After winning the derby this week, I just had to restart a save with my team Racing Mechelen. I know that there are financial problems in Belgium, but I can't resist.

The lack of feedback from SI is so disappointing. They just don't care about the Belgium leagues.

Good luck in Belgium. If you don't have a HOYD than I would suggest that you take a staff member with the best personality for youth intakes. You will be our trigger if they have solved the financial issues in Belgium. If so I will restart in Belgium.

For my next try I go to Italy. Maybe an easier choice, but played my first season already and feels that this could be the long save (until they fix the financial problems in Belgium. ). Catania - Serie C-C - Season 2023-2024 Predicted: 11th Final position: 1th What an incredible season we had. We were the whole season around 6 or 7th place, but during the last 12 games, they teams above us start losing points. With 4 games to go we raise to the first place. We hold on and with a 4-3 win in our last game of the season we were crowned as champions. Games 1 Games 2 Games 3 Serie C Cup: Didn't care about this cup and were eliminated in the second round by SPAL, a team that was relegated from Serie B. Transfers: None Youth intake. We had an OK preview (forgot to take a screenshot), and the actual intake didn't disappoint. Fabio Zampieri (YP1a): ST Andrea Lodi (YP1b): AML/ST Massimo Guida (YP1c): GK, will be first choice next season as he is the "best" GK I have. Francesco Vantaggiato (YP1d): AMR, will be a starter next season as my main AMR just decided to retire. Tomas Petravicius (YP1e): DC, but will be retrained as a MC due to his lenght. He is way to short to be a DC. A couple of the new youngsters will have to play next season, and I'm afraid this is too early, but let's hope they will adapt fast. Finances: We had a small profit, but only due to our sponsoring. We could upgrade junior coaching 2 times (1, 2) and youth recruitement once. I hope to stay up next season, as I'm afraid that this promotion came to soon. We have to many older players, and not good enough youngsters that can replace them.

I've put my Toulon save on hold. Finished the second season, and it was a good season. Also got a good youth intake, but just don't feel a connection with the team.

SC Toulon - National - Season 2023-2024 Predicted: 16th Final position: 7th We started the season badly, with only 2 wins in our first 8 games. This left us in the relegation spots, and with 6 relegation spots this season, I thought we would have a very difficult season, but suddenly we played some very good football and we were on a run of 8 games without a defeat and we were a mid-table team. We stayed there until 3/4 of the season. The teams above us began to lose "easy" games, and before we knew we had a small chance to get promoted. This didn't happen, but we had a very good 1th season. When we wouldn't had such a terrible start of the season we would have every chance of getting promoted. Maybe we have another chance next season, but with 10 players older than 30, I'm afraid they will decline very fast, and we don't have good enough youngsters to replace them right away. Games 1 Games 2 Cup: we were eliminated by a second division team in the 7th round. Transfers: None Youth intake: we had a good preview, but the intake itself was a bit underwelming. All tagged players were signed. The good new is that they max wanted €45/week. What a difference with Belgium. This also happens in my save in France. 3 out of 4 teams that got promoted went to a smaller stadium than they original had. Seems very odd to me.

I've put my Racing Mechelen save on hold. Unplayable in Belgium. I hope they fix this financial issue.

For me, Belgium is unplayable at the moment. It"s a pity because a lot of youngsters are developping very good.

I think we have a problem. Our wage bill is reduced by the board with 5k and we are now 9k above our budget. Due to this I can only give me youngsters from our first intake a new contract of €130 max. Problem is that they are now on €500 a week. Of course they don't want to sign a new contract. I hope that I can sign the new bunch of youngsters when they come through at the end of the season, but it seems that this challenge can end very soon. After 2.5 seasons I'm almost €6M in debt.

Racing Mechelen - 1ste Nationale - Season 2024-2025 Predicted: 18th Final position: 13th We had a similar season as the last one. We picked up 2 more points and finshed 1 plave higher. 5 players of last year intake have made their debuts, and 3 of them are now in the starting 11. Games 1 Games 2 Cup: Again eliminated in the 5th round, and now by @XaW his team Berchem. This win of Berchem was only 1 of their 3 wins in the whole season, and we will meet them again next season in the 3th division. Transfers: None Youth intake: Again we had an excellent preview (1, 2), but the actual intake (1, 2) was not as good as expected. All tagged players were signed. We lost another €2M this season, and our balance is now €3.5M in red. No investments of the club, so I'm waiting to get into administration. In this save we have 1 tycoon takeover and 1 first division team that went into administration.
