in FM21 & FM22, so I think this is a bug.
  17. And 2 months later only 3 teams are not in debt. I think it was due to sponsoring that 14 teams were not in debt. I stopped the save as the fun is gone.
  18. In the 3 leagues combined we have 50 teams. At the moment 6 of them are youth teams and I haven't add them to the research. 14 teams are not in debt, and 4 of them are teams that just have been promoted of the 4th division. This means that 30 teams out of 40 teams are in debt after just 2 seasons. The debt is going from €16M to €200k. This is completely unrealistic.
  19. OK, found it. I'm only 2 seasons in and the finances doesn't seem to be that bad as in your save for other teams, but to many teams are in dept especially the smaller teams. I'll keep playing and see how it evolves. I will add screenshots later.
